I agree. A lot of WR highlights you see them making easy catches in space because the DBs are so bad. This guy made a lot of genuinely spectacular catches, including some amazing one handers

I'll be happy with Cook becoming a good runner and real threat out of the backfield but it'd be great if he turned out to be a beast and defenses had to spend more time gameplanning for the running game. We've been saying since Josh really took off, imagine this kid with a dominant running game. Just insane when you picture this offense if he finally gets one

Be shocked if we don't package those picks to move in. Maybe he's trying but there are no takers. All those 6th rounders won't even make the practice squad let alone the roster. Seems like such a waste.

The 13 seconds game is a bit different in that it was the game that finally woke the last remaining doubters to Josh's greatness. It was a strange experience during the days after that game. Usually I would have stayed away from sports shows because I wouldn't want to hear them fluffing Mahomes but even in defeat most of the talk was about how amazing Allen was and is. I've watched the highlights many times but I always switch off after the final Bills TD.

I don't like the designed runs, especially in the regular season. His scrambles when things break down are another matter. So dangerous and really screw up the defences game planning. I agree though, save the designed stuff for the championship game and SB

He really was great. You never hear him talked about like some of the other old school announcers but he was one of my favorites. He also did the comeback game and did a great job

Yeah, it's actually very smart of them I think. As you say, surround Tua with offensive weapons that will show beyond a doubt whether he's the guy or not, and if he isn't they can draft another QB with the haul of draft picks they still have in 2023.
