But here's the issue I have with McDaniel. He got the job off Shannahan's coat tails. One of the biggest complaints about him is that he cannot and will not adjust or come up with new ideas. Another is he is a horrible play caller.

He really hasn't shown anything in his time in Miami to prove he can create new ideas without Shannahan holding his hand. Hard pass...guy isn't a "genius" at all. He was just in the right place at the right time.

Yeah good teams have absolutely clamped down on that Offense in the last season or so.

““You will not be on this field with this team,” the New York Jets first-year head coach said, “if you’re going to cause us to lose games.”

(Glenn said this about cutting Xavier Gipson after their week one loss)

So is he going to bench/cut half his team this week, or…? 😂

Yeah with the whole consensus that the Jets had actually played much better than anyone thought they would it's not really a great look to come down super hard on a player at that particular moment, you should be building your guys up not knocking them down. Hell he needed them all to believe they could hang with a team that's been beating them like a drum on the regular.

Tons of winnable games on the schedule:

    Two Dolphin

    Two Patriot

    Bucs

    Cowboys

    Browns

    Falcons

    Saints

    Panthers

    Jaguars

Forgive me, but it’s been 15 years and the way the offense played in the Steelers game gave me hope.

    Best post ever.

Despite the lunacy you notice which team he left off his list.

Baltimore was up 34-10 and Lamar throws a 23 yard TD pass with 4:43 left in the game. Stats padding at its finest, Baltimore and their fans are trash!

With his postgame interview talking about making sure to finish games, they may have been having some sort of PTSD moment from last week. I mean they did play to the finish....it was against a terrible Browns team though.

Yeah Mike McDaniels sucks at his job, but seing Rex Ryan a grown ass man calling another adult Nerd-boy is just absolute perfection.

I figured this was probably the best place to drop this. His future ex-wife is accusing him of DV on at least 8 separate occasions.

The most hilarious part of this is his lawyer claiming this is some kind of "shakedown" attempt, like Tyreek has been sort of exemplary human being.  GTHECKOH with that nonsense. He's been generating bad press on his own for quite some time now. In most instances it has been related to the same thing. Violence against women. Violence against kids. Violence against senior citizens. A wonderful guy that there Tyreek is.

This puts that house fire in a completely different perspective, quick who's up to date on their smoke signals?

  6. You know now that I think about it, when your last name is Basham when the nick name they come up with you as someone who plays such a violent position as DE is Boogie it's probably not a great sign.

"Boomer Esiason is in the Cincinnati Bengals' Ring of Honor, but attending this year's festivities could come at a price, he says.

The former Bengals quarterback and 2023 Ring of Honor inductee revealed during his Aug. 22 episode of "Boomer & Gio" titled, "Boomer's Ring Of Honor Sort-Of Invite," he was invited to the team's Ring of Honor weekend in October. The catch? He'd have to pay for his own hotel room."

The email that he received from the Bungles read:

"If you are traveling in for the weekend from out of town, we have secured a block of rooms at the Renaissance Hotel at a preferred discounted rate. Rooms are limited, so please book directly for the early and the best rate. We look forward to hosting you in The Jungle for an unforgettable weekend. Don't hesitate to reach out to me or another guy on the staff with any questions. Thank you. And Who Dey."

    He's probably just lucky it wasn't a Super 8.

Mate, thank you so much for letting me know I was mad and upset at Terry.

    I didn't think I was, but I guess I was mistaken?

    🙄

I don't believe I ever said you were, though I can see how you saw it that way. I was more refencing the idea of what's going on in the topic.

Throw me on the stack of people getting sick of these billionaires.

    I mean that's fair.

But getting mad at Terry specifically is kind of meh.

A billionaire bought a yacht the way billionaires buy yachts, and he paid for a new stadium for his team in the same way.

You can be upset at the system that has billionaires paying for stadiums with taxpayer money, but it's a little silly to be upset that the owner for your team wasn't dumb enough to be the only one not doing it.
