If the Bills grab Gentry I think it's a pretty good sign Allentown is sooner than later. Will be interesting to see. I think this would be a decent move. He's got size and skills. He's Reilly but better.
I mean after studying Allen's college tape so much they've probably seen plenty of Gentry's.
Also Josh Allen was a groomsmen at his wedding this summer so they probably get along pretty good.

Maybe they'll keep on the practice squad and see if they can teach him how to catch.

Heres something else you might find funny
laugh when you see Allen 3rd on the depth chart, lol
Even if they kept 3 QBs he wouldn't be 3rd. I mean how does it make sense to put the rookie you want to develop 3rd.

I'll hang my hat on the regular season wins getting the Bengals to the playoffs or the 16 point come from behind taking the lead in his 1st playoff game that the Bengals D Bungled If its all the same to you BullBuchanan.
So I'm confused Mcdermot was telling the truth about McCarron being in the competition still but lying about their being a competition because by the logic of what you just said he was always the starter.

Wait what were we talking about I was busy imagining what's inside that box.?

If we want to talk college McCarron has 3 National Championships under his belt and faced the best of the best doing it.
Allen faced the Browns 2's working behind the Bills starting unit...
Pure speculation by fans that A J McCarron is not being considered for the start IMO.
Talking college McCarron's team won the National Championship twice while he was leading it. He was a redshirt freshman his first year there when they mysteriously won it without him. Which they would then repeat the miracle in their second season without him and the 3rd...no wait they lost that one by 4 speaking of 4 they won it again in their 4th season without him. What I'm trying to say is he played for Alabama for 4 years I'd be more surprised if he didn't win a championship.
Allen on the other hand lead a Wyoming Cowboy team that hadn't had a positive win/loss ratio in 4 years. The preceding year he started being 2-10. With Allen they went 8-6 and 8-5.

McD's mouth after the Bears game says he is...
There was no way McDermot was going to say something negative about McCarron no reason to devalue him before he gets traded. Even if he does somehow stay on the team McDermot might still say he's in the competition all the way up to the game against Baltimore where it will be either Allen or Peterman. That way the Ravens have to prepare in case they face very different Quarterbacks. Though odds are it gets leaked out sooner since the players are going to have to know soon if not already.

After the bengals game, looking like Allen has major bust potential. If we have a top pick again I think you fire away on another QB
I don't know if you know this but after Nathan Peterman's terrible game against the chargers he wasn't immediately shot into the sun. So I think they probably give Allen longer than one bad preseason game.

What does EJ Manual have to do with my question?
Do you prefer a WIN or a LOSS?
In preseason games I prefer good play I could care less who wins.

Legendary? In preseason week 4?
Maybe it was all an elaborate ruse. They all agreed to play 3 quarters of some of the worst football and then at the last moment turn on the jets.

McDermott just said Mccarron is right there for the starting job.
It's happening.
I get the feeling that even if two of the Quarterbacks were in iron lungs he'd still say he's not sure who the starter is.

I’d rather have the kid from “Rookie of the Year” go in as our QB. Kid could really sling it.
Don't you remember his arm was returned to normal in his last game.

So I'm not watching the game just seeing you guys respond to it.
When I try to visualize it yakety sax keeps playing.

Man, what did the world do before wizards(shrinks(psychiatrists))?
They had family/community... Bills were his family.
Yeah and they put people in attics and basements and then pretended they didn't exist too. I don't think anyone is saying that people from the team can't give him support in his time of need, but if you think that putting a mentally ill man with violent tendencies on the line to smash into people is a good idea I don't know what to tell you other than your wrong.

Here is my question... what happens if and I say IF, Peterman starts the season and they go 4-1, 5-2, 7-3... what do you do? What if they make the playoffs 10-6 with Peterman... What happens? Everyone is expecting Peterman to come in, start the season and the Bills go 1-4, 2-5 and then Allen comes in and saves the day... but what if???
Then if that somehow happens Allen gets his year to sit that so many people said he'd need.

I don't base anything like that on preseason football as it would be idiotic. The better question is why a guy who calls himself fridge has no idea how to chill.
Well he's not plugged in.
12 minutes ago, BullBuchanan said:What does it say for Allen that he can't even do that? Is he going to all of a sudden light it up when games matter? This isn't Aaron Rodgers were talking about here. He's a rookie trying to prove he should be better than third string.
Face the facts : Allen's preseason stats are near exact to his college average. He's no better now than he was then. We all hope that changes, but it sure as hell hasn't yet.
Yeah because no one has been talking about how he's improved from various weak point in his college film.

If that's Red October wasn't he talking about Montana? Where he'd go on to be a paleontologist until one day he was invited to a certain island.

At this point, Richie's personal and overall health comes second to our O-Line needs. He is completely psychotic at this point, which is actually a great quality for a LG. If he's welcomed in the locker room, coaching and management are doing their players a disservice by not signing him. Have him come back for one more year, knowing it's his last year so life after football won't be such a shock.
Yeah maybe they could keep him in a cage and only let him loose on game day while they're at it.

Maybe they're going to attach some sort of basket apparatus to his front.
