  1. The criticisms monos has are very valid, and beane McDermott and the management team I hope have ways to fix these issues

But how this is presented as some genius or great football mind, is kind of hilarious

The guy was around some of the darker drought years and he has advice for the current group. Like come on

He is a poster on this board just like everyone reading this message

It's super easy to criticize and complain and tell people be or to do better

How would Mr. Monos fix the bills.....that's right draft more ej manauls in the first round

  2. He is 100% trolling now

He definitely saw the reactions his brother posting 20 mil per were getting and most definitely saw the reactions he got for "pinning a comment" of 15 million per himself got

If he isn't trolling at this point , you gotta move on and not even because he isn't worth the contract but because he is dumb as a rock and completely clueless

These RBs have the wrong idea. The best thing they can get is job security. He would Be better off negotiating something reasonable, but long term and with some solid incentives baked in.

once You hit the RB free agent carousel, it’s all downhill. He should ask his brother how that went for him.

This is how I would do things with rbs, get term and get the contract as near to fully guaranteed as possible

The free agent carousel is too much of a wild card

  4. I think one of the reasons Bishop looked bad/like a rookie/not ready was because of the guys he would play with. Rapp and Hamlin

You have rapp who is Uber aggressive, too aggressive

Then you have Hamlin who is Uber conservative, too conservative

You're then asking a rookie not only how to figure out playing at the NFL level but with two very drastically different players and styles. That's not an easy ask

Just going to be hard to do this and extend Bernard, Benford, Rousseau, Shakir and retain Hamlin at -$11M already.

Maybe a bit of a hot take but if the bills don't resign or extend any of those defensive players, is anyone actually upset? Would the bills be actively worse off?

Before the concussion to benford he would be a must extend but the defenders others meh in my opinion

  6. I honestly figured when Allen mentioned "slick Rick in the mail room" I figured it was just a made up name to describe all the admin/clerical/reception/janitorial/cafeteria/etc. the employees that make the day to day running of the business and building possible

Awesome that he is a real person, and glad to have met/heard slick Rick speak about what it felt like to be mentioned. That's really cool

He will be in the $12 -$14m range.   RB valuations were too low the pendulum swung too low and it will come back to a more reasonable medium.

I believe sportac has him at 8.5/9 million the last I checked

Which I think if it's 10ish he is looking for you sign the deal

It's a good Dline class this year but if I could trade my first for Max Crosby I'd seriously consider it. I think Garrett is a pipe dream. The price for him is starting at two first rounders, especially for a team like the Bills picking #30.

I want Crosby because he also seems to like to mess with and get under mahomes skin

Always seems to be giving mahomes little elbows and extra shots

We should bring in Wink Martindale as a Defensive consultant.

Who has babich coaches with previously? Or his father as well?

Completely judging the guy based off how he presents himself, he doesn't look like a guy that wants to play a bland bend but don't break style

Hoping he can put more of his spin on the defense as the team gets more talent

Listen to Greg Cosells appearance on the Ross Tucker podcast today. He's a bit more objective on that show than he is when he's on the home town show with CB and Tasker.

He pretty much said what we all saw on Sunday. "Outside of Allen this team really doesn't have a lot of talent". He tipped his cap to the OL and a pretty good run game, but he said outside of that this roster doesn't have high level talent. He said it's actually quite an accomplishment they've been as successful as they have been with their talent level.

We need more dogs, plain and simple.  And BTW, you could tell Chris Jones was a player Beane mustve liked in the draft. Now he was taken in '16, before Beane was even here, but that was one tell I picked up on in this pressers.....he spoke about him a lot.

We need 2 or 3 dogs added to the defense. Can that happen in 1 offseason? Probably not, but hopefully the process can begin this offseason.....and it's one reason If be down to trade two 1sts and a 3rd for Myles Garrett. The defense would be totally transformed dripping a player of his talent onto this roster. He just turned 29, he's got a lot left in the tank.  He'd be my #1 offseason priority, it makes too much sense. And for those that say you can't fit him under the cap. BALONEY! That could easily be finagled

    Dogs and talent

We need to find the younger good version of Jordan Phillips somehow

Signed through the 2028 season, I am guessing you’re more likely to see a restructure instead of an extension.

