Rd 5, Pick 148 (5): WR Khalil Shakir, Boise St
RobbRiddick replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree. A lot of WR highlights you see them making easy catches in space because the DBs are so bad. This guy made a lot of genuinely spectacular catches, including some amazing one handers -

I'll be happy with Cook becoming a good runner and real threat out of the backfield but it'd be great if he turned out to be a beast and defenses had to spend more time gameplanning for the running game. We've been saying since Josh really took off, imagine this kid with a dominant running game. Just insane when you picture this offense if he finally gets one

NFL Draft 2022 Fourth to Seventh Round Discussion Thread
RobbRiddick replied to UKBillFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Be shocked if we don't package those picks to move in. Maybe he's trying but there are no takers. All those 6th rounders won't even make the practice squad let alone the roster. Seems like such a waste. -

Best Bills Games Ever (Top Five)
RobbRiddick replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall
The 13 seconds game is a bit different in that it was the game that finally woke the last remaining doubters to Josh's greatness. It was a strange experience during the days after that game. Usually I would have stayed away from sports shows because I wouldn't want to hear them fluffing Mahomes but even in defeat most of the talk was about how amazing Allen was and is. I've watched the highlights many times but I always switch off after the final Bills TD. -

Diggs Extended 4 more years breaking news per WGR 550
RobbRiddick replied to BillsPride12's topic in The Stadium Wall
Damn. Guess that means Duke Williams isn't coming back -
Brady is way too much of an egomaniac to go back to the AFC now. He wants a nice free ride into the playoffs and probably the championship game. He doesn't want to battle the likes of Herbert, Mahomes, Allen, Burrow and the Sexual Deviant

Erm, have the jokes from opposing teams started about us not needing a trophy cabinet built into the blueprints?
-
Yeah, when the new stadium in Indy was constructed they called it The House That Peyton Built. Maybe true here with Josh, certainly a huge influence. Wow. This is so strange. How many years have we been hearing the "Bills need a new stadium" talk? And now here we are. I'd started to believe it would happen and assumed it was just something we talk about every year, like Tom Brady retiring

Gunner's 2022 Mock Draft (v3 and FINAL - p.17!!)
RobbRiddick replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Love reading your mocks. I'd be shocked if they don't get a CB but would really love to see them take another weapon for the offense. -

The Math Behind the Wide Receiver Blockbusters
RobbRiddick replied to Saxum's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, it's actually very smart of them I think. As you say, surround Tua with offensive weapons that will show beyond a doubt whether he's the guy or not, and if he isn't they can draft another QB with the haul of draft picks they still have in 2023.
