This is really not a playoff caliber defense. I feel a disappointing end to the season coming.
Then there is no playoff caliber defense in the league. The scoring is up against everyone in the league. The D actually came through big today.

Clearly a TD. When he gets second foot down the ball is over the white end line. Remember it only has to touch the line.

From what I can tell if the Chiefs win or the Texans lose in week 17, we get the Texans. I'd call it better than 50/50 that we get HOU. KC still has a chance at the 2 seed if they win and Miami beats the pats*.
KC could beat the Chargers at home with their scout team. It’s about a 90% chance at this point.

nope... we could still draw KC if the Chiefs lose next week AND the Texans win next week.
True, but highly unlikely.

Absurd?
Im just going to leave this right here. This is and objective review of Allen by the same national media. (with clips in link)
"And that is how a quarterback goes 13-for-26. And that is why he now has 14 starts with a 55 percent completion rate or lower. As in, 14 of his 26 starts. Not great.
Maybe not the guy you take out of Wyoming with the seventh overall pick. Just a thought."
Consistency and accuracy has been his biggest problem and his minimal improvement in those areas is what objective fans are concerned about and point out.
Its not absurd to say Allen displays 25% magic and 75% sub par play in the majority his career.
If this were even remotely true, this team wouldn’t have more than 5 wins this season.

How can you let a lineman run free when he reports eligible - don't you have to even be aware of where he goes?
Daboll outsmarted them.

me too??
Because the receiver was stopped short “in bounds”. When they stop to review in last 2 minutes they”assume” 10 seconds until next play.

I am not being a hater, he hasn't been good this half.
Let's just be honest.
He was good when he needed to be. That pass was phenomenal.

No the point is the Bills have gone 45 games without one that to mean seems almost impossible to do, unless your coaching philosophy is so out of date......
BTW for those who haven't looked, the Bills are not 45-0 over those 45 games, which seems to be the argument that you don't need to throw for 300 by some posters here.....
no, but they’re 9-3 this year and that’s all that counts. Redzone efficiency and third down efficiency are far, far more important than whether you simply threw for 300 yards. Did you have to throw 50 times? We’re all your yards between the 20’s? Those are the important factors.

Here we go the anti-300 yards stupidity again.....
2018 Passing Leaders by yards..... Yep all suck & terrble records too.... See Brees troo is missing, another garbage QB....
1. Ben Roethlisberger • PIT 5129 2. Patrick Mahomes • KAN 5097 3. Matt Ryan • ATL 4924 4. Jared Goff • LAR 4688 5. Andrew Luck • IND 4593 6. Aaron Rodgers • GNB 4442 7. Tom Brady • NWE 4355 8. Philip Rivers • LAC 4308 9. Eli Manning • NYG 4299 10. Kirk Cousins • MIN 4298
Don’t think it’s anti-300 yards in and of itself. It’s those who think 300 yards in and of itself means something, it doesn’t. It’s a meaningless figure. Need to look ay many factors, RZ effectiveness, third down completions that lead to first downs etc...
the point being made is that many of those QBs throwing for 300 yards are losing games.

Except for, ya know, Cleveland...
Yes, I was there and he missed 2. Although the second was from 52 yards.

Agreed. I think Darnold is good and will get better. If both were available to us on draft night, my first choice would have been Darnold. Glad we have Josh, but I think Darnold is going to work out for the Jets.
Overall I like Darnold too, but let’s face it-Darnold can’t make the athletic plays Josh makes. He wouldn’t have been nearly as successful as Josh.

Great great win. Better yet, it looks like no injuries.

The race card gets thrown around so freely these days, I think this allegation will come to pass and probably have little impact on his reputation.
They should give him an additional 6 games for being and rabble rousing #######.
Don’t be surprised if they tack something on for lying and trying to ruin a guys reputation.

Yeah...why did this not come out immediately to explain Garrett's actions?
Still doesn’t “explain” his actions. You don’t have the right to assault someone because of something they said.

So if I’ve got this right in the last 11 weeks of regular season football Josh has been AFC Offensive player of the week twice. Not bad!

Maybe we should tell the coaches to run a TE out on a pattern with Allen when we do those designed QB TD runs, that way he can flip it to them in the end zone for a passing TD instead of all these lame running TD's.
Excellent point. That’s why stats in a vacuum are useless. Look at total TD’s to get an accurate picture. The object is to cross the gasoline by whatever means.

7 TDs & only 1 INT, in his last 4 games. 6 of the 7 TDs were in the redzone & 5 were to WRs(All weak points last year). Yeah he's improving.
For comparison...Some are treating Lamar like he's God, he runs a lot I get it, but in his last 4 games he had games of 161 yards, 236 yards, 143 yards & 163 yards with only 2 TDs & 3 INTs. Matter of fact take the Miami game out and he has only 7 TDs & 5 INTs in his other 7 games.
Stop confusing people with facts. Lol.

if the skins weren't playing a rookie QB in his first start we would have been in trouble today lol.
we got our ass smacked by a bang average eagles team last week ppl seem to have forgotten that.
Yet the Browns just got beat by a guy who had never started a game.

Basically Browns will be playing for their lives next weekend, so I hope our players don't take the game lightly like they did vs the Eagles
we could knock them out of the playoff race. a win gives them hope. idc how we win next weekend just get it done.
They’re already out of the Playoff race. They would need to run the table just to get to 10 wins and that isn’t happening.

It's a week to week league. Rarely does a performance from one week carry over to the next.
I’m surprised more people don’t realize this. What you did last week generally has little impact on what happens this week. Different matchups and just the way the ball bounces. How do you explain the Cowboys losing to the Jets and then destroying the Eagles? Chiefs look like world beaters and then lose 2 straight at home. As they say, it’s tough winning in this league.

If that’s the case there’s no way they can play this game. I would hope that after several tested positive that they’d have a little common sense and stay apart, but you never know.
