    Soooo... over/under at 6.5???

From preseason where he's had a couple close calls with limited time I'd say that 2.5 is around a safe place to guess.

But things are different in the regular season and from what people have said here it seems his weakness might be worse in it. That being said he's got to know his problem and Daboll has to know it too. So it depends if they can clamp down on it he might keep his number low but if not it could be really terrible.

Of the 2.  Lets not ignore the entirety of the thread.

    It changes to a 50/50.

And many never wanted to see Nate start again.

Imo they chose who they wanted and not who won it.

I'd say that's somewhat true compounded on to the fact that no one really blew away the competition people got entrenched and started picking at each other's picks.

Reports are the Bills are teaching their receivers how to tackle without lowering their helmets.

I heard they were working with the DBs on how to break up passes.

Only if you picked Josh or AJ.

5% is the chances Trans gave Nate.

5%.  Only a select group thought that.

At the start of the season I thought AJ but as time went on and games played my vote went to Nate based on his effectiveness with the 1’s 2’s and 3’s.

Yes that was the specific number that Tranplant gave but on his poll only 23% seemed to think he'd start. Later on yeah things shifted but I'd bet Transplants 5% probably changed as things went on. I'll say I definitely wanted Allen to start and I know I have a bias too. But trying to look at evenly I thought Allen still had a shot but there was a good chance Peterman would get it that 3rd preseason game was all the excuse McDermot needed.

    Whatever you say, doctor!!!

I really hope he comes back and the Bills acknowledge their mistake. The later is the problem, as the hubris of McBeane will probably not fail.

I don't need to be a doctor I'm not diagnosing him. But if I see some dude crapping in his hand and writing on the walls I'm going to think something is wrong with him and not put him in a violent situation.

    From the Ravens app

Allen may eventually be the starter in Buffalo this season, but the Bills are avoiding having a rookie make his first career start in M&T Bank Stadium.

Per ESPN, the Ravens are 14-2 against rookie quarterbacks at home. Under Head Coach John Harbaugh, Baltimore has allowed four touchdowns to rookie signal-callers at M&T Bank Stadium while forcing 13 interceptions in 10 games.

The Bears' Mitchell Trubisky won in his first NFL road start in Baltimore last year, though he went 8-of-16 for 113 yards and a touchdown and fumbled twice.

Oh now it all makes sense it's cursed.

I'm just envisioning the Ravens defenders salivating right now.

Peterman's strength is all the pre-snap stuff and knowing where he wants to go with the ball.

I've never coached or played football at a real competitive level, but I'd guess there are going to be a number of plays where the Ravens give a man-coverage look pre-snap with the outside CB a good distance--maybe as much as 10 yards--off KB or Say or whoever he's defending to bait Peterman into committing to that throw before the snap. Then as the ball is snapped the DB gets the jump on that out-route the way we've seen so many times.

That's the start of game planning against him.

I really hope I'm wrong and Peterman throws 4 TDs and 0 picks, but honestly, what do you think the over/under is for Peterman Interceptions?

    Over/under 1.5?

    Over/under 2.5?

    Over/under 3.5?

I don't know he might get a full game this time.

I'm glad he saw my "locked" post. Thanks 26! Your absolute bullying here is appreciated!

Man, I still hope he comes back. Better for all parties, despite what the Internet "doctors" and gossip-mongers seem to think.

He doesn't seem to remember why he doesn't play here anymore. Human decency would demand not to put him in a position to sustain more head injuries.

  8. That's kind of an impossible question. I mean if you mean who would be more ready if Darnold starts all season and Allen sits all season then Darnold obviously. I mean if you mean who literally will after this season then it's hard to know. I really doubt Allen sits all season and depending on when he starts he could easily catch up other than that it just depend on which one picks it up quicker.

Eh. Every SINGLE QB will throw picks. What's wrong with you? How about this: The present and the future is Nate Peterman. Josh Allen will never be handed the keys in Buffalo. Yes, he'll start IF Nate gets injured and can't play. However, Coach will yank him out very quickly once Nate is ready to go back in.

GM Beane got played during the draft. He should have never traded for Josh Allen as I written months ago.

Yes every QB has picks, good ones tend to space them out.

Nate Peterman is the starter some of us predicted vs. the Josh Allen fans. No surprise here. Josh Allen has too many negatives compared to Nasty Nate. Josh is not ready this year and next year. The most damning negative is his slow decision making (holding on the ball too long a la Drew Bledsoe, JP Losman, Trent Edwards, Tyrod). I don't think he can ever fix that.

Nasty Nate era is here. He's our Franchise QB. I don't see Josh taking that away from him. Nate is fast with his decisions, fast trigger, and super accurate arm. Nate just has stay durable and the Buffalo Bills QB position is his for a long time.

It doesn't matter how fast he gets the ball out there if he throws it to the wrong team.

When the guy you just gave a contract to publicly states that your logic in signing him to said contract is broken.....you've got a problem. This punter-gate is hilarious and...I hate saying it but....so Billsy. I can only hope that the idea is to grab Jon Ryan after week 1 so that he doesn't have a fully guaranteed deal.

You know what makes less sense keeping a punter all of preseason and never letting him punt.

Josh is cool with the decision. He's not looking to beat anyone out.

I doubt that's really true, Allen's a smart kid he knows what he's supposed to say but he definitely wanted to win that job.

He's been the same way throughout the draft process and preseason he knows what he's supposed to say.