This next season has the highest cap hit at 63 mil, and I could see Beane wanting to convert this into signing bonus and spread it out down the road.

I don’t think there is a hurry to extend him right now.

The bills will want the extension, Allen and his camp will want the restructure

We will see the restructure , next off season will be the extension in my opinion

  12. This was year one of building a more aggressive defense

All year defenders gave up angles of sure or more sure tackles to get better angles on the ball. They were going for turnovers over tackles

Get some talent where they can legitimately play man to man more often and an actual threat at edge

This is a bit of a lazy take.  I thought he was one of the better defensive players on Sunday. Led the teams in tackles, wasn't picked on in coverage, and wasn't beaten in general and certainly not beaten deep.  Hamlin and Elam were getting killed in coverage.  Bernard had a sub par game and Rousseau had his worst game of the season against a back up tackle with 30" arms.

Douglas, Oliver, D. Williams, Phillips and Bishop were the 5 that didn't suck.  Maybe my bar is low??

Bishop looked solid Sunday but let's be honest if elam and Hamlin weren't on the field he would have gotten targeted

Why target bishop when you got elam and Hamlin on the field. It made mahomes job incredibly easy

  14. Next year's roster needs a starting safety, two corners, a pass rush and speed/separation at receiver

Personally would love to create a trade package around Groot and picks for a Maxx Crosby or Myles Garrett

  15. I've wanted to move on from McDermott since the Houston texan playoff game collapse

This is the first year I don't want to

A lot of previous year issues I've had with McDermott disappeared, the team played a complimentary football style where the defense and special teams complimented the offense for the first time in his tenure

This was a reset year, a lot of the issues we saw last night were due to inexperienced coordinators and a general lack of actual talent on the team - 1 second team all pro and what 2 pro bowlers

  16. The bills had the ball with the chance to win on the road with 3 minutes left and 3 time outs left

I'll continue to take that situation in AFC championship games, that's a spot Allen and the bills will win the majority of times

Ok, tell me why he's a worse coach?  Is it because he only won one w a HOF QB?  Do you think his side of the ball has under performed MCDs side of the ball?

Honest question, why is he a worse option than our current coach?

This was googles ai response - just copy and pasted for you

Mike McCarthy's tenure with the Dallas Cowboys, while marked by some success, was also criticized for lack of playoff success, particularly in crucial moments, and issues with team discipline and consistency.

Specifically, some of the reasons cited for criticisms of McCarthy's coaching include:

    Lack of Playoff Success:

Despite a winning record and multiple playoff appearances, McCarthy's Cowboys struggled to progress deep into the playoffs, failing to capitalize on their regular season success.

    Discipline and Penalties:

The Cowboys consistently ranked among the most penalized teams in the league under McCarthy's leadership, highlighting a perceived lack of discipline and focus on the field.

    In-Game Decision-Making:

Some questioned McCarthy's in-game adjustments and decision-making, particularly in critical situations, leading to losses and missed opportunities.

    Inability to Develop Young Talent:

While the Cowboys had talent, some questioned McCarthy's ability to fully develop and utilize young players to their potential, leading to inconsistent performances.

    Lack of Consistency:

The Cowboys often displayed inconsistency in their play, both within games and across seasons, contributing to a feeling of underachievement under McCarthy's guidance.

    Coaching Style:

Some argued that McCarthy's coaching style wasn't conducive to maximizing the talent on the team or fostering a winning culture.

In essence, while McCarthy led the Cowboys to a winning record and playoff appearances, the team's lack of deep playoff runs, persistent discipline issues, and overall inconsistency led to criticism and ultimately, a parting of ways.
