Sounds good! I’ll leave it with pointing out that the Trump admin had decreased troop levels to 2,500 before Trump left office: https://www.defense.gov/Newsroom/Releases/Release/Article/2473337/statement-by-acting-defense-secretary-christopher-miller-on-force-levels-in-afg/ And Trump even said Biden couldn’t stop the process: “I started the process,” Trump says. “All the troops are coming back home. They [the Biden administration] couldn’t stop the process.“

DeSantis For President in 2024?

As a chef when you eat out, would you prefer your food to have a moderate risk of giving you food poisoning or a low risk of giving you food poisoning? At least the courts and parents are protecting these kids when their governor failed them. -

You wear a mask and the person wearing the mask next to you and it’s very low risk. Wouldnt you rather have your kids in a very low risk environment instead of a moderate risk environment? These parents that sued DeSantis sure did. And they won! -

It’s about lowering risk. The lowest risk is when you and the people you’re around are masked: -
So we shouldn’t have made an agreement with the Taliban? Who is that on? Which administration did that?
-
The prior administration made it clear you can’t trust the US by doing things like backing out of international agreements. It’s on this administration to change that and part one is keeping the international promises we make. International diplomacy is different than domestic affairs. Domestic affairs change admin to admin but international allies need to rely on relations with the country and not the admin. Biden keeping Trumps international agreements is what should be done for this country to start building standing back in the international community.

Just breath and remember facts are your friends. Parents are literally suing and winning to make sure mask mandates are in place in schools. -
To my knowledge Biden has never gone back on any international agreement. It’s terrible for the US as foreign countries can’t trust the US. It’s a big problem I had with the Trump Admin. How can we have any say internationally if other countries can’t count on the US to stick to it. Biden was right for not changing Trumps negotiated plan.

And you ignore the Trump admin withdrew troop levels to 2,500 while: The United States is committed to start immediately to work with all relevant sides on a plan to expeditiously release combat and political prisoners as a confidence building measure with the coordination and approval of all relevant sides. Up to five thousand (5,000) prisoners of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan which is not recognized by the United States as a state and is known as the Taliban and up to one thousand (1,000) prisoners of the other side will be released by March 10, 2020, the first day of intra-Afghan negotiations, which corresponds to Rajab 15, 1441 on the Hijri Lunar calendar and Hoot 20, 1398 on the Hijri Solar calendar. The relevant sides have the goal of releasing all the remaining prisoners over the course of the subsequent three months. The United States commits to completing this goal. The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan which is not recognized by the United States as a state and is known as the Taliban commits that its released prisoners will be committed to the responsibilities mentioned in this agreement so that they will not pose a threat to the security of the United States and its allies. So when Trump left office we had 2,500 troops on the group while releasing 5,000 taliban.

The United States is committed to withdraw from Afghanistan all military forces of the United States, its allies, and Coalition partners, including all non-diplomatic civilian personnel, private security contractors, trainers, advisors, and supporting services personnel within fourteen (14) months following announcement of this agreement, and will take the following measures in this regard: . I . II A. The United States, its allies, and the Coalition will take the following measures in the first one hundred thirty-five (135) days: 1) They will reduce the number of U.S. forces in Afghanistan to eight thousand six hundred (8,600) and proportionally bring reduction in the number of its allies and Coalition forces. 2) The United States, its allies, and the Coalition will withdraw all their forces from five (5) military bases https://www.state.gov/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Agreement-For-Bringing-Peace-to-Afghanistan-02.29.20.pdf Could be a good idea why don’t we look at the negotiation and see if that was considered. Oh it wasn’t.

source on that other than your feels? Polling right now shows keeping Newsom. And yes saying polls aren’t real are using your feels and not facts. Parents want their kids in masks all day as it keeps them safe. That’s why parents sued DeSantis admin and easily won over an oppressive regime. -
Which overlooks the fact the pull out was part of a negotiation and the troop withdraw all came under that negotiation: https://www.state.gov/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Agreement-For-Bringing-Peace-to-Afghanistan-02.29.20.pdf The United States is committed to withdraw from Afghanistan all military forces of the United States, its allies, and Coalition partners, including all non-diplomatic civilian personnel, private security contractors, trainers, advisors, and supporting services personnel within fourteen (14) months following announcement of this agreement, and will take the following measures in this regard: . Whaley negotiated the contract with Dareus. Was it Beanes fault Dareus end up sucking?

that’s not true. The US troops were pulled out prior to Biden being President and when Biden took over troops were down to 2,500 there: https://www.defense.gov/Newsroom/Releases/Release/Article/2473337/statement-by-acting-defense-secretary-christopher-miller-on-force-levels-in-afg/

DeSantis looking more like Trump. Coming up with totalitarian policies and seeing them being removed by courts: https://www.cnn.com/2021/08/27/us/florida-school-mask-ban-governor-desantis/index.html -
It's Time to Mandate Vaccines
Backintheday544 replied to The Frankish Reich's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
My client hygiene was getting rid of poor performing clients, late paying, low realization, etc. No idea what your babbling on about. Anyone who has had a chance to get vaccinated and hasn’t deserves any negatives that come with it. Like not getting to go to a college they want because the college mandates it, paying more for health insurance, not being able to go places. -

I just went through client hygiene last year dumping people. You should have asked then! Compassion goes out the door after awhile. I have a 5 year old. If she does something wrong, I’m understanding tell her she did whatever wrong and explain why it’s wrong. If I get to the point of telling her 2.000 times what you’re doing is wrong and here’s why, the compassion I had for her mistake the first time is gone. -
Yea the meme was the truth doesn’t mind being questioned. Trumps entire admin hated being questioned. The epitome of that was the tax returns. I guess you could do it with all the other Trump things where Trump or the Trump admin refused to be disposed or provide information. Either way the meme is dumb because it’s antithetical to how Trump/Trump-admin operated.

Backintheday544 replied to The Frankish Reich's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Again I’m not sure you understand what triage is. Outside of that there’s arguments of genetics in addiction vs being an idiot and not getting vaxxed. i work in in high end tax. We’re into client hygiene right now and getting rid crap. Same thing here F them. If you purposely put yourself in a dangerous situation why should you get priority? If you’re Evil Kenevil (I spelled that wrong I’m sure) should a hospital give you priority over other people when you break bones? -

F them. They used their freedom of choice to make a dumb choice. -
It's Time to Mandate Vaccines
Backintheday544 replied to The Frankish Reich's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
its not. You have a set amount of time you can devote to people. Time is a constant that you can’t expand. Triage is about using time as efficiently as possible. If you have 2 Covid cases where both could die, you take the person who is vaxxed over unvaxxed because it’s a better use of time. Choices have consequences. -

Why? If a doctor tells you hey don’t stick you fingers in an outlet and you do, why should they prioritize you over someone who just randomly got hurt.
