    This seems fake. Lions can't be at home week one because of the "Ed Sheeran conflict." Also - no MNF double header?

    Ooo! I can do this, too! Don't draft Peyton Manning because of Heath Shuler. Don't draft Aaron Rodgers because of Kyle Boller. Don't draft Andrew Luck because of Trent Edwards. That all checks out, right?

    So we just have to wait until we got 2-14 to get a QB? When will that happen? This year? Because next year's draft looks pretty weak. Every QB ever has had some knock on them. Manning couldn't throw down field. Elway had no touch. At some point, we have to get a QB. We've been risking too many years already by not moving up or finding some way to get one.

    I get it. I really do. But this is a thread about a DT prospect and the OP never mentioned anything about QBs. Plenty of threads already have pretty much every opinion covered.

    Not sure why these threads always come back to QB... I'll throw a vote in against taking Settle. His measurables are terrible and he's not exactly the prospect his highlights show. This is what Joe Ledyard from NDT has to say about him; Here's the mockdraftable breakdown that he mentions.

    I was going to hate him no matter where he went. This just makes it easier.

    I agree that Butler was decent value, but he retired to enter politics and never blamed it on injury. I always wonder what could have been with him.
