Easy. A lot of the right, and I prefer conservative thank you, tend to be strong military or in my case military, who basically thinks Kerry needs to STFU. While he served, it had to have been the shortest honorable tour in the history of the world, and as soon as he returned he did nothing but rake his fellow military members over the coals in testimony to basically just prop himself up, in a run for political office. Foley sends a few inappropriate emails to a couple of pages, he apologizes, quits and is undergoing couseling but it still is going. Neither was illegal, and one is obviously more hideous, however, one went away, and still the media, and everyone continued talking about it for a month. You expect this fiasco to go away in a day, when he basically called everyone in Iraq stupid and continues to give aid and comfort to the enemies cause. Again man had nothing to do with those forests going away. Years ago the plans also were forest but with the mountains it changed weather patterns, and now more grassy plains then forests.
