They are not gonna say yeah he sucked. If he remains out mlb you can expect multiple 50 yard runs per game as we saw. He will either shoot the wrong gap to avoid getting pancakes or get pancake and off to the races. Unless we bring up safety help for him and then our pass coverage will suffer.

The Bills Should Inquire About Hunter Renfrow’s Availability.

Very low standards you have. Break out with 30 catches? Gave had 4 games with 70 yards? He had 5 or more catches in only 2 games all season. Give most nfl caliber guys reps and they will replicate those stats. Crowder had multiple 800 yard seasons and over 67 catches in one season. Mck had over 30 catches last year in what you call equals a breakout year for sherfield. And I am desperate? Makes no sense. You can make an argument you think they are better based on some subjective metric but the stats do say otherwise. And if you think Davis had a good year I don’t know what to say. He was invisible much of the season. He had about 10 games where he was a 2 catch for 30 yard guy like we saw Monday night. That is not good enough especially in an O that throws 40 times. So you’re right I should have said more 0-2 catch games not 0-1. Last season he had 4 games with 2 or less catches and only 1 100 yard game. In a pass heavy offense your #2 has to be better. -
A few topics/stats/info that have not been mentioned

This is deceiving because it only takes into account if he made the tackle. Plays he was blocked and the guy runs 50 yards have no impact here. Bernard did not get his first tackle vs run until the midway in the third quarter...says something. Half his tackles came when the Jets were just running the clock down. QTR 1 0 tackes QTR 2 0 tackles QTR 3 First tackle was a 9 yard run Second tackle was a 1 yard run that Oliver stuffed QTR 4 Third was a 5yd run 4th was a 2 yd QB sneak setting up FG w/ 2 min left running clock on 4 and 1 5th on a 1 yd run setting up FG w/ 2 min left running clock on 2 and 13 6th on a 6yd run setting up FG w/ 2 min left running clock on 3 and 12 I want to see stats on how many times he was pancaked. I saw at least a few. -

Gabe is going to bounce back despite stats that show he does not get open, has a ton of drops, and has more 0/1 catch games than big games. Harty has 67 receptions and has been the league going on 5 years. Sherfield also has 67 receptions and is going on his 6th year. How many players break out in year 6? And these are undrafted type guys not former first rounders hit by injuries. Yet we are told they are better than the McK, Beasley, Brown, Crowder, Sanders, etc who have all actually done something in the league. That is not saying I want those guys back, but dont sell lessor players as an upgrade. Thankfully we have not wasted any draft picks on WR's, what would we do if they had picked George Pickens instead of Elam... -
Taylor is at $4M this year. Who cares if he is back next year. Elam for Taylor straight up.

Hopkins went 7 for 65 in a TEN loss. Maybe he could have helped but that ship has sailed. -
Cook has never been a feature back ever. Not in high school, college or the pros. Not sure why the Bills think that changes all of the sudden. We brought in Harris and gave him 9 snaps in a game that we led like 80% of the game. Then brought in Murray in the second half more than Harris. I have no idea what the plan is at RB. But Taylor would help that is for sure. We dont need him, but having Taylor and being able to play more under center and utilize play action would make this team harder to defend. Allen in the shotgun street ball has been figured out. Its called rush 4, double Diggs, dont worry about the running game and just have your QB spy. Give up the short 3 yards and wait for the Bills to call dumb plays that lose 5 yards or Allen to force something out of frustration.

It feels more and more like the process means - take care of my guys, be good enough to keep our jobs, create a family / faith filled environment and less about winning and not accepting anything less.

A lot of racist have the mindset - I like some black people, some asian people, etc. Its just the XYZ type that piss me off that I dont like. Its basically, behave like you are told and I dont have a problem with you. Act like a "" and get out of here. I have brought this up on the past and was told I am clueless. Had a billion thumbs down etc. It could be a problem. I hope we dont have a blow up like in Wash, AZ or the Clippers, etc.

Jets FG to make it 13-6. Why did the Bills just give the Jets the points? It was 3rd and 13 at the 25, McD declines a pass interference call to give the Jets the FG from the 25. Why not take the penalty and push the Jets back to the 35? Never know if you get a sack or TO on that play. Unliklely they convert a 3rd and 23. Did McD think he was playing Mahomes or something?

Reality about Josh that is not talked about. He played at a really small high school. Then JUCO. Then Wyoming. He never had high quality coaching. Daboll seemed to help him a lot and then he moved on to Dorsey... He likes the familiar. We see it over and over again.
-
Jets will follow the 49ers roadmap. Short quick passes and run the ball. Play solid D that keeps you close. Limit the mistakes. They have enough weapons in Hall, Wilson, Cook. If they add a TE or another WR then they could be really tough. I actually think playing more conservative fits their mold than Rodgers may have. Unless he was willing to play the quick short game.
-
Josh looked like a guy that did not care last night. I dont mean did not want to win or try. But more of the kid that has been told dont put your feet on the sofa and does it anyway. SOmething is off. He did not look prepared either. I dont know if this is a Josh thing or a growing lack of respect of the coaches.

Where is the data to suggest that things will change?
ngbills replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is a continuation of a growing downward trend in this team. Most dont want to admit it but much of last year felt like a chore. Yes there was some big wins etc but nothing looked easy or like the guys wanted to be there. -
Scheme and team speed on O. Dorsey runs routes to get one guy open. Yet that one guy is rarely open and there are limited options except a check down. I have said it before ego is a dangerous thing for coaches. Dorsey wants to say look at the play design right? Just let the players play. Basic crossing concepts, pick routes, and quick downfield routes.

On to something. Is just scared to stand in the pocket and take a hit? That is much different than initiating contact when running the ball. Maybe that plays a role in why it seemed he was looking for contact. Denial he is playing scared, hey I’m hitting guys so I’m not scared. Di
-
Play action? How many times? Against that D. Clueless.
-
You are right. I guess I should have said it would not have cost us if our O didn’t crap itself. But Bernard was involved on many of the jets positive plays. Including halls big runs.
-
That is another point. Luckily it didn’t cost them bc Wilson was playing. But Bernard did not seem to know what adjustments or calls to make either. Doubly bad.

Beane’s failures on full display

Bingo as pointed out by so many “clueless” people. If they handed hall the ball 20 times tonight we lose by 20+. -
The D would have gave up if we scored. That is the problem, we could not score so they said hey let’s win this.
-
Milano deserves better. Hoping Kirksey can be ready.
-
His tape is gonna be really bad. I tried watching him early and he was getting straight plowed onto his back. It was not good. He is too small and he is not fast enough either. Just don’t get it.
-
He looked lost on maybe 75% of the snaps.
-
Exactly. The Jets basically gave up and the Bills kept saying no don’t give up. We will let you win.
