I think the displeasure/concern is he isn't super althetic and timed pretty poorly across the board.
This. They still don’t have much speed off the edge. -

100% chance he is stashed on IR for 2020
I would be 100% good with them giving him a redshirt year.- 2

I have to believe that the drop off in DE from round 2 to round 3 was greater than the drop off in RB....because Dobbins sure did look like a sweet pick! I wonder how they had Moss rated vs Dobbins? These guys know infinitely more about this than I do, and they have a great track record, so I trust this was the best way to go.
I bet some of Beane’s angst leading up to the Moss pick was because he knew it was a gamble to go DE first.
.
They could have gone Dobbins and Joe Greenard in the 3rd. All water under the bridge, though, because they picked who they did.- 2

i'm going to say we had a deal in place with the Cowboys and we were going to trade up for Jacob Eason, who went 1 pick in front of the Boys. That's just specualtion of course but Eason is the type of QB that the front office usually covets (Cam Newton/Josh Allen) which I was a little bit surprised to see them go Fromm since this offense looks like it's built for the long ball and Eason would have made alot of sense. I still like the Fromm pick alot and I don't think Barkley has a chance in hell to retain his job, just my opinion.
I agree, think it was Eason too. Would have made a lot more sense than Fromm. Though I’m optimistic Fromm can become a solid backup in a few years. -

Williams is going to compete for a roster depth position.
I can’t imagine the Bills wants to move Ford to guard. Think Williams will backup multiple spots if he makes the team.- 1

Bills rumored to be signing Michael Turk Punter from Az. State. Unconfirmed. Draft diamonds had the report along with the interest in Coe from Auburn.
Both would be solid gets. -
Surprised they based on Gandy-Golden for Davis. But clearly Beane liked him better. We will see. Training camp should be interesting. A lot of competition for the 4-6 receiver slots.

Geez... Trey Adams at 20...
Must be disappointing to fall like that...
Pretty sure he has no knees. -
Any word on Hunter Bryant?

I’d be shocked if 3 TIght Ends went in the 1st round. OL and CB will probably be bigger needs next year anyways.

Good competition to bring to the WR room.

A guy with a 2nd/3rd round grade in the 5th. Hope he develops into a solid backup.

It will be nice to have a 2nd RB we can hand the ball to without automatocally surrendering the down.
Man, remember Mike Tolbert? He was worse than Gore was at by the end of this year.

I will say this as well. Beane is smart and if we had that bad of a line he would have grabbed a guy with one of the first two picks or made a bigger splash move in free agency. I truly feel we have a very good line if we shore up the right tackle spot. Josh Allen holds on to the ball longer than any QB in the NFL and that's a fact. This obviously results in more sacks and more penalties. This reminds me of when Rob Johnson was getting smashed for 7 or 8 sacks a game and everyone said our line is not good. Then Flutie comes in and the guy gets rid of the ball in a timely manner and the sack numbers go way down. I know you aren't saying we are terrible Bob but we also might be a lot better than most realize at that position.
I think Beane is hoping another year of those 5 guys gelling will make them into an above average offensive line.- 1

I like the Espensa pick more now that they grabbed Moss.

Bills need offense. And they pick a slow defensive end with limited potential as a pass rusher.

Wow. What a bummer of a pick. Don’t think he has much potential beyond a solid starter.

I know I could think of some names.
That would be an ideal way of adding picks or moving up. -

This could have a huge impact on the draft. I think it's good to find out today rather than after the draft. At least Beane knows the market has blown up. We may end up drafting a guy and grooming him, and trading Dawkins next year. Hell, we went through this with Jason Peters, but he pretty much forced our hands. We signed him after the draft, developed him, and he moved on.
Dawkins seems like a good dude, though. I think he likes being on our team.
Perhaps the rest of the league will recognize the Tunsil deal as an insane aberration.
Yeah he likes it here, but if someone wants to pay him significantly more than the Bills value him, I don’t think it would be hard for him to learn to like that new team. -
I really hope Beane can stay put in the 2nd and grab a guy he likes. Would like to see him package later picks and move back into round 3.
-
Would rather him get 3 guys he thinks can contribute than 7 guys who might contribute. Beane will trade up more than once. Or trade for future picks.
