Ah yes, the hypocrisy of the racist northern states
VABills replied to VABills's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Thanks. -
Actually the video picks up right after the glance and he just happened to luck into an alibi by helping the other person down. Again, who cares. I'd worry more if he was checking out Nicks ass. Not that there is anything wrong with it.

So you make ignorant statements with no facts and you call me clueless. Just because you live in guarded circles and the only time you went out of it in the south you were offended doesn't make it true. -

Deb, When I was listening to this on the news getting dressed today, they had a bunch of the folks not wanted back being interviewed. they said folks in the club where saying things like "I don't want that black kid rubbing against me" and "I paid money here so I don't have to swim with them". Either the club is being racist, or the people being interviewed were being "reverse racist" and trying to get sympathy on their side. -

One Of The Funniest Movie Scenes Ever!!
VABills replied to Steely Dan's topic in Off the Wall Archives
The bug up the ass removal scene in Evolution is one of the funniest scenes in a movie. very mediocre movie, but there are some pretty good scenes and one-liners to keep it enjoyable. -
It's more than that. It's also coming here and being productive. Opening the borders, letting in 200 million folks would be havoc. When people came to this country 100 years ago, they were looking for freedom and work. Too many folks are coming here now for welfare, food stamps and free health care.

Abortion. How much is given by charities to help defray medical costs of mothers who otherwise would have abortions? How much in legal costs to help with adoptions. If people didn't give 50% of their money to the government for forced giving to entitlement programs, then maybe more money would be available for giving. How many homeless and food shelters are run by limo liberals and hollywood types? Oh thats right most/all are run by religious groups. How many orphanages are run by the government? Most aren't most are run by religious folks. Religious hospitals? Plenty. How would the limo libs and hollywood types feel about having the dregs of society show up and sit next to them in a waiting room at their ritzy hospitals. They don't. You sit there and criticize but you don't open your eyes to the wealth of good done by folks who give money and could give more. Who bring food to the shelters, who care for the sick, volunteer, etc... You need to really look around and see the good that is being done, and what more could be done if people could direct their giving to organizations who can better use it rather than hire hundreds/thousands of government scabs who do nothing to the process of helping. Then paying more taxes to help fund someones earmarks rather than where it is better used.

Infrastructure improvements are already paying off!
VABills replied to Beerball's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Everywhere except DC, with all the folks Obamarama is hiring as advisors, consultants, their staff etc... , none of which are required to go through confirmations. I guess it really did pay to work in a campaign, get some free coin for you and friends. No real requirement to produce and no oversite. not a bad gig for a few months of slimming yourself. -
Do they get a bailout since they obviously will have to toss out the chocolate with the body? Wouldn't want a chocolate company going bankrupt, TARP for candy.

They're just adding the human touch to their chocolate.

So falling out of favor, means that you must try to bring everyone else down to your level? Lucifer was an entity that did the same many years ago. Still does as a matter of fact.

You sure seem to comment a lot in a thread that is all about Catholic doctrine, which BTW is not Christion Conservatism.

Why don't you actually read what the Pope said: http://www.vatican.va/holy_father/benedict...eritate_en.html He actually does not call for unions but rather that business and government should look to helping the individuals only enough to be fruitful. Not to give them a welfare state. He says people lose their desires and creativity if they are given too much. The Pope also demands an end to abortion and forced sterilizations. Pretty easy for the media and you liberals to leave that piece out. It's actually a good read, and goes into while people need to be helped, individual advancements and rewards should not be stymied, but should be offset by helping the poor and needy. It also says that while he is seeking folks to do these things he is demanding governments and organizations do not use it as a means to correupt the process and bring down the whole establishment, and your ilk desires.

Seems like you only quote him when you can manipulate his words and meaning and refuse to acknowledge everything else he says. Also written about his new writing: "This understanding of charity frames the whole thing," said Terrence W. Tilley, chair of Fordham University's theology department. "Charity is not simply giving money away. Charity is love. It is God's love that makes the world go around, makes the universe tick. Our human work has to reflect that love." Other great Catholic quotes, including one from the Pope: ''The various forms of the dissolution of matrimony today, like free unions, trial marriages and going up to pseudo-matrimonies by people of the same sex, are rather expressions of an anarchic freedom that wrongly passes for true freedom of man," Pope Benedict XVI Not all moral issues have the same moral weight as abortion and euthanasia. There may be legitimate diversity of opinion even among Catholics about waging war and applying the death penalty, but not… with regard to abortion and euthanasia. Pope Benedict XVI The greatest destroyer of peace is abortion because if a mother can kill her own child, what is left for me to kill you and you to kill me? There is nothing between. Mother Teresa

I see no problem with what the Pope says. he is looking for more personal responsibility from individuals and the companies they run. No where did he demand the US government get involved and tax the living crap out of their people to pay for it. he also called on the UN to stop being a corrupt entity and actually do what they were put together to do. this has been the Catholic message for years.

Ummm.... NO. Jones if he didn't have two bad knees may have gone into the history books as one of the best QB's ever. The guy took a pounding and was flat out the best player at the position for about a 3-4 year run.

Joe Biden says BO miscalculated on the economy
VABills replied to Magox's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
So what I don't get, and yes I am sticking up for both Bush and Obama, but why are we blaming either of these idiot for the current economic issues. Seems like the whole world is a cluster !@#$. IMHO, the policies coming forth as of late will have long term bad effects, but short term, it sems like everything hit the crapper a year and a half ago.
