When does the comp pick window close? Hoping we sign someone like Michael Thomas as long as it doesn’t hurt the comp pick formula.

I foresee a trade up if Odunze or Thomas falls within reasonable striking distance. If that doesn’t happen, then trading back and back up in a separate deals to get two picks in the 30s/40s and come away Leggette and then another WR or DT depending on value.

I'm expecting this year to be a mini 'reset' year, and Beane is going to have an eye on going all in for 2025. That said, think he's going to play the comp pick game and let folks like Gabe, Floyd and AJE all depart while bargain hunting in free agency. We can enter the 2025 offseason in good cap shape (see ya later Von, Tre and Knox), a ton of picks and a lot of game experience from the 2023 and 2024 draft classes. I think they're going to want to give it all they can for 2025 as the marketing department is cold calling everyone trying to sell PSLs.

I bought a legacy Bruce Smith jersey from NFL Shop that was delivered the week of the Bengals game. I didn’t wear it and wore my “legacy” lucky shirt for that game. I bounced around on shirts until the KC game where I finally put on the Bruce jersey and have worn it (without washing) the past four games - including in person last week. Will be wearing it tomorrow. Hopefully this is enough to overcome and bad juju I created by shaving my December / holiday beard yesterday…
