  1. The real Question is should they. If a GM feels a guy is the genuine article he will go all in. But some people are not overly excited by these QBs and it's possible maybe our front office is not.
  2. I think after a year or two with a clip board we may have an actual franchise QB maybe 2 if my feelings on McCarran are correct.
  3. I hope your right and I hope we take him. Maybe even after a trade down. I'm of the unpopular opinion that he is the third best QB in this draft behind 2 guys not named Darnold and Rosen.
  4. Perfect QB for us. After all Santa says Rudolph plays good in the snow.
  5. I hope Rudolph is there at 22. If he makes it to 31 the Pats will find Brady's successor.
  6. Whaley just couldn't get along with others. I can't wait for the guy that is evaluating our GMs draft success to get to Whaley. This bored is gonna self destruct. Wether some of the posters on this bored like it or realize it. Last year's draft was Doug Whaley's. Not to mention the free agents he signed. He was a QB away from building consistent contender. However with that being said I have faith in Beane and the others to make the right decision. We have a strong group of football minds. A lot of future GMs.
  7. If he is Warren Moon let's trade up to 2 and take him. The other 3 we better trade down from 22.
  8. If we take him he needs to bulk up, but I think the team that wants him keeps or trades for TT. I am of the belief that Cleveland trades out of 4 and drafts him at 11 or 12 or somewhere in the teens.
  9. The chart is just a base. The Jets set the market at 600 to 800 over value. Which at this point seems foolish but if they think there is a big difference between guys for them then they did what they had to. Beane obviously didn't feel it was worth it at this point.
  10. Sorry don't see it. Not a Johnny football at all. Jim Kelly was a really "confident" guy as well.
  11. Agreed. The only QBs that I'm not into are the 2 a lot of people like. Darnold and Rosen. That doesn't mean I'm right but that's what I think. Rosen wouldn't be a concern if not for the concussions.
  12. That's 2615 for 1800 the price I listed is pretty steep. The value of first overall is 3000 for reference. 65 might as well be looked at like a 2nd. And all of the picks are in this draft, instant gratification. It's not as much of a seller's market as people think. There are 6 QBs with 1st round grades.
  13. Don't think his body is built to take a beating. I have him as my number 3 behind Mayfield and Allen.
  14. The Jets gave the equivalent of 2 1st and a third this year and the cost to move from 6 to 3 is the same as 12 to 4 according to the chart. What the Jets gave was about 600 over value. We could get to 4 by giving our 12,22, one of our seconds and 65. If he is the guy I'm all for it.
  15. If we don't get the right guy this year and fill our roster. We have the option to trade our entire draft to move up if we use these picks wisely. If we don't get our guy we need to aquire a few more picks for next year.
