Schefter: Von to resume practicing this week
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is huge. I really hope we can get past the Fins tomorrow. If not we’ll need Von even more. I’d rather Buffalo not be so desperate in the win column so they can ease him in the rotation slowly. -
Week 4, Bills favored by 3 over Dolphins

The calm before the storm. Did anybody know Robbie Anderson from the fins changed his name to Robbie Chosen ? 😅 wth -

There’s no guarantee we win the division. We need our best players on the field asap. -
The 2nd post on that thread is pretty logical which surprised me. Glad there are some rational fans left. Honestly, this game could go either way and I wouldn’t be shocked if the Bills win or lose. I have to remind myself it’s a 17 game season and not to ride too high on wins or too low on losses. It’s gonna be a slug fest. I live for these divisional matchups though bc they are always entertaining. Sometimes it’s boring blowing mediocre teams out every week. I wanna see what the Bills are made of.

I’m not saying throw him out there on Sunday. More like slowly ease him in. I’m not even sure it’s a good idea. Just thought it was interesting one from another poster
-
You mean convert him to safety? That would be interesting. Aaron Williams of the Bills was drafted very high as well. After a lackluster first 2 seasons, they moved him to safety where he did pretty well.
-
Preseason? We talking bout preseason?

I love Cooks running style. Super smooth cuts and no wasted movements. He is averaging over 6 yards per carry. They better keep feeding him this year. Let Murray & Harris get the end zone/short yardage plays, but anything between the 20s should go to Cook. I think he’ll have about 1200 yards 5 TDs by the end of the year.
-
When has been Poyer been exposed this year or allowed a TD? I want a specific play. I’m not talking about a 12 yard reception.
-
11 catches for 72 yards spread across 3 games. Remind me to grab this guy off the waiver wire for my fantasy team. All jokes aside, Kincaid will get his, but Dawson Knox is still the best TE on this team
-
I don’t recall anybody getting past Poyer in coverage or getting burnt over the top. Safeties have done a great job of keep everything in front of them. Guy is going into his 12th year so of course he’s gonna lose some speed, but he’s got amazing instincts and is almost always in the right place.
-
Poyer never had issues against Miami in the past. Not sure why people think our ALL PRO safety is suddenly a liability. No offense to Damar Hamlin, but he is not good.
-
Bills just dropped 38 & 37 points consecutively. Are people really complaining? Do we need to score 70 points this week? Give Kincaid a little time. We aren’t even a quarter of the way thru the season yet.

Week 4, Fish v. Bills - Predict the Score

London Fletcher was a beast. My favorite player growing up. Hurt so bad when he went to Washington. I cried. Went on to have 7 more very productive seasons. Anyway… Bills W 34-27 in OT -
Big Baller Bass - AFC Special Teams Player of the Month
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to The Wiz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bass is perfect on the season. His clutch factor is so underrated along w/ his power. When we absolutely need a FG, I am always confident he makes it. Even better that he is a home grown draft pick. Beane deserves credit on this one. Kickers are football players too -
By playing them physical they are risking a huge play. If Tyreek breaks free then he’s gone. Usually i HATE this philosophy, but Buffalo needs to play slightly back and keep everything in front of them. Let Tua dink & dunk his way into field goals. Send an occasional blitz their way. This is only assuming the front 4 is playing good. At least this what I think McDermott is planning to do.
-
I hope McDermott drills that idea into the heads of every defensive lineman. Tua has a very quick release and sacks aren’t going to come easy like last week.

They need to keep everything in front of them and clamp down in the red zone. Make Miami kick FGs all day.
