    Something needed to be done. I don’t follow the beane walks on water crowd at all. However I have to give him props for addressing the problem, with youth as opposed to washed veteran retreads. They got bigger on the front end, faster at cb, and younger. Got to give the man credit. I hope it pays off.

    I will say if he and Oliver can generate pressure up the middle on pass downs, this defense could be lethal.

    A little more palatable, but still an awful lot to give up. Guess we don’t want to get bigger up front. Alfred Collins next to ed Oliver would have looked nice.

    The problem is I don’t see any team giving that much capital. And if that’s the case, then that should be your sign that he is not a top three rb worth 15 million a year.

    Can’t disagree. He is talented. Just wish he would shut his mouth and go out and ball. The bills have demonstrated that they will take care of their own. Guess I’m burnt out from the diggs drama. With his brother (Dalvin) chirping in his ear, if he threatens to hold out I hope Beane trades him.

    God I hope not. Dude had one great season. Hardly enough to justify. Do it again quietly this season, and I could see it. Quietly being the key word.

    And then take Ashton Jeanty and use the rest of early day picks on defense. Kid is going to be a monster.

    True. If he has another season like this past season I would have zero issue with paying him 12 mill a year.

    Sorry but an 870 yd rushing average in three years should not equate to a 12 to 15 million year salary. The body of work just isn’t there.

    This is the year to do what the rams did a few years ago and trade the draft picks for bonafide players that will help. If you want to beats the chiefs, waiting for rookies to develop is not going to get it done.
