  1. I was shocked at how quick Burrow got rid of the ball. It was almost prime Brady like where the OL doesn't matter. Bengals clearly focused on this going into the game.

After it was 14-0, I never felt the Bills would win. Cincinnati is too good and the slow starts eventually caught up to them.

I think his prime years have already been wasted based on the rise of the rest of the AFC.  We missed the window last year and now we aren't just behind KC (as we will likely be forever), but also Cincy.  Miami and Jets (assuming they find a QB) will push us for the division as well.  Chargers, if they stop Chargering will also be in the mix.

Not to mention Jacksonville seems to be a great team in waiting.

    What a brutal conference.

Philly.  SF has enough rings.  I’m not rooting for Cincy or KC.  Philly has a ring, but they are deserving of another crack at it.

These championship games will be pretty good I hope.  Both are solid matchups.

Both should be good matchups agreed.

I know media will focus on Cin beating KC three times in like 10 months. But all went to the wire.

KC has the advantage at QB, OL, coaching, and DL.

It's unimaginable to think KC could lose two straight conference title games at home to the same opponent.

I was not sold on SF before today. Still am not. They have a great, not all time elite, D. No doubt. But they have benefited from playing inaccurate passers for the most part. Now they go on the road and face a challenge that has not come there way in three months.

  4. This loss probably doesn't even rank in the top 10 of toughest playoff losses.

Suggesting it is worse than last year is mind boggling imo. That team had a real shot at winning it all.

I never felt this team had a very good shot. Slow starts and inconsistency. Too many bad teams hung around to the end of games. Seemed to be no killer instinct.

I'm not so sure. Last year ended with the KC heartbreaker. But overall, it felt like a season of a great move forward, including some ridiculously entertaining games. This season felt more like a team trying to hang around for one last big opportunity. To be honest, it never felt like a Super Bowl caliber team to me after Von went down.

    I know what you mean.

I just meant only one team will truly have a great year.

Last year felt like the beginning of something special. And sans 13 seconds, maybe we win the SB.

This year is a bit of a letdown.

I actually still think the Bills are better than KC despite today’s drubbing. KC is 1-5 against the Bills and Bengals in their last six. They have their own issues. I expect the Begngals to handle the Chiefs next week.

I don't think this current Bills squad as of today is better than KC. After week 6, both teams play seemed to go in opposite directions. It was like everything was put into that game and a letdown occurred.

It's time for the annual end-of-season fan over reaction and suicide watch. Just a quick review of the forum subject lines shows the season finale drama is in full gear.

If it makes you feel better: the season ends this way for 31 teams every year.

    Yep.

Im the end, the second best team will feel no better than the thirty second best team.

There will only be one team that is happy once the playoffs end.

    Yeah his first game.

Thought we were discussing McD's PO resume and not JA's. Got mixed up.

    Correct.

Houston loss was JA's first time in postseason.

Jacksonville loss two years prior was McD's first PO game here.

I'm not ready to get rid of the head coach. If they want to change coordinators...fine. They do need a scheme change on D when it gets to playoff time.

Not even close. Marvin Lewis lost in the first round every year for like 8 or 9 straight years

McD only lost in the first round his first season.

Lost in first round against Houston too.

That should have been a win too.

The Bengals are a difficult matchup for this team. Scheme, philosophy plus top-notch execution did that today.

Love our Bills, yet in both an honest and factual statement, the road to return with free agents, Josh's salary, and some poor coaching and execution makes for a touch road.

Doable...yes...but the past three seasons have had windows open that don't open often.

The Bengals are a difficult matchup for KC and Baltimore too. And other teams.

We have things to clean up.

But Cincinnati is a great team. And as much as I hate to admit it, they may be better than us right now.

We need a #2 receiver. Some help on OL. RB. And a different approach on D.

So glad they got run out of the stadium if they were losing. Exposes how bad the construction of this team is. Need a real OL, Real WR2  protect Josh and Give Josh weapons. We have the worst Weapons group in the playoffs this year and one of the worst OLs. Stop spending All you premier assets in Defense. They are irrelevant in the Modern NFL when facing a top end Offense.

Better to get run out of the stadium than have another 13 seconds disaster which could fool the front office into thinking we are victims of bad luck.

    I agree with you.

Well he isn’t as good at the QB position as Burrow and Mahomes are currently, that’s for sure.

Burrow has an embarrassment of riches on offense. I love Diggs. But Chase is definitely better. Mixon can be a factor. They get the ball out quick.

Burrow played better lately. But the 2 and 3 spots are always juggling. Mahomes is the clear # 1.
