  1. This might be a looooonnngggg day
  2. Maybe in a cruel twist of fate, you'll be wrong
  3. One thing that sucks for all the injuries is that the Bills literally have 3 games to play in 11 days from this Sunday. Hoping we can get some of the impact players on D back...
  4. A non-conference game isn't AS important, true. But with how tight things are getting in the AFC seeding and the division, the margin for error is razor thin at this point. All games matter at this point. If the Bills were 8-0, I would be thinking, ok we can drop 2 or 3 of the next 4 and be ok. But at this point with how jam packed the AFC is, we could be anywhere from the 1 to the 7 (or 8 or 9) see if we drop a few games over the next month.
  5. Tiebreakers will likely be a huge factor for the division this year considering the AFC East competition and the Bills injury issues. At 6-2, I would personally preferred to have lost to the Packers and Rams, which would put us at 6-0 in the conference and 2-0 in the division (on top of handing the Jets and Dolphins an extra loss).
  6. That is the worst part of it all...the luck. Everyone is always nervous about Allen getting injured because of his running, but he ends up hurt doing the most quarterbacky thing ever by just throwing from the pocket (same with his 2018 injury, although the way it was injured then was different (helmet strike I believe)). The luck factor has really effed the Bills so far this season. Every team has injuries, but not all injuries are created equal (i.e. losing a defensive lineman vs. losing a Hyde or Poyer in a defense like ours). Just seems the Bills have not only been bitten hard by the injury bug, but the players injured are so much of the significance.
  7. My worry is that McD will slow play this like he does with all injuries, even if the rest is not completely necessary. Now I'm not trying to say there is evidence that McD has held players out that were completely healthy, but I've seen comments from some players this year that if the game they were sitting was the playoffs they would be playing.
  8. Yeah true. I would imagine there is more tenderness and swelling now though compared to 5 minutes after the injury.
  9. Unless defenses adjust and take away the short stuff, if they know (again this is an assumption based on injury status) Allen's deeper throws won't have the same velocity or accuracy on them.
  10. At first I was like, wow this guy knows a ton about UCL injuries then I saw this online lol:
  11. Actually we kind of get boned on the Thanksgiving game as we play the following Thursday at NE...THEN we get the long post-Thursday layoff before the next game.
  12. Oh, there's a way to judge a team in the playoffs based on the lowest of their lows. That's for damned sure!
  13. Well played hahaha. Don't make simple jack come in here!
  14. My guess is he has to look at the tape. But seriously, unless the injury is serious (as in done for the season) I don't think we'll learn much from McD. He is usually guarded on that and just says he'll defer to the medical staff.
  15. Well that is a dangerous game to play because there aren't many KC-level games left on the schedule (maybe Cincy). We have tough games upcoming based on the teams we play but those games don't have the glitz and glamor of the KC's of the NFL. I wish this team could learn to play at a high level regardless of the opponent.
  16. What was so hard to understand about my reply? What I did to cause them to lose is...I hated his mustache. Hating his mustache is what I did. Is that fine and dandy enough for ya?
  17. I mean, the 5-3 division rival Jets should have had them fired up...
  18. Shoot even the Bears can suddenly score. The Browns running game could be scary as well. No easy games left on the schedule.
  19. Agreed. The Chiefs last night won ugly. Sometimes that's what is needed to get the W.
  20. I hated his mustache...and I normally don't hate anything about Josh.
  21. Considering we are basically at the half-way point of the 2022 NFL season, figured it would be interesting to gauge people's thoughts on where the Bills end up at season's end.
  22. The whole team lost their edge. It's the dreaded Super Bowl hang over two years in a row. Beat KC in Arrowhead...pop bottles...grow a mustache...then come crashing back to earth.
  23. It's almost as if the Bills were the underdog and jumped out to the lead and then the Jets settled in and played their game.
