Just read some of the initial reaction to Bernard. Marino hated the pick. A solid D. Who is this guy? Should have been a 6th rounder. What are they playing at? Garbage etc. This is why knee jerk over reactions to draft picks are always to be taken with a pinch of salt. It's fun though!

Yeah, I watched his gauntlet and it's very impressive how fast he moves in it and how the ball seems to stick in his mitts. All the stuff about separation is worrying, I won't lie, but I do like his pure catching ability, size and strength, should be a good red zone target who can go up for jump balls against physical dbs

I love the idea of going WR in round 1 and again in round 4. If possible I'd like Beane to package some picks and get into the 3rd round for another recover instead of waiting until rd 4. I'm also willing to bet if this happens the 2nd WR selected will end up having a better career than the rd 1 guy.
