Brady didn't do all that DESPITE bill belichick. He did it TO SPITE bill belicheck. He's the michael jordan of football.
Also, NE wasn't gonna get a 7th with Brady. That TB team he went to was a juggernaut, and everybody knew what was coming.

So... a Head Coach?
good point🧐. but i do think McDermott is a good "leader of men" as they say. just needs a little help with analytics in the heat of the moment. An Ernie Adams type.
And like many others, I do worry about the offensive coordinator turnover that is inevitable whenever Allen is at his best. i think that is my biggest gripe with McD, overall. Not his fault. It's just a reality. Josh is our biggest asset.

McD has been excellent as a d coordinator. if anything he just needs a right hand man to keep him out of his own way at really crucial times. a trusted voice for 13 seconds, or somebody he trusts that would have told him how dumb the second straight zero blitz against Denver was

Watt didn't say anything with an ounce of substance there.

Love Gunner but I have no idea where he is coming from with this punt stuff.
Punting from the 31 yard line, with very little wind, would have been universally panned. The only reason it’s even second guessed is because it was blocked.
Imagine if the punt went into the endzone and we gained a whole 11 yards on the punt!
And a few drives later the Steelers drove from their own 8 yard line and scored a TD. Yet we are to believe that punting there would have stopped them? I’m skeptical.
Not true. I second guessed it the second I saw Bass run onto the field. Giving the steelers the ball on the 40 with 2:30 to go was not a sound decision. Bass hasn't been good on those kicks in good conditions. His chances were definitely less than 50% as it was.

I blame McDermott for that decision too. I often defend him when fans shout about being aggressive. This isn't Madden, sometimes the right decision is the conservative one. The right decision yesterday was to punt. Kickers were struggling going that way, Bass hasn't made one from 49 or longer in literally months, and you are 21-0 up with 2 minutes of the half to play against Mason Rudolph. Pooch punt, try and pin them. Do not give them a chance at a momentum changing play.
I wouldn't have hated going on 4th down.... but if that was in their minds they had to run on 2nd or 3rd down and try and make it 4th and 4 or 5. The FG was the worst of the three options.
Overall though, Bass is a concern. I don't think he has been fully healthy all year, I think it is now in his head and his confidence is low. Wouldn't want to rely on him.
yes. the bills should have been playing 4 down football when they got to the 32. The deep pass on 3rd and 7 was a huge mistake. and bass should have never been trotted out there under any circumstance. I would have been okay with a punt or going for it there.
I didn't assume the disaster that did occur, but i was definitely thinking we were handing the ball to the steelers on the 40.

Good for Von, and it really did look like Rudolph threw the ball. That's as big of a pump as you are gonna get without fumbling or letting it slip and throwing a ridiculous looking incomplete pass

wow. hope they take card. how many people carry around that kind of cash?

Sirianni sure seemed to have it together last year. what's the deal with these PHilly coaches who are great one year, and a lump of coal the next?
-
McD and Tomlin are very similar, and i think their respective fan bases have many of the same complaints about each of them.

Nothing against Nance but Harlan is the best play by play guy. I would like him paired with romo.
you could argue that harlan is better than nantz, but nantz and romo have a good thing going together. nantz should get to go out with that team if he wants.
-
i love that romo analyzes why a play went wrong, he scrutinizes reviews well, and why a penalty was or wasn't called. and he calls what he sees, for better or worse. as far as josh goes, ya he loves him. if you aren't a bills fan you are definitely complaining about the way he slobbers all over him.

they should have been able to get in for a saturday practice, if that was part of the original plan.
what time was it on saturday that the game was officially moved to Monday?

I’m more concerned about the team’s preparation if they get by today.they should have no problem getting to the field house. doesn't sound like we are going to get hit half as hard as we did this weekend. but then again, lake effect is very unpredictable.

Agree, but Terry is cheap, so....don't think that'll be happening.
if 80% of the seats are under cover, this shouldn't be nearly the problem that it is in the current situation.

lol snow plows are gonna be anywhere near residential. they are all digging out the stadium!

that sucks. good luck with a bar. i know they were able to call ahead and get peacock for businesses, but likely only very sports minded bars would be on top of that.
amazon being regular, has a dedicated channel for bars and restaurants, so that should never be a problem.

Screw the NFL. I already got and used Peacock once because I had to. I’m traveling and in a hotel so I think I may miss the Dolphins freezing their asses off. If the NFL does not think enough of their product to be sure it’s available to regular people, I’m not sure how much I should care. I’ve tried, and tried, and it’s STILL not good enough. This is getting like a high maintenance girl - just not worth it.
P.S. - Watching on my phone is not an acceptable answer for a game in which the Bills are not playing….and even then 🤷♂️
EDIT: The guide says I will see something called Deal or No Deal on NBC instead. I don’t know what that is because it’s on NBC which I haven’t gotten at the house in I don’t know how long due to their dispute with my provider. Helluva business plan they are running making it impossible for people to see their programming.
.
can't you watch peacock on a hotel tv?

the nfl is only about finding more sources of revenue.
do you all think we are in london because it makes a better product? LA for that matter as well. the amount of money fans are willing to throw away to go to a game is just disgusting and pathetic.
this 6 dollars is the last thing i care about. it's no different than when they started doing games on the nfl network when so many people didn't have that as an option. in fact, the nfl network thing was worse, because we didn't have a $6 option to get it even if we wanted it.

Here is the best thing with new new stadium if you are on the leading edge of the open seats it will be a river of water coming done on you FYI the Phil game 2 years ago No one will want to be in those rows. And when the snow dumps off from the wind people will be faltened
for a bazillion dollars you'd think they'd have drainage and snow melting capabilities to avoid all that.

So what is the snow situation for this week's game?

for what we are paying for a stadium that doesn't have a roof, doesn't seem like we got any kind of a lower cost for having it there. my gosh, the raiders built their palace for 1.9!
