I’ll forever hold the grudge until McClap delivers us a Lombardi which btw, he never will.

Daboll should be our HC. Should’ve been hired on the tarmac in KC after 13 seconds. The offense wouldn’t be in the mess it’s in right now I can tell you that.

I'm glad daboll isn't the bills head coach because I don't think he is a very good one judging by the way he coached Sunday night

In game coaching cost the giants a win Sunday

Something else I thought of is that this might have something to do with the fight to secure Dorsey's services. As I recall, both McDermott and Daboll wanted him.

This is probably the most likely aspect of any ill will on McDermott's side

It's often not a good idea to try and raid the staff of the job you're leaving to fill your own staff at a new job

It's one thing to take one or even two guys with you but wouldn't shock me with the gm being from buffalo if they went hard after all the guys still staffed in buffalo

Least enjoyable Bills win I can remember in a long time.

I don't care if Brian Daboll knew Allen's tendencies and weaknesses, I don't care if Wink Martindale called a great defensive game, I don't care if there's some kind of Tyrod Taylor revenge angle, I don't care if the Bills ARE missing three key defenders.

The fact is, it is not acceptable for a team as talented as the Bills, playing at home, to have THAT difficult a time defeating a 1-4 team missing 3/5 of it's starting o-line and it's starting quarterback, and who is as all around talent deficient as the Giants are. Not acceptable.

I think the players know this. I HOPE the players know this.

It's maddening that a team that is supposedly as high character, hard working, and has such a great culture as these Bills, and who are led by a very disciplined coach in Sean McDermott, can routinely have 3-4 games a year where they just look uninterested, unfocused, low in energy, and make repeated concentration errors and shoot themselves in the foot so much. I have never seen such an elite team need so many "wakeup call" games per season. I have never seen such an elite team make it look so difficult so often.

Yes, I'm obviously extremely relieved that the Bills won. A win is a win is a win. There are no style points. The Bills are 4-2. Win and move on to the next week, that's all that matters. But at some point -- at SOME POINT -- it would be nice to feel like this Bills team has learned its lessons and taken its medicine and to see them start CONSISTENTLY playing up to their sky high potential.

    Frustrating game.

    Great point

Super bowl contenders don't have 3 "wake up call" kind of games through 6 games

I think Daboll made the biggest blunders. One was the poor time management at the end of first half to lose the FG opportunity. Then at the end of the game where he called a pass play when they were gashing the Bills on the ground.

Bills escaped with a lucky win. Also, the unreliable Davis and Knox were in full force with a fumble and drop at critical times

The daboll pass on 3rd and 1 near the ten yards line then proceed to kick a FG to go up 9-7 was the ball game instead of going for it on fourth

Worst case you don't pick the first down up and force the bills to go 90 yards for a TD and if they do you're still down one score best case you end up forcing a punt and only need a FG to win

  5. I think Elam is kind of a read for opposing teams at the moment.

Taylor seemed to look see who Elam was covering and then identify potential blitzers, if the blitzers came he'd go to the guy Elam was covering knowing he is for sure man to man coverage where usually the bills mix coverage between corners who does man and who has help when tre had been healthy in that same situation

  6. Gotta get Allen to start reading defenses and play calls correctly again because he is struggling

Example that 3rd down at the end of the game, the read needs to be after the play fake check if Knox is open and if he is let it rip in rhythm and on time. If he is covered run, try to get the first but stay in bounds is the top priority

How Josh Allen read it, run first see he can't get the first then he came back to a wide open Knox. Problem was by the time got to Knox the ball is now late and off schedule, resulting in a poor throw and a tougher than needed catch to be made by a guy who doesn't have the greatest hands to begin with

Elam was in position more times than he wasn’t. But he needed to get eyes on the ball. Too often he played the man well without any idea of the pass.

He stood up for 3-ish quarters.

Hyde botched his 1:1 responsibility in Ridley too.

I was shocked they didn’t help Elam out more with a safety over top. I was a little more upset with that than I was Elam.

He also seemed to get picked on whenever the bills sent a blitz with six or seven rushers that didn't get home

  8. The bills should trade Josh Allen, and go with Matt Barkley or even Kyle Allen

With what they could get from trading Allen they could really build up the offensive line and get another wr to upgrade from Davis and even a actual rb. The offense would be impeccable

Can someone explain why some players can "play special teams" and some others (usually starter-caliber guys) cannot?  I never understood why its such an exclusive skillset.

Also tackling is usually a huge thing on special teams, especially the position Elam would likely play needs to be a very sure tackler

I'll stand by my previous thoughts that Elam is just a numbers game and lack of position flexibility puts him down on the game day active list

The Bills have struggled with the Dolphins as of late.

    I know the heat game....

In the Bills 3 match ups vs. the McDaniel lead Dolphins we are ahead in point differential at +3. Which is remarkably close considering in the heat game Tua shouldn't have been on the field and one game was vs Skylar Thompson. McDaniel has given us fits. I think this one will be a lot of fun, but some fans seem to be leaning on the heat game and ignoring the rest.

I think the defense will keep us in this one, it will be up to the offense to sign, seal, and deliver the goods.  If we can play like he did vs the Raiders this one will be 21-35. If we get the Washington offensive performance it will be 24-27 in either direction. But if we get @NYJ output....woof.

Against Miami, it seems like the bills get week one Josh Allen. Seems like he doesn't take them as serious or just wants big plays and gets bored

Miami scoring 70 last week might have been a reason for allen to lock in this coming week
