The things that we love about Josh are also the things that lead to his downfall.

He literally plays like a fan out there. For better for worse he’s one of us.

Josh right now reminds me a lot of Favre - when he's good, he's really good. Unfortunately, we're gonna get some of the bad along the way leading to too many interceptions and turnovers.

No, it's horrible.  The monster snow dumps do tend to take place in the Southtowns, but not exclusively.

The real killer is gray sky as far as the eye can see for a week at a time, combined with cold air, wind, all signs of life outdoors gone. It's a solid 6 months of death each year, to varying degrees.  Not all max winter weather for the full 6, but it's getting ***** there now!  It won't be nice in Buffalo again until next June!

I remember it well and unfortunately am old enough to remember '77.

I was beside myself when Lewis tried to intercept it instead of knocking it down. I didn't hear the post-game pressors, but the fact that McDermott actually said that is even more infuriating. I've not been a huge critic of his, but his teams are the worst prepared team in the league in critical moments and this falls squarely on his head.

Even bigger to me is why was Lewis the only one contesting the catch with Jefferson ? And why does Dane Jackson refuse to look back and find the ball - very evident of a few of Jefferson's catches.

1 - Josh - For all the mystery surrounding his elbow, you never would have thought for a moment he was injured in this game.  Allen was making all the throws with ease.  Josh made some amazing throws and even more amazing runs.  On the first red zone interception, I can't fault him for trying to make a play.  It was 4th down, so they Vikings would get the ball unless it was a touchdown.  The fumble, I still don't know who it was on, but it looked like a good snap from the replay I saw, albeit a tough replay to see.  The last interception is really my only concern with Josh in this game.  We had taken all the momentum back, were moving down the field at ease, and Josh throws it right into a defenders chest, same as he has the past few weeks.  What worries me the most is that I couldn't see anyone he was trying to throw to.  This wasn't a matter of receiving running the wrong route or an anticipation throw, he just made a terrible throw.  We are going to be in more games like this, that come down to the last drive, and Josh needs to be better here.  The fact that this was the only throw I questioned makes me a feel a little better about his decision making from the past 2 games, but still a concern.

Probably discussed a few times in other threads, but why not go shotgun here ?

Bad snap in that case, Josh has time to fall on it for only a safety with minimal time remaining.

Best case, he runs to either side  or throws it away 3 times.

End of the day…despite the offensive miscues…We are essentially 2 missed FGs and a miracle catch by Jefferson (that might have been the greatest catch I’ve ever seen) from being undefeated.  Despite missing half our defense in all 3 losses.

When we were healthy we were destroying teams.  Offense has had 3 bad second halves in a row, now it’s time for Dorsey and Allen to figure out what is going wrong in the second half and make adjustments.

I for one have all the confidence in the world still in Josh that we will figure this out.

Bottom line: the Bills are not that good. Josh is messed up.

Disagree - 3 losses by a total of 8 points to teams with a combined rec of 23-7. Also don't think Josh is messed up other than always feeling like he has to make a play. Poor coaching in some cases. Injuries - badly need secondary help - Tre and Poyer back would be a great start. Do the CBs ever look back to find the ball ?

I know I can’t say this without people not actually reading it and thinking I’m saying something I’m not…..

But I was thinking a few months ago what it would feel like to have the Eagles championship. Like imagine a world where somehow Keanum was forced to play and we somehow played extreme complimentary football, all the stars aligned and we won our only super bowl in history with a QB that we all know isn’t the answer. But just feeling that obligation of having to appreciate and honor the guy that finally delivered for us. And how strange that would feel. Because how do you turn around and bench this guy next year even-though obviously we would.

Again: not saying I want this, knowing it WONT happen, hoping Josh plays every second including this week, Keanum sucks….I’m saying I understand this. I’m just thinking out loud of how strange that Situation was and would be for us.

just like we should beat the Jets without Poyer, White and Milano? You want him to play Sunday then sit for 2 games?

    I'm assuming a few things ...

    • Milano / Poyer / White are ready to go this week
    • Vikings are a far tougher test than the Browns / Lions where maybe Keenum could win
    • The injury is aggravating for Allen but not likely to get worse
    • A couple weeks rest without throwing could heal it

    Like everyone else, pure speculation.

He played poorly.  But is it Allen losing confidence or a sign of deeper issues with the Bill's O?

    *  After Diggs - who is a top 3 WR in the league - who are the Bills play makers? Davis is maddeningly inconsistent and McKenzie and Kalir are not doing a good job as slot receivers. Last year Beasley alone caught 82 passes out of the slot.

    *  Allen's play has hidden the deficiencies of the O line.

    *  The lack of a running game is starting to take it's toll.

Hines can't get on the field fast enough.

All of this - when your QB leads the team in rushing yards, there's an issue. Knox has 20 catches, Davis 18. Too much pressure for Diggs to always be open.

Run defense is pretty sad right now, with or without Milano.

My not so unbiased Super bowl thoughts

    1.  Copper Kupp was unbelievable.

    2. Aaron Donald was unbelievable.

    3. That desperation throw on Cincy's last play almost connected.  If it had, it would have been the play of the superbowl.

    4. Glad Cincy lost.  Just am.

    5. Jalen Ramsey gets beat twice on big plays.  Me like it.

    6. OBJ going down really hurt the Rams.

    7. Imagine waking up in Detroit today knowing that Stafford won.  Must really suck being a Lions fan.

    8. The halftime show was NOT my cup of tea.  My son on the other hand loved it.

    9. When Rams changed their pass rush technique in the 3rd quarter, the game changed.  Wonder if the "great" Spagnola looks at that and says why didn't we do that?

    10. I bet Burrow is one sore football player this AM.

    4. Agreed - don't think we need another Broadway Joe

    5. Makes me appreciate Tre all the more

    7. It sucked being a Bills fan for a long time as well

    8. Same but I'm old

For sure, but to me what makes it so much more special is the way he handles himself. Very mature, says the right things, helps in community and other areas, and you'll never see him doing anything stupid and drawing negative attention.

Josh has the one trait so many others seem to lack - humility.

It looked like Murray was truly turning the corner and one his way to superstardom this past season but ultimately his flaws caught up to him so I would not be shocked one bit if he's rethinking his NFL future.

And you take away the stupid hail mary against the Bills and the hype isn't nearly what it's cracked up to be with him.

Yet you look at his numbers and they're pretty damn good. Rams game notwithstanding.

How is the cut line determined? The cut line for the PGA Tour pros after 54 holes will be the top 65 players, plus those tied at the end of that group. But Pebble Beach also throws in a wrinkle, as the Top 25 Pro-Am teams after the handicap of the amateur is factored in also get to play on Sunday

Final round is always at Pebble - top 25 pro-am teams play even though one of the pros in the top 25 pro-am groups might have missed the professional cut.

That's not what people were saying up-thread - they were saying that only the top 25 pairs play on Saturday.  🤷‍♂️

Nah, all pro-am groups play each of the 3 courses. Otherwise, you'd never see Bill Murray and other ams on the telecast Saturday. Cut is made before Sunday's round.

Josh is teeing off @ 10:30 tomorrow with Larry Fitzgerald on Pebble Beach.

Edit - sorry, missed your tee time post up a little bit - Josh is playing to a 9 and Larry is a 7 ( at Whisper Rock in Arizona ) meaning he's more like a 2-3.
