  1. There isn't one AFC team hitting on all cylinders. It's odd because in other years there was always one team (NE or KC) above the rest.

In the 90's, the NFC title game was the SB. You knew the Cowboys or Niners would wipe the floor with their SB opponent.

But there isn't one SB matchup where you can definitely say "That team will definitely win!!".

More parity than ever. Even the Texans are playing great teams to the end.

All good points, but I think that Detroit win is going to look better and better after the season is over.  They have some good young talent and are playing well.

If Detroit played this way from the start, they could be fighting for a top seed in the NFC right now.

The Bengals play at Foxboro next week might be a classic looking ahead to Monday Night game the next week game.
Pats except when they play Josh Allen seem to give every QB a hard time

I can't see Cincinnati losing that game.

I say that because even if NE gets after Burrow, who will be scoring TD's for Patriots?

Cincinnati doesn't need to be great in that game to win.

Understand your point, but just disagree here. None of those teams have the same level of qb.

There's a reason why the top 3 most dangerous teams are the same ones considered the favorites going into the year

    I do agree.

I would never put money on anyone but KC/Buf/Cin getting through the AFC.

Cincinnati still needs to win that division though. If Baltimore sweeps them, it's likely the Ravens take the North. That changes everything.

If Cincinnati were to beat Baltimore &NE, yet lose to us, I don't know who wins the north. I think it may be Baltimore? Both would have split. Both with 5 losses.

We actually best kc at their house. And we had them dead to rights

I'd rather not press our luck with another playoff game in that stadium.

KC is way better at home. I also find that they have played better against top tier competition than lower tier competition. They seem to do better against better teams. And let their foot off the gas against dregs.

Yes, we essentially have won three games there in the past 16 months. But I want them in Buffalo.

49ers, Dallas, and the Vikings could all potentially beat them, especially with an injury to a key player. Eagles have been extremely lucky on the injury front.

If an injury doesn't happen, I don't see them losing to Minnesota. Minnesota has a poor D & just looks out of sorts.

Dallas could give them trouble because of familiarity. But Dallas doesn't have great coaching.

SF is the one I think would have the best shot. Shanahan seems to do well no matter the QB. He is a top three coach imo. I wouldn't be stunned if SF went into that stadium and won.

But Philly is a tough place to play. It is cold and the fans are...interesting to say the least.

Possibly some patriot player that got drafted in ne and got a 2nd contract there may have had 10 home playoff games to start career.

    I looked it up.

Most consecutive home playoff games NE played was:

    09-13: 7

09: One and done against Ravens

10: One and done against Jets

11: Beat Den & Ravens. Lost SB

12: Beat Hou & lost to Ravens

13: Beat indy before losing in Denver

This is of course all irrelevant. If Mahomes wants to catch Brady in SB wins, his team better get him an elite D.

But yes...how would Mahomes do in Buffalo weather in late January?

Cincy is overhyped.  Philly, they deserve the hype right now.  They are playing complete football.

If we get to the SB, yes longgg ways to go, Philly is a bad matchup for us. In fact, they would be a pretty bad matchup for KC too. Does it mean we can't win? Of course not.

I'd rather see Minnesota or even SF.

Doesn't matter though. Too many games to play.

Forgot to mention: KC plays two straight home games. They are more formidable at home. So how much is playing down to their competition a matter of being on the road?

Over hyped?  NO.  They keep winning.  Annoying?  YES!  Strength of schedules are not used but I think the Bills, through adversity, are the better team.  Over come, injuries, weather and other oddities and keep on winning.

Agreed. They are not overhyped. I see Cincinnati and Philly getting all of the praise.

Bills have had a much more impressive season, given schedules and circumstances.

I would welcome a game with them in the playoffs. I think we matchup very well.

I think we matchup good. It won't be a death sentence if we travel to KC. We can win. But I want it in Buffalo.

Both teams are neck and neck. No one team would be an overwhelming favorite.

I still believe losing Hill will catch up to them in the playoffs.

Yeah because teams will double Kelce. It will be up to a lot of nice to good, not great, receivers to step up. I'm unsure how good their running game is.
