Or he doesn’t want to do it .. or the other teams don’t want to trade down that far or they just prefer to take Nabors or Odunze themselves … Not as much fun to dream otherwise though … we’ll know in 11 days of dreams come true
-
he is suggesting that something is possible … like no kidding Sherlock 😂
-
I dunno… he is just saying it’s possible .. not that he has actually heard anything about it happening

Johnny started the off season as a solid mid teens Round 1 pick.. now he is the end of Round 1 guy that the “experts” try to squeeze in when they do Round 1 only mocks … The Kiper Belt with Field of Dreams Yates have him at 49 on their latest … but they have a bet each way and says they expect a team to still take him in Round 1… lols all round there … sometimes they pick with what they expect teams to do … and others it’s their opinions …

Seems to be falling in some mocks… yeah I know … mocks right … but starting to wonder if there is something negative out there ?

Throw in 60 and keep 128 and the Seahawks may even consider this … Not for me personally

Randy Mueller - maybe only ~150 draftable players this year

Ok …interesting ….that could be helpful for getting some info on some players at those schools … Do you have any knowledge about Garret Greenfield from South Dakota State? Possible mid Day 3 pick for the Bills maybe? -

No one here knows anything …. But a couple of people have some very strong opinions… -
Well… I have got a different strategy as I have outlined already in the thread .. I don’t think we are as far apart as you might think… I want 2 WR and a DE in the top 60-70 … I don’t see taking a DE in the third as a large as an investment as you do obviously… It’s probably a moot point anyway as I see Kneeland being talked up now by the likes of Kiper and Brugler who have got him going in the Top 50 … too rich for my blood
-
The Bills have had him in for a Top 30 visit so they must have some interest in him … so are you saying they view him as a Day 3 option? I don’t see him lasting that long …and I am suggesting picking Kneeland with their third pick in the third round … which will require some moving around the board considering that pick doesn’t exist yet …whether this is considered a reach or not is opinion at this stage … we will see how the draft and the player subsequently turns out … Hoping that Miller improves concerns me as a strategy …he is 35 and looked terrible last year … he is not even close to being 50 percent of his pre injury level ,,,.but again as I have mentioned … I’m sure they have better information on his progress If there is any doubt about Miller ,,, they need a better strategy then picking a leftover on Day 3..

It might bring down the regime if Josh starts complaining to Pegs about McD and Beane wasting his prime years ..
-
It’s a two way street … teams don’t necessarily want to move from the Top 10 to 28… or they want more than Beane is prepared to give up
-
yes .. I can do the maths … Im not saying they aren’t getting value for the move . I don’t think either of us are going to know Beane plans or how they value these guys… I can only offer my opinions and moving up for Thomas expending more draft capital than a fourth is not my preferred option …after comparing him to the 5th and 6th guys who are likely available at the original pick
-
I think it’s a real possibility that Kneeland could be on their list.. could see him maybe lasting to early/mid third … so would be great if he was the third pick and not the second at that point in the draft
-
I agree that 60 isn’t the best spot this year … but I don’t see how trading down helps … they should be looking at trading up and getting another top prospect in this draft … In relation to the first pick …If Brian Thomas costs more than a fourth to move up for ( which means 2-3 spots ) than move on to the next guy …

It’s certainly not the first time I’ve heard it ..
