Didn't the people stuck ignore the travel ban/warnings of the storm? Reports prior were that it was projected to be worse than 77.
Weather reports leading up to '77 didn't have it anywhere near as bad as it turned out. But all we had was local news back then.
Roommate and I shoveled out my car and we drove down Elmwood looking for food - were stopped by BPD who told us there was a driving ban.
Instead of a ticket, he told us what was open and after getting our food to turn it around, head home, and park it.

For all of them, sure. Instead of defying the law and principle of it, yes.
@Roy Hobbs why are the bills above the law?
They're not - ticket them and move on FFS.

I realize he showed no symptoms. With his history, I would hope the independent spotter would check regardless. He had a serious injury earlier this season. He bounced his head off of a lightly padded concrete floor. The shield (and NFLPA) preach their concern over concussions. He should have been checked.
Why isn't Tua wearing some kond of neck protection ( roll ) that should prevent the whiplash like snapping of his head against the turf ? Also beyond me as to how
engineers haven't come up with a helmet with better shock/head protection than the standard Riddell he's wearing.

If you want to. They aren't essential workers and they violated the driving ban that everyone else had to follow. It's as simple as that.
Guaranteed everyone else did not follow the ban nor was it enforced everywhere. Give the entire team/staff/media a ticket and move on.

Yes. The 911 operations and such said they will not be servicing calls during the blizzard. Ambulance, police, fire will not be in operation.
They did not explicitly say don't help people and go help the Bills. They said don't answer calls. And then went to help the Bills. Even if, and I'd need to check my timing, Erie county and Buffalo reopened - it is incredibly poor to have used government to help sportsballmen - even our beloved Bills.
Terry, Kim, etc could have flown a rented a snow machine, helicopter from Cuse, whatever. They have the money.
Wut ? For whom ? The entire team/staff plus the media that traveled with the Bills ?

So correct me if I’m missing something here…it’s either:
A) He suffered a 3rd concussion this season, in the first half, and played the entire rest of the game? Again?!
or
B) His terrible 2nd half is being explained about by reporting of minor or even false symptoms, in an effort to make his dreadful performance understandable.
Either way, this is a TERRIBLE look for the dolphins.
Not a doctor, but one of the symptoms of concussions is bad depth perception which could explain the 3 INTs in the 4th quarter.

I think there's a need for some perspective here:
The majority of the deaths, were people "found dead outside". Why were they outside? Were they homeless or without power and seeking shelter but didn't get there in time? Car stuck and trying to find help? We don't know, but clearly these were extreme conditions and since Buffalo doesn't experience them often, it would be easy for people to under-estimate how quickly they could become disoriented or hypothermic.
3 deaths (so far) were in a vehicle, 3 from an EMS delay. So that's 6 deaths where blocked roads/limited travel were clearly a factor. Those 6 deaths matter - Matthew 10:31.
But "Michael Thomas" needs to chill with his "we couldn't leave to see our families on Christmas, it's So Unfair". It's not like the Bills players all drove all over town to see their families on Christmas, they went home and stayed there.
And there are stories all over social media (and some on mainstream media) of people whose cars were stuck while they were trying to get home to their kids, pleaded for help and Good Samaritans on snowmobiles or in trucks came and got them and took them home. It's not like ordinary citizens aren't trying to get home by any means if they can, Ban or No Ban.
Knowing a major storm was coming and a driving ban was likely, "Michael Thomas" could have left to see his relatives on Thursday like the Bills did leaving for Chicago.

Exactly. It's not like Bills players were making a snow storm booze run. They are getting home from a job they had to go to. Some Twit-wits are acting like authorities helping the players get home killed people stranded in cars.
No doubt some of the dipshits railing on the Bills were out driving themselves.

If he is getting concussed on small hits like this, he should retire. Guy is just getting dumber and less athletic with every shove.
Agreed, it appeared that he spun around in the tackle and landed on his back. The fact he played the rest of the game, did a press conference afterwards,
and then had symptoms today is concerning for his long-term health.

If the Dolphins beat the Pats, and the Jets win their final two games then it's the Jets who are in with the Fins and Pats out.
If the Pats beat the Fins and lose to us and the Jets win both games, the Jets are in.

Jets could easily end up the 7th seed if they beat Seattle and then put it on Tua and the Fins. Pats ain't winning in Buff.

I follow Benjamin Allbright, he is a Broncos reporter and is pretty straight forward. He said earlier in the season that Elway is rarely even at the facility and has little to no influence on the day to day decisions.
Several others have reported the same.
In section #2 ...
"Elway would oversee a deal that saw quarterback Drew Lock, tight end Noah Fant, 2021 sacks leader Shelby Harris, two first-round, two second-round, and a fifth-round draft pick go to Seattle."

May Elway have eternal nightmares for picking Chubb over Josh

It almost seems as if he's a better match for the Rams' offensive system than Stafford. If I were Sean McVay, I'd think long and hard about signing Mayfield long term and cutting bait on Stafford.
Let's not get too excited about Baker - he beat a bad Vegas team and a horrible, demoralized Broncos team. IMO, he will be moving on.

Jets control their own destiny though…that’s a pretty big thing for Miami to lose the handle on. Also if the bills lose to cincy and ne beats Miami, Buffalo essentially gets to choose who gets in the playoffs between ne and Miami. Pretty decent shot that game gets flexed so we’d know if the bengals hung onto the 2 seed or not before we even played.
obviously if we beat cincy though we won’t be considering anything like that
If we lose to Cinci, we'd drop to the #3 seed and likely get the Chargers as it stands now.

Crazy that the bucs are fighting for a playoff spot and they could very well get in
If they do get in, the Cowboys will make quick work of them.

Just have to wait till 2025 to cut him and use 1/4 of your cap space on getting rid of him 😂.
The only other options they have are to see if the NFL will excuse the contract if he’s dead and if so, take him to the train station or hold a fire sale, try to unload everything for next year, and stack all the early picks possible in 2024 take late round picks for 2023 so they can kill half the cap space by getting rid of him ASAP.

I would tell Stafford no thanks and go with the younger QB.
Well there is that contract and dead cap issue to deal with ...

Could very well stay in LA especially if Stafford decides to hang them up and its not that far fetched of a possibility.
Stafford already said he's coming back next year.

Elway isn't part of the front office anymore.
Umderstood, but he is still a consultant to the team and had a big influence in bringing in WIlson.

He's been bad for a while now. Wasn't good in Seattle the last few years. Denver was just dumb enough to give him a huge contract
They need to keep Elway as far away from the team as possible and then something like the options in here ...

LOL if you think that Mayfield is somehow now competent because he plays for the boy genius. They are playing a horrible team that is sprinting for the bus today. Mayfield will revert to his level as soon as he faces a competent team or faces a little adversity.
Competent doesn't mean great but he will have offers for 2023.
