  1. I think you're insane. Won't lie though, some pee pee just dribbled out when I thought about it happening
  2. It's funny, earlier I was listening to Chris Simms talking about the rookie QBs and saying how great some of them looked. For some reason I started thinking about Peterman and how good he looked in that preseason game against the Panthers, where I recall he was decisive, accurate, totally in control. First game of the regular season and he looked like *****
  3. Instead of throwing the ball, has he tried hitting it to his receivers with one of these?
  4. The local news team caught up with Zay as he was leaving the building but he declined to comment
  5. Excellent first post of the season. I was hoping you'd sit this one out so as to not risk injuring one of your typing fingers but now that it's over I'm glad you did it
  6. I'm just posting to bump the thread count
  7. It's worrying but don't forget there's an off week between preseason game 3 and the season starting, so he has that extra week to get up to speed (I say this because I just assumed the regular season began the week after due to the 17 week schedule, didn't even check it)
  8. I've seen them all (youtube has some nice "every play by..." videos for each of them). I thought they all looked good in their debuts. Fields started rough but got better in the 2nd half (to be expected as the competition had gone down a step). But he runs well and has some nice zip on his passes. Wilson has something about him with his body language that reminds me (don't call me crazy, I don't mean his playing style) of Brady. He just seems very sure of himself in the game, like he's not at all phased by anything. I thought Lance looked great, Lawrence has that confident look even when his o-line is only giving him a micro second before he gets swallowed up. He seemed to be having fun out there, but of course it's his first game so we'll see how that goes if he spends half the season on his ass. As you say, we won't really know until coordinators start planning for them
  9. Just been reading about Joseph Ossai. He was one of the few players I 'scouted' before the draft and I said he was a guy I wanted us to draft. He looked real good against the Bucs apparently. Even sacked Brady, which makes me like him even more
  10. Yeah it's way too early to know anything but I still love reading stuff like this. Good to see how the other linemen who went in the first round are shaping up so far - something else to watch for as the season progresses
  11. Carl Banks is in there, doesn't look much older than when he retired
  12. Yeah his completion was a nice ball. Leaves his hand really well with lots of zip. His other 2 passes were horrific accuracy wise. His second of those could have been picked
  13. She really is. But why did her wife choose to wear a shirt and tie on their wedding day?
  14. I'll be watching the start of the Giants/Jets. Hoping Wilson has a poor performance so I can see Jets fans cry and overreact about having another bust. Of course if he plays well they'll be talking super bowl, so we win either way
  15. Isn't it just great being able to switch on the TV and see some football. Even preseason, just hearing the crowds and the announcers and seeing the uniforms, all reminders that the best time of year is back
  16. I can't decide whether The Trubisky Group is an exclusive offshore investment bank or a charity that raises money for people with learning difficulties. Either way it sounds very official and I'd like to work for them In the CFL that's a catch
  17. You should have read them, everyone else seems to think he was great
  18. They should send him to work with Watson in Houston, punishment for them both
  19. Someone posted that in the gameday thread and I gave it a watch. I'm amazed how quickly these guys get their content up. I thought it was an okay watch, good luck to the guy
  20. Campbell was NOT happy. This is a shot of the conditioning coach leaving the building
  21. Gameday thread was okay for the first one of the season. A few spelling issues, not as many embedded tweets or gifs as you'd usually hope for. Patriots/Brady abuse was at a bare minimum, which disappointed me. Overreactions weren't as jaw dropping as you might expect, but I think that will change when Josh throws his first INT of the regular season. Overall we did pretty good, guys, but we need a little more conditioning after the long offseason layoff. I'm confident we'll be back on form by week 1 of the regular season.
  22. Dan Campbell looks like the kind of man who makes his wife do 50 pushups on her knuckles when she burns his chicken.
