I could see that. I think something weird is going on in the locker room. It could be good or bad who knows. But one thing is for sure, its not for everyone But the weirdness/strangeness is in line with culture change or new ownership/management that are changing everything to their/new way (this is just based on my own work experience)

Question: is it smart to start peterman this week to avoid Anderson also getting injured and having to play peterman at home in prime time?

He will definitely lose the trust of fans.

I was wrong about thad Lewis only having 7 days, he had a month, but was only a 3rd year pro bouncing around on practice squads. In the game he played here he went 19/32 for 216 yards with 2 passing touchdowns and 0 interceptions and added 7 carries for 17 yards and 1 rushing touchdown the bills lost that game 27-24 to the bengals in ot. Those are solid stats from a 3rd year pro who was starting for a team that had traded for him a month earlier. Derek Anderson is a 13 year vet, been to the pro bowl. He can get ready in what amounts to 10 to 14 days. Not expecting to be blown away or impressed with his play, but I do expect to see actual qb play something we havent seen from peterman minus 1 pass.

Yes. There have been qb's play with less time to prepare. I think Thad Lewis played with 7 day prep when he played here a number of years ago Anderson is vet, he should be able to pick up the game plan that's installed this week. He obviously won't know the entire playbook but should know enough. Other guys on offense will need to step up and help with calls at the line

If I'm beane and get the slightest hint peterman might start I cut him and force McDermott to play Anderson ala billy beane in moneyball style

This defense is incredible. Its getting up towards the level the Jim Swartz defense was playing at. Also while the bills offense is boring to watch, its been a lot of fun watching the bills defense the past couple weeks

I'm willing to give this regime this off season to rebuild the offense. They have a ton of cap and a ton of draft picks. They have this defense humming, give them time to get the offense up to speed. With that said the complete mis management of the offense is a huge red flag. How the quarterbacks alone were handled is a disgrace. Who ever made the choice of peterman over maccaron needs to have their say revoked when talking offense.

Record wise we would be 2-4 or 3-3. Not much difference. Play wise we'd probably look more like an nfl team on offense

Peterman has to be cut Monday. The guy can't hack it. If he is awesome in the film room hire him as a coach. But never let the guy play another down for the bills again

In the report they also made it sound like beane expects to get calls on mccoy from other teams. So it sounds like he is trying to get a bidding war going

Does trading mccoy hurt Allen's development? His best game was the one McCoy missed. As strange as it may sound trading shady takes Allen's and daboll crutch away, maybe it would force other players to step up/game plan better I'm just trying to convince myself the bills offense won't get worse without shady, its tough

How the team and mccoy handled the press conferences yesterday seemed as if a trade was looming. It also sounded like we are gonna deliver this trade news at 4pm on a friday

Allen is over due to hit a deep ball for a td and with how many turnovers the defense has forced the past few games they're due for a td too. That's how they will score

It is fishy especially when the majority of the bets and money are on the bills,and the line hasn't moved. However I've found that weeks 4 thru 6 you can find some really good underdog picks gambling each year and I'd like to think the bills are one of those games haha
