  1. Yes, not only is Buffalo a 'big gang town' but, apparently, also murder capital of the world... link
  2. Nah, we just assumed you didn't know Cornell was Ivy League It's the ones who claim they go to 'ivy-league caliber' schools that have that inferiority complex
  3. If Edwards can stay healthy, he should thrive in a no-huddle w/this receiving corps - I would think 5000+ yards and 50 TDs... 19 and 0 baby!!! GO BILLSSS!!!! PosLUSZny!!!!!

  10. I absolutely wanted Brown. Maybin AND Brown would have been awesome. FSU DE Everette Brown Highlights Mike Leach would have picked Brown. Dick Jauron likes D-backs... Jairus Byrd interception in the red zone Jairus Byrd INT in Sun Bowl Bobby April probably likes Byrd too... Jairus Byrd, Punt Return Specialist Jairus Byrd 87 Yard Punt Return TD You Can't Tackle Jairus Byrd After watching those hi-lites, I like Byrd too. But Mike Leach would have picked Brown.

  18. Oh. Thank you. And after whom is Rogers Communications named? Or fail miserably trying. I will have you know that the stadium was renamed "Rogers Centre" following the purchase of the stadium by 'Ted' Rogers Communications in 2005. (Are you implying that you are fine with the name, if only Ralph would die?) My only intention, just in case it's not clear, was to point out that there are buildings, structures, monuments, etc. (think Reagan National Airport) named after living people. (And please don try to 'nail' me by pointing out that Reagan is dead - it was named after him many years before his passing.) My friend, methinks you suffer from a slight case of narcissism - it was not my intention to rebut you specifically. I don't really look to see who authored something before I disagree with them, I didn't know we had a 'recent history', nor do I even remember any recent dialogue between us - apparently there was, and I do apologize if I offended you in any way... GO BILLSSS!!!!
  19. Well, no, actually not... Rogers Centre
  20. Don't misconstrue this comment as a disagreement with you, but... "One got this feeling with JP a lot." ????? Wasn't Losman one of the better ones at fooling the opposing D-line & drawing them offsides with his cadence & snap-count?
  21. Well of course I hope with all my heart that Dick Jauron will prove this season that he's as great an NFL coach as he is a human being, but the whole d-back thing - especially w/Graham Harrell still available in round 7... When I chatted with Tech coach Mike Leach late in the draft, he laughed when I asked for his thoughts about Harrell still being available. Leach, who reiterated his stance that Harrell was the best quarterback in the draft, said he was no more surprised than when Tom Brady slipped to the sixth round. "The truth of the matter is that the NFL drafts quarterbacks notoriously bad," said Leach, pointing to all the late-round and undrafted quarterbacks that have become elite players. "That's indisputable. ... "I don't have an answer for why they don't have a skill for drafting a quarterback. Well, I think the priorities are out of order. Accurate and makes good decisions needs to be a priority, not something they need to teach him, because they don't do that very well. "Arm strength is so overrated. I've got defensive ends with great arm strength, but they aren't accurate. Hey, maybe Brandon Williams can help them at quarterback. He's got a really strong arm." link "The truth of the matter is that the NFL drafts quarterbacks notoriously bad" As a Bills fan, that's a tough one to argue with (Collins, Losman, RJ - yeah I know we didn't draft him, we just gave up a 1st that we woulda used to draft another POS QB). I do think Edwards can be 'accurate and make good decisions' - I just wish it was Leach running the offense instead of Jauron/Schonert. GO BILLSSS!!!!!
  22. Schoop is such a stupid bush-league amateur, he makes Eddie Andelman look like Mensa material. I'd rather listen to NPR than an a-hole trying to piss-off listeners for ratings - TURN HIM OFF - and tune out 'GR for that whole marketing philosophy - they think their listeners are stupid, and are arrogantly confident they can thrive with that format. (They will still survive - there's a plethora of brain-dead morons that will still listen and call in.)
