If the giants call the bills up and offer daboll for McDermott, do you do it?
Daboll has arguably been a worse hc than McDermott so far

McD puppet is the correct answer, more Carolina connection.
Dorsey was the actual Carolina connection, they worked together there

Run the damn ball more when it is working and suck those LB's up for play action shots.
You may not like Joe Brady
He is notorious for only throwing the football

Allen is currently part of the problem
But here is the thing Allen is also 100% the solution

McAfee: "It's still a team that looks like they have some ***** going on behind the scenes"
McAfee is close enough to a few bills and guys in the league that he knows exactly what's up with the bills

Why are we talking about a hockey player for the Edmonton Oilers in this thread?
He did just get his head coach canned to have the oilers hire his former junior coach

Part of me wonders is the issue with Diggs was that he decided to speak to someone like Beane or even Pegula about McDermott on behalf of some of the players but Josh didn't back him up.
That might explain his reaction after "meetings" this offseason.
Sadly, because of what happened with Josh McDaniels I doubt McDermott would hold a "airing of grievances" meeting at this point. LOL
If an airing of grievances happens on any other day than December 23rd, it's a very bad sign for who ever is a leader and in charge

My biggest fear at the moment is that there will be a group of fans that try to get Allen off the team rather than blame the coaches

Probably a good thing so many people already put down deposit and purchased their seat licenses for the new stadium
Imagine having to try and sell the fans to purchase a seat license with McDermott as head coach currently

Nothing is going to happen. I’m already prepared to not watch next season if changes aren’t made.
I'm in the same boat, at this moment if McDermott is back I don't know if I am back to the extent I am currently (ie season ticket holder)

It’s possible that the coaching has failed to develop and use what he’s brought in, but his track record doesn’t look great in hindsight. A lot of draft busts, a lot of bad/failed FA signings.I’m not even talking about Miller which has failed pretty bad (but that was a calculated risk and we got burned).
I won't beat the drum to keep him as what you bring up is all very valid but do think he is generally solid and listens and organizes the team well and appears to be very respected

Nothing will happen. Allen doesn’t have the guts to go to Pegula and tell him to move on.
Allen doesn't but I bet von miller does and maybe together they will

If I didn't legit believe the team has/had the talent to win a super bowl these past few seasons I wouldn't care at all, I've been a season ticket holder and gone to nearly every game since 2007
This team has a QB that might be the best athlete to ever play the position and they are ruining the guys career

Beane isn't firing him. They are a package deal. Beane goes with him
Does McDermott report to beane?
I've always thought they both report to pegula and ard on equal ground
6 minutes ago, DapperCam said:I’m kind of at the place where I think we need to fire McDermott and possibly Beane as well.
However, they both just got extensions this off-season and the internet says McDermott’s is for 4 years at $8.5m per. Ouch! Might make it harder to fire him.
Beane can stay in my opinion
Take a look at singletary and moss, both below average to bad players here. They move to other teams and start performing like solid players

This all stems from 13 seconds
The bills should have cleaned house then, it would have taken giant balls to do so but in hind sight that's when it 100% should have happened

In every loss there is a GOAT. Let’s be real did Norwood not lose Super Bowl 25, along with 1/2 the defense that missed Dave Megget?
I was too young to have watched that super live.....but I watched the highlights every super bowl Sunday for years (along with every super bowl) and was always amazed that little guy was ALWAYS open for 15 yards
What actually happened and how
-
1. Needed wake up call
2. Better call another players only meeting
3. Play complimentary football
If you do these 3 things the bills win the super bowl!

Does complimentary football actually mean football that makes McDermott's coaching not look bad?
Like McDermott wants to play complimentary football because when they don't he has a scape goat
-
If by fun you mean no expectations so you can't be disappointed, then yes they were more fun

Sometimes I get on this board and I read a thread and I put a lot of thought into typing a reply. And then I think, "wtf am I doing here?" and I delete everything I typed and get back to my day.
This was one of those moments.Same lol, often post anyways though

I'm so freaking nervous, I wish I drank!
I really hope they have figured it out and come out guns blazing tonight.
Does anyone wonder if they overcorrect too much? For example, Josh running the ball. He either is perceived to be doing it too much and risking injury or he doesn't run at all. I feel like they can't find a middle ground. He doesn't look like he's even having fun. None of them really do.
I think everyone is way too cut and dry, it's either this or that but in reality it's a gray area and you need to sometimes do both
Regarding your fun comment, have you read Tyler dunes article a while back on the after math of 13 seconds?
In my opinion the coaching staff lost the locker room after that game and you won't be seeing a team have fun until there are changes
is there a HC out there worth going after?

No to Matt Nagy, I'd rather keep McDermott for a lifetime before you hire him
