  1. Yes. This way TT gets hurt, since he is a china doll running QB. Then Cassel can be the savior.
  2. Until they prove otherwise - The Bills 1. unproven QB, with a bad backup QB and an even worse one playing 3rd string 2. unproven Offensive line 3. Questionable depth on defense 4. Starting CB out 5. LBers are very concerning 6. Several key players on offense are just a straw from going nuts (Mccoy, Haven, Woods) 7. Lots of injuries 8. Rex hasn't done much for a while and already proving to act like his psycho self in NYC
  3. With the starting RB suspended. With pretty much a bad team around him. But the QB is the only one responsible? I am not saying Cassel is a great or even good QB. I am saying he is better than EJ. I for one am so glad that TT is our starter,
  4. And did EJ get a first down on every drive? Actually EJ had the worst down and out of all three QB's during preseason. Again those pesky stats.
  5. http://www.vikings.com/media-vault/videos/Matt-Cassel-Highlights/e39e6dc1-775c-41d6-9629-9dee28b8acab Look at 1:27 of this video. Actually watch the whole video and tell me when EJ has ever made those throws? Or run like that. Bombs to wide open players against third stringers is great. But how's about in regular season.
  6. He had an 8 yard gain. That was as long as EJ's longest run in 4+ games last year. Way to prove my point.
  7. So Cassel actually has gotten better at running as he got older, not worse. Way to even prove that EJ is a worse runner than Cassel. Which he is actually.
  8. Link? I show statistical proof, in his athletic numbers, actual stats and yet you and other prove to ignore. EJ is a statue compared to Cassel. EJ cannot run the offense that TT runs, and neither can Cassel, because neither has his speed, elusiveness, nor other intangibles. But Cassel is more athletically gifted with the legs than EJ is. You guys do know that Cassel really played very little in collage and was a backup QB ala Frank Reich. He actually played multiple positions including TE and WR in college.
  9. Houston made him a contract offer for more than Buffalo, but with escalators he could make most of his 4.1 million back.
  10. So we only pick the games you want to include. Let's not include the careers of these players. For example you but a weird face on Cassels longest of 6 but ignore that EJ's longest was 8 last year. Or Cassel's longest is 23 in his career but EJ is 19. In that game 3 of those could have been downing ball where you lose a yard each time. Not a sack, but a rush for -1 yard. How's about EJ has 4 fumbles in 14 games but Cassel only had 2 in his first 14 games?
  11. Actually they saved 3 million on the base part of Cassel's contract. If they can trade EJ that's another almost 3 million in savings over then 2 seasons. Maybe Dareus can be re-signed at that point.
  12. No. I want our QB's to do well. While at times EJ looked good there was times he looked bad. Just like Cassel. but the fact that the QB coach is saying this shouldn't inspire any one to have confidence if EJ is playing. When you're own QB coach basically says he was never in consideration for starting should tell anyone with any common sense all they need to know.
  13. That isn't a ringing endorsement for EJ. When your QB coach doesn't even say that EJ was close to be in the running.
  14. Actually you can't. There are rules about trading for a player after you cut him during a season.
  15. It's actually true. Look it up. Cassel averages 3.8 yards carry. EJM averages 3.4 Also, his combine numbers were a lot closer to TT than they were to EJM who looked like Tom Brady by the numbers.
  16. I am sure that EJ who is 10 pounds heavier than last also is no where near his combine numbers from 3 years ago. Again, Cassel is less of a statue than EJ. Not saying EJ is TT or RG3 but he is better running than Ej ever has been.
  17. No, EJM actually has worse numbers from an athletic standpoint than Cassel. Common falicy that was typed here and all believe. Just because EJ ran in college, doesn't mean he is capable in the NFL.
  18. The Buffalo Bills did. This line of thinking means we are rooting for the worst and most disorganized team in league.
  19. Rodak is an idiot. He lists Carpenter as still a possibility and surviving , but doesn't list Gay. I suspect there might be some trade implications which is why the other 4 not named yet.
  20. I am not upset that EJ is an option. If he can play better in regular season that is great. But in two seasons he is a nice Losman. While Losman was a jackass, EJ is great guy. But neither has shown any consistency or pocket awareness. If Roman and Lee have EJ ready to go when real bullets are firing, than great.
  21. Fred hasn't signed with anyone yet. Maybe coming back to coach under Rex?
