  1. spot on. people are going to see what harbaugh does with the chargers over the next 5 years, and it isn't gonna make the people here very happy. we are settling. josh might be able to will us to one or two before he's done. it will be despite the coach though.

ill reiterate. mcdermott is good. not great. not the right coach for allen.

The Chiefs won because they have the better coach, QB and defense which was validated yet again in this latest matchup. They are also the defending world champions playing in their 6 straight AFCCG. Why people choose to over analyze the situation is a frivolous waste of time

Also I think the injury excuse is tiresome at this point as well especially when it's already been pointed out that when a healthy Milano, White, etc has played in these games the result has been exactly the same. The issue that does need to be addressed though is this regimes persistent drafting of undersized, injury prone players (mostly on defense which is no coincidence). I think you also have to clean house with the training/strength and conditioning staff at this point as well.

nah. if we had the better defense, allen out plays Mahomes, and then it is just as easy to say we are better in all 3 of those areas, just because ONE of our phases was better.

  3. difficult to have any confidence in his ability to return to form last year. we have seen with both von and Tre that they are not back to their best after 12 months. Von looked a lot better against the chiefs, but he was useless for most of the season, and probably still only 80 to 90% now. and this is something like 14 months post injury. Tre took somewhere between 15-20 months to get IT back.

Peyton would finish a game without a bruise, Josh runs over linebackers, they are not the same. Dungy was another lousy coach who brought the Colts to the same amount of Super Bowls as Jim Caldwell.

a couple nice guys, but i agree. maybe dungy was a good coach, but not a difference maker when it's best vs best. he's probaby pretty close to what McD is.

  5. 6-8 weeks ago, i didn't think we'd get floyd back. now i think we should only take him back for the same or even less. haven't seen much of him lately. 1 sack in the last 8 weeks. none in the last 5.

how much money is 10 sacks in the first half of the season worth?

  6. i have seen less people talking about him than McD, Diggs, and play calling. there will always be a few crazy people out there. overall, i think few of us were surprised, shocked, or deeply angered at him for missing. We already had the discussion about Bass being mediocre in the aftermath of  the blocked kick last week.

I think the majority acknowledge we need to move on from him.

I was fine at kickoff with McD too...but honestly, just think this team may need some new blood and new life to break through the mental lapses where we lose late and close games.

Brady is the OC - How is that on McD?  This comment doesn't make sense to me.

Stupid call, but aggressive which is what everyone always say they want from him while they ignore he is actually one of the most aggressive coaches in the NFL.

Play it safe?  Again, Brady calls the O and more importantly how is a 73 yard bomb to Diggs playing it safe?  How is a 29 yard pass to the endzone for Shakir playing it safe?  Where did he play safe for a FG?  I don't get this comment at all, its like the polar opposite of what actually happened.  Again, not trying to defend McD, just really not understanding the reasons you are giving here.

And I am not even trying to defend McD as I would take BB, Harbaugh or Vrabel today if they were ready to come here too.  But just don't get some of these complaints above in relation to McD yesterday outside maybe the stupid punt fake.

Brady's offense is a reflection of what mcdermott is asking him to do. it's this "complimentary football" nonsense. basing so many of our calls on burning clock instead of going with highest percentage plays from down to down. ESPECIALLY when you are losing. and the fake punt was incredibly stupid. people understand being aggressive. but asking DAMAR HAMLIN to make a play is a non-starter.

  8. Allen wasn't even allowed to execute a passing offense last night. They spent the entire first half throwing screens and running, to keep the chiefs off the field because of our porous defense. It worked. THey kept doing it in the third and some into the fourth when it was well past expiration. Allen never even got a chance to cook. and a couple times when he balled out, he was failed by a 30 million dollar receiver and our very nice guy left tackle who i don't want to say anything bad about, because it's not like he got beat up all night. just the one time when he needed him not to.

I have BIG issues with Sherfield and his pathetic season, was the 2 mil for his charity or something?.  We now only have 1 WR in Shakir.  Beane missed big time at WR this past offseason.  I blame him for yet again neglecting to help Josh enough.  Imagine if he would of signed DeAndre Hopkins.

Sherfield is what you get when you go BARGAIN hunting and spend 1.7 million. that is reclamation project money.

  10. i think allen was right to go to a wide open shakir there. he hits that 80% of the time without the pressure being there. question is, should josh have felt the pressure and moved away from it?

or was the blocking so bad there that he wouldn't have anticipated it breaking down like that?

This does not even register on my pain meter.

that's called being jaded. which sucks. i wasn't even mad tonight to be honest. just deflated. it's a feeling ive had after only a few bills losses. not angry. just mentally and emotionally defeated. i feel like Eeyore.

I'm freaking almost 50. The just once before I die just gimme 1. First it was hating the cowboys then out own management now it's the f?*÷@[ng Chiefs. I'm sick of this feeling I'm tired of losing. I need to save my sanity.

i would be done if i could be. and if they didn't have allen i could probably walk away. they will suck me back in next year. they always do. and you'll be with me op. probably.

You haven't gone to a Bills game in 20 years either

I'm glad this was a success. I don't have cable and I live in an apartment where antennas don't work. I all for everything to go to streaming.

voted you up. im not in your shoes, but i understand this POV, and I definitely understand that the young people out there are far more likely to stream than watch on cable. this is the wave of the future. right now, i can stream every bills game, except those on espn and fox. and its been said that espn will be offered through streaming in the next year or two.

  14. Lucas Oil field: 750 million. under 1b in today's dollars. has a roof. was deemed nice enough to host a SB and several final fours.

I'm surprised. I never had that and the seat I bought was open when I arrived before kickoff.

so clearly some sections were a little bit of a free for all, and others weren't. probably differed whether in a section with bleachers versus seats. and most likely everybody had to at least sit in their own section. at least to start the game.
