  1. Full rain suit ad waterproof shoes over 1 less layer than seems appropriate for the temp.  Rain gear doesn’t breath so even if you are cold at first you will be good after the walk to your seat.

    1 word: Goretex.

I have a Goretex parka that is the bomb. You'd want Goretex trousers as well. I even have Goretex boots. Smother yourself in Goretex. Though, it's too late for you to set up this system for Monday night. And it is costly. https://www.ebay.com/b/Military-Gortex-Jacket/57988/bn_7023410187

Alternative, if you can find it: An Army surplus poncho. They are bigger and heavier weight than customary ponchos. They do a good job. There is an Army/Navy store on Transit Road near Main Street, maybe they have them in stock.

    George Costanza agrees wholeheartedly.

If Doyle develops to being a starter at one of the Tackle positions (with S Brown at the other), or the Bills get another starter in the off-season, I would expect they move Dawkins to left guard next season.

By the way, I was excited to see Bates at RG for a few plays, but unfortunately not long enough to make a true assessment--but he did well in his brief appearance before getting injured. And then Douglas came in before Ford returned, and both he and Bates did respectable.

I was excited to see Bates get out there, turns out you can’t keep a guy off the field forever because he’s “so valuable” and throw him in cold.  He was fine for what, 2 plays?

    4 Taron Johnson

    5 Siran Neal

    5 Wyatt Teller

    6 Ray Ray Mc Cloud

    7 Austin Proehl

After listing all these out, it looks like the dude can draft… but you can’t hit them all. :)

    Busts:

2019 Cody Ford.  I wanted DK Metcalf in the first or second round when he was still there.

    Honorable Mention Bust:

Oliver. I wanted Hockenson, but he was taken right before us.

You are finding this as a positive sign?  2018 is good, because Allen worked out.  Edmunds, overdrafted,  Taron Johnson was a nice find as was Teller who he subsequently traded fir a bag of chips, that’s pretty awful.

I mean, what else are you really happy with?

  4. They have to run the ball and mean it, not throw it on tape against the Jets and barely come back to it again.  The O is completely one dimensional and Allen can not do it all.

From the D, stop this stupid rotation and play the game situationally.  If you really think all the guys are interchangeable, then they all must suck.  If you are willing to admit that, fine, but I’m not.  There are guys that are better than others and we constantly watch the 2nd string guys give up big plays in key moments because we act like this is peewee and everyone has to have their turn.

  5. Honestly, I think the better question here is, what players have lived up to where they were drafted? The only one that I can really say yes, is Allen.  I don’t know if it’s him, or the way the coaching staff chooses to use players, because some of that certainly is questionable, but the end result is not good in terms of what they are getting for draft picks.  It’s been ugly, value has not been there at all.

Would you honestly take any of the guys that he drafted in the same position again? Allen is the only one, lets leave this draft off the table because there’s no body of work to really know yet.  Overall, I don’t think anyone would.  It looks possible that Brown was a good 3rd rounder this year, but Boogie is a big no this far and Groot is a question mark, I’m actually still high on him, but I’m sure a lot of people aren’t.

  6. I have been saying for a couple seasons now, McDermott is a good solid leader, but I don’t think he really has what it takes to be a great coach in the NFL.  Personally, I think he’s worried about being liked too much, should’ve fired Frazier, when he had to take over calling the plays during the game. It’s obvious he’s not happy with the O right now, yet nothing is changing, at the end of the day, it’s all on him. So do we believe that he is going to change, or is Time to see somebody that can actually put it all together? I know Sean McVay’s do not grow on trees, but that’s the type of personality we need here.  Unfortunately, I would believe that he is safe, but I don’t believe that he should be.

it's a salary cap league.  when your QB gets paid as much as Allen, you're very unlikely to have an o-line like the Colts.

You do realize Wentz salary cap hit is 2x what Allen’s is, right?  That’s GOT to be the worst excuse I’ve ever heard.

This feels like some hyperbole. I’ve been smacked down for saying this, but most of the best players on this team Beane inherited.

Milano, Hyde, Poyer, Hyde, Hughes, etc.

I’ve long stood that we could have gotten ourselves out of cap help by being a bit more rational. Like waiting a few months to release Dareus, that would have cut his hit in half.

To Beanes credit, he’s long been willing to backtrack on his mistakes like our QB room a few years ago. But this roster seems to be a culmination of mistakes and over allocation of dollars and draft picks to the wrong players. We shall see…

you think this team would have more than 2 wins if MT was playing QB? I don’t.
