Pass to Johnson was in good spot to give him momentum to carry it in the end zone. 7 or 8 times out of 10 the guy scores there. It was a good tackle. Give them credit and move on.
I don't hate the throw or play
Defense made heck of a tackle

Douglas looks like he knows he’s done for the game
He is on the bench with no helmet
If he was coming back he would already be in the locker room or have his helmet on

Needed a bounce

Has linval Joseph been playing poorly? Defense seemed to turn the corner once he was signed
Or is it more a banged up/Ford gives more flexibility

Probably one of the better links I've found on an opponents forum:
They made a really good point that the Bills defense earlier this season already seemed to know what was going on. Really interesting to see if we can reproduce our earlier defensive effort (and Baltimore's).
McDermott seems to have a good read on the shanahan offense (49ers/rams/phins)

I don't get understand aiming for a walk off TD, should just try and get a TD
It's the fourth quarter and you've only been able to get one TD all game but you think you can manipulate the clock for 6 plus minutes and score a walk off

Look at run vs pass plays when diggs is on the field vs off the field
Diggs is rarely on the field on run plays
I'm hoping the offense is back to trying to create unpredictability for the first time since daboll but in order to do so (especially so late in the season) you have to become very predictable first

That bills Steelers game from 04 was the coming out party for Willie Parker and James Harrison

He is still very poor at in game management and at this point that just is never going to change
I've thought this since he named Nate Peterman starting qb with a team very much alive in the playoff race. So my opinion isn't going to change at this point

Honest questions
Why does flacco deserve it?
We have seen him play amazing for a four week stretch a few times before - isn't this who he always was and is?
Why does Baker deserve it? He has never been very good and really isn't this year either (he is very much an average QB playing against a weak nfc). He has been this player his entire career, he just got screwed by bad coaching and bad organizations
The guy that should be getting more love for this award is Stafford

Good guy to stash on the practice squad if he is healthy

For the "remarkable performance" standard
Isn't making the team, being active, making a tackle, kind of remarkable for where he was at about a year ago
I get both sides but I think that constitutes as remarkable performance as it is and should be all relative

I see it from both sides but looking up the reward its "The National Football League Comeback Player of the Year Award refers to a number of awards that are given to a National Football League (NFL) player who overcomes adversity to return to remarkable performance, in the form of not being in the NFL the previous year, a severe injury, or simply poor performance."
I don't think Hamlin should get it, personally. It's amazing he has come back but to be fair he really hasn't played, much less came back to remarkable performance.
The remarkable performance and what constitutes as remarkable is what will be debated
To some making a professional football team and stepping foot on the field in a real game after what happened is incredibly remarkable
On the other hand 2 tackles and a handful of snaps isn't remarkable stats in any way shape or form

No matter what you think of hamlins talent level
The dude died on the field, has come back to play a game that he died playing
Like how is that not the definition of comeback player of the year
He came back from death
Joe flacco came back from the couch and being a stay at home dad

All fine.
But tell me how we’d feel if Mitch Morse came out today and said “yea that Miami D line does a lot of good schematic things, but it’s not like they got an Aaron Donald.”
That's the equivalent.
I wouldn't say equivalent as you could debate that miamis d line has a very very good DLine, including a guy that's a bout to be paid as a top 5 defensive tackle. KC doesn't have that quality of defensive back
But again the quote is always gonna look worse as you don't get any body language or actual pauses and read of the person saying it
-
The video vs the quote
Pretty different if you ask me
Basically saying the chiefs are all solid, well coached players that don't need to do anything fancy
Unlike when you have a guy like Jalen Ramsey where you scheme up hidden coverages or blitzes because you have a guy that you can leave one on one

Fun fact: anquan boldin's son is currently a freshman on the UB basketball team

It's really hard to go though the roster and pick someone out. Maybe Ifedi but I'm not sure they want to mess with the OL room.
And they still have Phillips coming back probably in the postseason, if they win a game. Really speaks to the roster depth.
I'm pretty sure rosters expand in the post season so if Phillips is needy that shouldn't be a problem
Or I'm sure who ever they do cut to make room would be able to slide to the practice squad

I find this hard to believe…It’s not like he has untapped potential, due to athletic ability…Davis has basically reached his ceiling as an unreliable, unathletic #3/#4 receiver…
No smart team would pay him #2 money…They would sooner take their chances on an upgrade WR in the draft…👍
As for the Bills, the mentality of our front office should be to draft a #2 receiver, that they see as a potential replacement for Diggs…That is not Davis…
A lot of dumb teams out there
He will sign a contract for that money but could very well never see it in my opinion
A team will structure his contract as a 3 or 4 year deal at 60ish but the guaranteed will be about 20 or less and really be just a two year deal. Which I honestly think a good amount of teams will line up to offer
Gabe coming off his first contract where he put up alright numbers is young enough where he will be looking to max his potential in my opinion which will lead to a low guarantee but a large total contract

This game is brutal

If you can re sign him for 5-9 million you do, that's nothing for a wr these days
The problem is he is going to get closer to 16-20 per from a desperate team

I feel like the playoff seeding should be adjusted so that division teams don’t play each other the first week. Like what if we beat the dolphins for the second time, then have to play them again immediately the next week?
beating any team 3 times is tough, let alone a playoff team that’s in your division
The beating a team 3 times is hard narrative isn't true
Something like 70% of the time the team that won the first two wins the third

Lol Dak drew that call by grabbing wilkens helmet

I agree, if the drive after Chargers got their FG to get within 2 points. You have the better QB, you go down the field passing the ball and take control of the game
Exactly. You're not playing Patrick mahomes, you're playing a guy named Easton Stick in his second career start

Seeing a screenshot of the play, the play was bad. Very bad
Id still take the throw though, think 80 to 90 percent of the time he is bouncing into the endzone
