Rumor: Bills trying aggressively to move up for a WR in round one
MrEpsYtown replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
He's another guy who, like Keon Coleman, was going higher than Mitchell, Thomas etc before the combine. And after the combine much lower. But typically the early mocks are more true to form. I think he goes tonight and I am good with him. -
McAfee Draft Spectacular Show Featuring Bill Belichick

See I have different thoughts. I feel like NFL network doesn't show highlights much after day 1 and do the fluffy Rich Eisen run a 40 stuff to death. Day 3 ESPN still recaps and shows highlights for almost every pick, it just sometimes takes them a while to get back to it after listening to Trey Wingo make stupid comments. For me, NFL network has become watching the scroll on the bottom of the screen a lot of the time. The both have way too many commercials...JMO -

I have the same list but I will add Worthy. Any of those outcomes are good with me. I wasn't down with him at first, but digging deeper he can ball. I would rather have the top 3 or Thomas/Mitchell...but would be good with Franklin/Worthy. -
People will be mad no matter what happens!

Rumor: Bills trying aggressively to move up for a WR in round one

It’s so true. I had the same thoughts. I have kind of come to terms with the fact that both Buffalo and KC are going to take WR and whatever happens we will probably be left wondering if KC got the better guy. It sucks, but when we continue to pick in close proximity and have similar needs, it just is what it is at this point. -

I like the DeSean Jackson comp for Worthy. He’s that type of talent and I like the fit. Do I like the bigger guys like Thomas and Mitchell more? Yes. But those other guys are not comparable to Worthy imo. I think as fans we just kinda come up with excuses to prove our guy is the guy. -

That play sucked no doubt. But it’s a guy getting beat by one of the best players in the league. And it is one critical mistake In a game’s worth of dumb and preposterous mistakes and lack of execution and missed opportunities. It’s easy to hate on Dion, but that isn’t why they lost. I will not hesitate to hand out kudos if you are indeed correct! -

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to be a hater, but mathematically it doesn’t make sense. You are also taking away another leader on a team that has been gutted. -

The one thing I will say about Keon Coleman is he was way higher on draft boards in January and so I think he winds up going late 1 somewhere. People who liked Coleman before the combine aren’t going to hate him all of a sudden because he ran a slow 40. I just keep thinking about Beane being excited about Gabe Davis’ slow 40 because it allowed us to have a shot at him. I want Thomas or Mitchell, but I could see Coleman as a dark-horse. I think he will go higher than people think. -

A poster is floating a Dion Dawkins trade. I think it’s impossible. -

A Dion trade results in: 2024 Dead Cap: $22,739,499 2024 Savings: $-11,229,666 I don’t know how they do that. -
I’d do cartwheels if I could for anyone in tier 1. Would love any of the 3 in tier 2 and would be happy with a guy in tier 3. I absolutely love Thomas and Mitchell. I am intrigued by Franklin and Worthy and I think McConkey will be solid.
-
@Virgil Obviously you made the right move with the trade up because Thomas was going to go to the Steelers at 20, or to another team in a trade up…and Worthy and McConkey are also gone. So it would have been Franklin/Leggette/Coleman etc, or another trade down scenario. Nice work. It was also a win-win because I took the guy I likely would have taken at 19 at 28. Out of the 3 mock draft outcomes for Buffalo, this one is my favorite.

After trading down with the Bills, with the 28th pick in the TSW Mock draft 3.0, the LA Rams select Chop Robinson, Edge, Penn State. The Rams need defensive help in the secondary, and they could use depth at the OL spot. There is a ton of OL guys left on the board, but I feel good about what might be there in round two. I seriously considered Xavier Worthy because he adds a different element to the offense that would make them almost unstoppable with Kupp and Nacua. Plus Les Sneadś kid was Worthyś teammate at Texas. But their biggest need is in the front line and the Rams need to get to the QB. Pass rush dried up really quick, so I considered Chop at 19 as well as Johnny Newton. Being the first time the Rams have selected in the first round in a long time I am taking the gamble and taking the boom or bust Chop. He has some elite first-step quickness and though he is raw, he could produce right away opposite Byron Young and next to Kobie Turner. At this point in the draft, I think it is really good value and the Rams have spent a lot of time with Chop. He is not my favorite prospect (undersized one-year wonder upside plays from PSU ain´t my jazz, but I do think this is something the Rams are likely to do). He gets dinged a bit for his size and length, but he is very athletic and fast and I think he is a good fit in the Rams style of defense. @frostbitmic and Detroit are now on the clock.

Man people are gonna be mad when we draft Chop Robinson. “When Manny Diaz speaks, I listen” McDermott at the press conference. -
The Hauska thing was Henry Anderson. I don’t think Hendrickson is a dirty guy, but I don’t recall the Allen thing.

Who should the Bills draft at #19 (Trade)? - TSW Mock Draft 3.0
MrEpsYtown replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
When we kind of worked out the numbers, trading to the teens, it's essentially 28 and 60 or 28 and the future 2. The other pieces are ancillary, but doing this exercise it really does feel like the future 2 is there to use as fuel for the trade-up. I know we kind of knew this already, but grinding the numbers on the trade with Virg proved to me that this is the case. -

I wonder who is leaking all this Thomas stuff. Somebody definitely wants him to drop. To me, the labrum isn't a big deal. Also to me its the top three...then Thomas Jr. in his own class. The argument can be made that Worthy may be in his own class because he is unique. Then I think it is everybody else. -
Rams willing to trade back if anyone wants.
-
I’ve seen comps all over the place for him…Dyami Brown, Diontae Johnson, Jamison Crowder…Matt Miller says Tyler Boyd. This dude says he is Antonio Brown. The comps are all over the place.
-
Yeah i don't understand the Jonah Williams signing locking Johnson into RT. I think Johnson is better than Williams and should have been moved to LT this year.
-
I actually like Pearsall more than I like McConkey, but I understand why McConkey is the higher-ranked prospect. He just seems more likely to make it. Pearsall's 3 cone and ridiculous explosion numbers make him pretty tempted. I still don't see a first-rounder in either.
