Well, he was running Dorsey's system. Give him a full offseason to implement his system, and things could be different.
What is his system? And is it worth gambling a prime Josh Allen season on it to find out?

The guy didn't adjust in the second half in multiple games, just because Allen started scrambling doesn't mean he was a good coordinator

"Obvious choice after he ignited the offense"
You mean when Allen decided he would just do everything again

There is no way that Joe Brady stays here in a reduced role. He’s getting HC interviews. If the Bills don’t keep him, he’ll get one of the 14 current OC openings pretty quickly. Ken Freaking Dorsey has interviewed in Cleveland and Philadelphia.
Brian Johnson was getting head coaching interviews and then got fired as the OC in philly in the same week

Id love to keep Brady on staff as QB coach, but the more I think about it. I would like to see an experienced coordinator hired

I'd like to see them hire whoever has had the most success and a good amount of experience

Meh. Wow, we got the guy who worked with Burrow and Chase!!! Sums up the Titans.
they will have like one or 2 seasons of being a tough team but Levis ain’t a long term guy. I have zero fear of that franchise.
Your first sentence can also apply to the bills offensive coordinator potentially

Two words Kliff Kingsbury
Is he a good coordinator? He was sub par college coach, sub par NFL coach
Maybe he is better suited for assistant roles but I'm not even sure at that

It's slim pickins, for sure. A couple of us did some digging in a previous thread. Best outside candidate I can come up with is maybe Klint Kubiak.
Have to imagine that with offensive coaches seemingly being favorites to get new head coaching jobs, working for a defensive coach could be appealing as you will be given more say and control

Who else is available to be OC if not Brady?
Almost sounds like they have someone in mind they want to speak with

Trying to be objective here.
He also had Poyer and Hyde in their prime when they were fully healthy and available.
Then inherited Milano and Tremain Edmunds in their prime.
So is he one of our best coaches, or luckiest?
Poyer and Hyde weren't always poyer and hyde
Also seeing how Bernard played this season unexpectedly as well as the improvement of Dodson through out the season
It's impressive

I believe the bills will use this off season to start the build up to the first season in the new stadium
If McDermott isn't the coach to try again with now is the time to make the move
If you need to take dead cap hits this coming season is the time
From a financial stand point the bills need to be where they are favored to win it all in 2026

Our best chance to get McDermott fired was for Bass to make the kick. You know Mahomes would've gained the 40 yards he needed for KC to kick the winning FG.
It's a crime that we have the best player this organization has ever had and will ever have in Allen to only play in 1 AFCG in 6 years. Next year they will be lucky to surpass 6 wins with their cap and age situation. Burrow will be healthy, Miami isn't going anywhere and NE will have a shot at a potentially great QB. Plus Rogers comes back for the Jets.
This was their last shot for a couple of years. They're better off cleaning house now and regrouping.
They will continue to win games and probably make the playoffs....they play the AFC south and NFC South if I'm not mistaken
The pegulas really and I mean really need to look and make sure they believe they can win a championship with McDermott as head coach
The guy has had ample opportunity, and will continue to get opportunities as long as Allen is QB
-
Should? Ask yourself the following
Has a McDermott defense not gotten torn to shreds in the playoffs yet?
That alone needs to be answered by the pegulas

So Martin has a chance to play?
This might be a big addition because then the bills can use the practice squad player other than a punter especially with all the injuries on defense
-
I hope the bills plan to involve cook and Kincaid all game long this time against KC
In the regular season they targeted them and kept them involved in the first half then I don't know if either got a target in the second half
-
Hopefully we score touchdowns and don't need to see haaks slow punts

Think the bills will build apartments or hotel space near the new stadium for when this happens so if players want to stay over night they have the ability
obviously guys with families local would never do this but a lot of these guys only live in buffalo during the season or are young and it wouldn't bother too much. But would allow for practice and meetings to happen in person which are big especially in the playoffs

Texans defense is the type of defense that can beat Lamar in my opinion
Curious what the weather is projected to be
If Baltimore starts slow and let's Houston stick around they could be in trouble
Just now, gonzo1105 said:This strikes me as the type of game where the Texans exploded and people will give them a chance to pull the upset only for the Ravens to eat them alive and win like 40-14.
Then everyone will hype the Ravens as unstoppable against the Bills/Chiefs and then the Bills/Chiefs win a close type game against them
It's how these things go, same will be said if the bills blow the chiefs out or if the chiefs beat the bills on the road
It's the NFL script

Cost of parking on lots is something that should really be looked at the cost is getting crazy for what's needed, plus it hinders the development of prime land a lot of times
In fact it incentivizes lack of development, why build something when your only expense can be property tax and whatever you pay for an attendant or two

Is weed legal in New York now? Trying to decide whether to fly with it or if I can pick something up in Buffalo when I get there
There are a couple places you can get it legally
No idea on the quality though

The fake slide is a penalty......
Allen didn't fake slide , he just slowed/stopped running, the defenders could have easily wrapped him up
Bigger issue is that players are no longer taught or told to wrap guys up and are told to launch and hit

Anyone know when the stadium lots will open tomorrow?

Can't wait for Miami to pay tua 50 mil a year
