  1. Both named "Big Mike".
  2. Go learn to read moron. You have no clue if you are not aware of his personal situation. And the movie doesn't get it right. From Draft analysis: Negatives: Only has three years experience at left tackle and is still learning the game. A better pass protector than power run blocker, as he does not consistently get great push off the edge. Needs more consistency in using his punch, which can be devastating against rush ends. Can be beaten in pass protection by quicker hands. Loses balance at times when lunging in pass pro. A bit tentative in the open field at times. Gets a bit lazy moving his feet when the play is run away from him and could stand to gain more stamina. Does not always adjust to outside blitzes, but handles inside pressure just fine. Has a very quiet, passive demeanor that some may characterize as lacking passion. Some concerns about how he'll acclimate to a new environment if he's drafted by a team geographically distant from his adopted family.
  3. There was way too many concerns about Oher. He is / was a mommies boy based on his whole background. Plenty was written up about it predraft as Denver badly wanted to draft him, but didn't because they weren't sure if he would bolt on them. It was expected that really they only place that could/should draft him was tennesee and everyone else was taking a big chance based on predraft interviews and psycho-analysis. Turns out Bmore hit the big one there, but it was a risky pick, with his background.
  4. And in his career, Fitz has 23 starts. 8 wins, 1 tie and 14 losses Brohm, has 1 start, 0 wins, 0 ties, and 1 loss Edwards has 30 starts, 14 wins, 0 ties and 16 losses. Seems to me the win percent is: Fitz - 36.9 Brohm - 0 Edwards - 46.7 Also, Fitz - 5 years experience Brohm - 2 years experience Edwards - 3 years experience You know none of these guys have shown much, but I would let the next Head coach make the call on who he thinks he can develop and groom, rather than a bunch of Madden playing internet fatties and money grubbing front office geeks.
  5. Because you must all fall in line. When the Nazi (I mean liberal) party talks you should not dispute what they say.
  6. Based on what? He was terrible. He couldn't even make the emergency Qb for GB. What have you seen with your wonderful, NFL knowledgable eyes that everyone else is missing.
  7. I don't know who it was. I can speculate being in the DC area who it was. But this may also be the problem when fans who tend to be very vocal, loud and obtuse think they know more than NFL coaches.
  8. Can't do that at work, and can't get that in my car driving to lunch.
  9. The sports writers didn't say it. They were repeating whoever the candidate the Bills spoke with said.
  10. They have talked on the phone with quite a few guys, trying to gauge interest.
  11. Well whoever they radio guys were talking to, seemed to think Trent should be the long term starter. But the FO said No.
  12. They implied that TO was pretty much all the front office gave Trent and that the Front office was done with him becuase they believe that's what the fans "want". Whoever this person they talked to was seemed to have liked what he saw from Trent and the front office told the candidate that there was no way they would allow that dog to show again. This was used as one example, but from what they said, this was very typical of how the front office is working and not letting coaches grow and groom there own choices.
  13. I was listening to the local sports guys in DC over lunch. They mentioned the issue is with how the Bills have treated coaches and players over the last 10 years. they specifically mentioned Trent Edwards. Seems some coaches they interviewed have mentioned they like Trent and want him as the starter, but the front office seems to be listening to the fan base and doing everything to corrupt Trents career and run him out of Buffalo, rather than give him the tools he needed to succeed. Seems whoever in the front office has already told whoever this coach was that his job will be to develop whatever Qb the FO feels will be the leader of the future.
  14. It's not like he had a squirt gun or a dog in Jersey.
  15. Choosing from a limited batch of wines at the world market. Where are you? In Buffalo? Go to Premiere. In this area, I can get the Clos du Bois for around 8 bucks a bottle, so that is actually kind of pricey,
  16. Clos du Bois is good, but.... they have always had a cork problem. Seems like 1 out of three bottles tends to be vinegar from them. I eally like their Pinot Noir. Beyond that don't know or have nothing good to say about the rest. There are some very good wines that can be had for under 15 bucks that you don't need to resort to this.
  17. She has it handled just like they planned.
  18. Lynch is Travis Henry part Deux. Hard straight ahead runner. No vision for holes. Can't catch well. No blocking. Lots of off field legal problems. Travis had more babies though.
  19. A cousin pays 3000 for a 900 SF apartment in Manhatten. Her apartment seems smaller than my bedroom.
  20. And since USC is already paying their players, one game plan, and they can play Saturday and Sunday.
  21. Lori and Tim are going to kick your ass. (Sorry Tim, Lori has been here longer).
  22. I see the Buffalo Bills as the bad news bears. Except I don't see a buttermaker coming in.
  23. they don't play in Hawaii
