  1. If we lose to a rookie quarterback at home we’re in trouble
  2. Turns out this is just a good game between 2 somewhat evenly matched teams
  3. Well, we’ve reached the weekly portion of the game where it seems like we’re going to let the other team back in it.
  4. It was a calculated risk. I’ve engaged in a few interactions about this topic on the message board; this wasn’t some random play call. they game planned it and the/a situation they wanted to try it happened. I get what the risk cost them, but it seems like many posters on here WAY overvalue the risk/cost in the cost benefit analysis of that play. Didn’t they beat us with a blocked punt last year?
  5. Some writers talk about players responding positively to coaches showing they are doing everything they can to win. Examples of this are going for it on fourth down, going for 2, or running gadget plays. Obviously this is an intangible/unquantifiable factor. While the pats might not have recovered the onside kick, they seemed to play well the rest of the game.
  6. He took a risk, it didn’t work in his favor. The game didn’t hinge on that play.
  7. It’s a calculated risk. think he might have felt his team needed to make something like that or a blocked punt happen to win?
