Harrison Glaser on X: "Rome Odunze wants to play for the #Jets & loved their facility & their coaches & Joe Douglas: "I think it'd be amazing to play in New York, the Big Apple. My takeaway from that is he already recognizes that they're the New Jersey Jets.

Hmmmmm...this is interesting.  There is buzz the Broncos like Bo Nix, but by no means were they a lock to take him at 12.  I wonder if they just take the BPA at 12 and try and see what Sean can do with Wilson this year and worst case they likely end up with a high pick next year to get a QB or maybe get lucky and Nix slides to them in the 2nd.

Eh for a late pick they get a former 1st round pick to be at worst a bridge for whoever they pick.

Pearsall is shooting much higher on a lot of lists this week it seems.

He was really good in the senior bowl practices and tested very well at the combine, his highlights and yes they're highlights but he just really does come off as having something. 🤷‍♂️

The whole he's only a slot WR thing bugs me, but he's someone that'd be awesome if he ended up here.

Great find, thanks!  JT O'Sullivan always worth watching.  For those unfamiliar, O'Sullivan had a 12 year career as a journeyman QB with, I think, 10 or 12 teams.  He was kind of the Nathan Peterman of his day, a guy who must have been "catnip for coaches" but couldn't get it done at the NFL level on the field, except he did start 8 games for SF 6 years into his journey (and threw more picks than TDs).  Subscribe, you won't regret it.

On the just-missed-the-catch to Sherfield on 3rd and 12 38:12  minutes into the video...O'Sullivan spends a long time painting the throw to Shakir in the middle as the better choice.  I don't see it.  Where's someone who knows their shite like @HoofHearted to put me straight?   2 deep safeties, one takes Diggs, one takes Shakir, and Sherfield is the correct read.  Sherfield gets his hands on it.  There is no reason that shouldn't have been a catch: a high degree of difficulty catch, but a catch.

The next play he shows is the missed catch by Diggs.  Yes, Diggs could and should have caught that if he's HIM.  O'Sullivan points out, though, that Allen had a receiver (I think it's Shakir) "wide-ass open" in the middle of the field.  Allen showed "his brother" some love, and it wasn't returned.

So target Shakir even more, guess it's no wonder they're comfortable moving on and having him step up.

    Blame Kevin Costner:

and suddenly a different version of this scene where his ghost baseball dad corrects him and says "No but I'd like to play catch." has now entered my consciences. For some reason it's not as heartwarming.

The Pegulas currently own 100% of the Buffalo Bills football team.

They are selling 25% -- or one quarter -- ownership of the team.

This will leave them with 75% -- or three quarters -- ownership of the team.

They are doing this to make some money.

    Hope this helps.

Yeah even in the next generation as long as they're all on the same page no issue, if they weren't it'd be a cluster***** which it'd have been before most likely only now with an outside force brought in.

Wouldn't this be an example of "not rigging" the trial?

"You see the system is rigged"-points to example of system safeguards doing their job.

Also the 90s, so like around 3 decades ago? I mean you can't lie about that but I'm not sure how disqualifying that would have even turned out being, though a lawyer could most likely get rid of them.

Our Justice System is going to be irreparably harmed this summer.

Its always had issues, but the facade of being given a fair shake by a “jury of your peers” is about to be fired into the sun.

Sounds like you'd hate to have her on a jury for if he should be President.....does not mean she can't be unbiased for a criminal trial, not supporting a politician does not translate to just assuming they're committing crimes.

Looks like Trump was having trouble understanding the judge's actual instructions. But I suppose we cannot let the facts stand in the way of some good rage baiting.

Trump is seething about missing Barron’s graduation. Here’s what the judge actually said

"Before jury selection commenced, Mr Trump’s lawyer, Todd Blanche, asked Judge Juan Merchan if the court could adjourn on 17 May so Mr Trump could attend Barron’s graduation. In New York, criminal defendants must attend trial unless they apply for a waiver, which Mr Trump has not done.

Judge Merchan said he could not rule “at this time” but noted that if the trial was “running behind schedule” they would not be able to accommodate.

Despite no firm ruling on the matter, Mr Trump still purported that the judge made an unfair ruling preventing him from attending his son’s graduation."

He's just upset that if the schedule actually does work out he'll lose out on a great excuse and maybe have to attend one of his kid's graduation for the first time ever.

#1 Goal of any NFL Team - Find your franchise quarterback

This thread - Would you trade your franchise quarterback for the possibility of another franchise quarterback and picks (37% success rate)

Yeah even the people saying you'd have to have even more 1st round picks for it to make sense, like I get the idea you're trying to calculate the value, but it's like something being priceless, sure you can find a way to put a number on it but the reality is it's not something you'd ever trade.
