It depends how they lost and who we lost to. If we lost because we had the same flaws that cause us to lose every January, then yea I'd been concerned that we still haven't addressed key problems. If there were tough bounces in a hard fought loss to high end teams? Not so much.
Frankly, I still feel nervous about our week 1 game against the Ravens, as I feel the game script and results were very similar to the playoff win last year and both times we needed a tremendous amount of luck to bounce our way to get out with a win. Whether or not we won in Week 1 was less interesting to me than the lack of answers we had for their rushing attack.
This time of year, getting better is my primary focus.The Chiefs haven’t even played an away game yet and are winless. This is not a good sign. I can see them having 7 losses this year. May or may not be enough to get into playoffs.

Weird the only thing that decides winners or losers is the score, that’s the entire foundation of sports. But you’re just pissing and moaning because they don’t score the way YOU want to score so therefore it shouldn’t count.
Meanwhile - the highest scoring season in Bills history, a historically great offense, highest scoring team in the AFC reg season, highest scoring team in the AFC playoffs, highest PPG in the AFC playoffs, most total points reg season and playoffs in the NFL, even more than the 2 teams who played an extra game in the SB.
But who cares right, let’s just go back to airing it out with turnover prone Josh where we scored less points and turned the ball over more despite having a top 5 WR. Because that’s what you want to do despite any rhyme or reason to it.

Correct. Many on this thread don’t realize you don’t draft in a vacuum. There are many moving parts and the Bills have timed this just about perfectly.
