  1. I forgive him, and if I thought we'd be better with him, I'd take him back in a heartbeat. But a tiger doesn't change it's stripes at this point in the game. Even if the intentions are there. you just can't turn that off, without turning it all the way off. And then there's the ACL.

  2. i agree it's more about the talent. But to those who say "well, we had teh no. 2 offense."

our no.2 offense is kind of like those top 5 defenses we had. Don't get me wrong, our offense is not falling apart in the playoffs the way our defneses do.

but it's similar in that they are still missing something. Those guys who can give you the Madden type plays on demand are pretty useful when the chips are down in big moments. It's something different than just being able to chip away with a workman like 30 per game.

This really wasn't so long ago.  Head coach and QB had issues.  QB and star receiver had issues.  The team basically quit down the stretch of 2023.  I expect a little bit more from a supposed top two coach.

well that's interesting because Sirianni has very high marks from his locker room in the NFLPA survey. Scored an A in the survey that was released in Feb 2024. Of course, who knows when the survey was taken. Possibly before the 23 season.

It is a great roster and two great coordinators. All of which are Howie Roseman (who has total control of player personnel and made both coordinator hires over his HC's head last February).

I am not saying Sirianni stinks. But honestly, I think he was one of the least consequential Head Coaches to a Superbowl winner in my 20 odd years watching the sport. This was a Howie Roseman Superbowl win.

Sirianni knows his place and he knows he has a good deal going. There's something to be said for Being smart enough to stay out of your own way.

He’s from Jamestown too, wish we had him…

He wouldn't be anything working with Beane. WHat he does works because he is with an organization that knows how to get great players, and he has excellent coordinators with full autonomy.

We might be better if McDermott gave a high level d coordinator full autonomy to run his own defense...not a McD inspired soft defense.

  6. Maybe Keon will pull an Eric Moulds and take a massive step forward. Put in the work to find balls and get in the weight room and make some angry run highlights. look at some highlight videos of Moulds and see how many plays he makes within arms length of the defender. And He was a huge disappointment his first 2 years.

but right now, we lost this one. And the trajectory Moulds had is somewhat rare. maybe we'll all be pleasantly surprised next year. A big ole chip on that shoulder can go a long way for some guys.

  7. Allen sitting out the last week while Baltimore was playing for a seed in that week skewed perspectives too hard. people see only one more win for Buffalo, but in reality it should have been 2 more wins. And in any case it was 2 less losses for Josh. that matters. That's not even to mention the extra stats Lamar got from playing that week. The running TDs matter. The total turnovers matter. And yes, the idea of Lamar being up 3-0 in the MVP count matters. Turn off the tv. I'm not watching any of the stuff, and don't need to see the clips. The Oishei's video is the only thing ive watched related to this. GREAT enough for me.

Don't let anyone talk you into Josh not deserving this. HE 100% DOES.

    GO BILLS!
