I was there, and It was a lot of fun.  But I think the "Let it snow" game in 2002 against Miami was the best snow game ever at the stadium.  Of course it didn't snow as much as this past year, but it still sucked driving home afterwards!   Ricky Williams ran for 220+ and scored right in front of our seats.  There's a good pic of me swatting him on the shoulder pads, I'll see if I can dig that one up..

    Found it, love the interwebs!

Have to slow it down or pause it, but you can see him start to duck as there were a few of us waiting to unload on him.  I am the one in red.  He got out of there quick!

I sincerely hope the great memories of the colts game, hold up as well as the memories of that 2002 dolphins game. At least in the dolphins game, they were still able to play football like normal. High scoring game, Jim Kelly hugging Pierless Price after a touchdown. Moulds catching a touchdown after it bounced off a dolphins arm. So many big plays. I wasn't at the dolphins game. I was at the colts game. I love snow games, but if the bills build a dome some day, we will hold onto these two games as some of the best days at the ralph.

  2. I think it would be rather unique to see a tie at the Ralph someday. It never happens in sports. I also go to plenty of Bills games, where it wouldn't bug me that much as say somebody who only goes to 1 game a year. I just hate coming so close to seeing it happen so late in the year. New England was still on the schedule. It was just as annoying when Rex punted, hoping to tie against Miami the year before. That time it didn't work. I thought that was the final thing that got Rex canned two days later. Obviously there was many things, but still. To see the new guy do the same thing was maddening. I don't think that Pederson would have done the same thing. I do hope the bills take a long look at the Eagle's strategy in the Super Bowl, and see how much of that would work for them.

  3. I believe that the Bills have many options in mind, because, what happens throughout free agency, and the first few pick of the draft, are all up in the air at this point. They probably have a set price in mind for the QB's that are available in free agency. They also have a set price in mind, for how much draft capital they are willing to pay to move up to get one of the Top 4 QBs, vs. how far they fall. The bills would love to have a plan, but there are so many other factors that have to play out in the next 8 weeks, that are almost out of their control.

We won.  Good call. There are no style points in coaching decisions.

Its not about style points. Its about the odds of winning. You have a better chance at winning, when you keep the ball on 4th and 1, with that much time left, then when you willingly give the ball to the other team.

    You realize we won, right?

The call worked. I'd rather have a coach that makes the right decisions based on all factors including playing backups and historic snow conditions than blindly following your coaching decisions flowchart.

Sean McDermott was quoted saying that he made the call, because he didn't want to lose, and was ok with tying this game. He got lucky that Indy wasn't able to move on the following drive, and that the colts had an incomplete pass, which stopped the clock. Just because they won, doesn't mean it was the right call. When they finally got the ball back, it was 20 yards lost from where the ball previously was, and half the time left on the clock to score.

This makes no sense to me at all.  Why would FOX pay for the draft if they:

    (a) Aren't bothering to send a production crew and are just simulcasting the NFL Network,

    (b) Don't want to air all three days, and

    (c) Have to compete for eyeballs with ESPN's broadcast in addition to the NFL Network's

I understand it's built into the Thursday Night package price, but this still doesn't make any sense.  The only thing FOX gets is a broadcast exclusive out of the deal.  If you are the type of person who watches any significant amount of the draft, it's highly unlikely you're a cord cutter and highly likely you at least have ESPN if not the NFL Network.

The only reason to hang onto cable is for watching sports, which is a crazy amount of money to just watch sports IMO. The NFL and FOX is trying to stay ahead of the public, so they can still watch the draft even if people are cutting the cord. They didn't say how much this deal is, but that it ties into the Thursday Night football Package. I got rid of cable a month ago, but am trying out SLING tv which has about a minute or so delay. This deal actually makes a lot of sense.

If yo don't think Kraft will swing by his place with a brief case of cash to keep him in the fold (off the cap, just like Brady) you are crazy.

He will be on the field at least one more year

If he does, he is truly an evil man. Gronkowski is so banged up, he will be in a much more messed up shape once he finally does retire. I hope Kraft supports his decision to focus on his health and retire.

I assumed she was doing the same thing I was; waiting for the inevitable flag to hit the ground.

I'd say it took me until about 20 seconds after the play ended before I finally started getting excited about the game being over.

Yeah I agree. I think she was hitting her poster, like nervously hoping they would get a penalty. Her friend then said, nope. I still don't understand the girl chanting the J.E.T.S Jets Jets Jets thing though. Must have had to been there.

This thread should be renamed “porn”

Lol, its debatable what would get more reads. A thread titled "Porn", or a thread titled "Bar filled with sad patriots fans."

  9. I mean, the more draft picks you have, the more chances you have to get it right. Watkins line of 39 catches, for 593 yards and 8 Touchdowns with a promising young quarterback. I don't think he puts up that kind of numbers with Tyrod Taylor. Its not crazy to think you can find first year starters in each of the first 3 rounds. And we have 5 picks in those rounds.

No longer shall my manly, hetero affection by directed at some of the stand by greats here like @ShadyBillsFan @Hapless Bills Fan @Steptide @John from Hemet @PromoTheRobot @e-ball or the others too numerous to mention here (you all know who you are...yes you doooo)

For you sir, have given me the greatest gift of all.  The gift of pure joy with one post.

Haha, Thanks man. I wonder what that girl in the "Dilly Dilly, bring on Philly" shirt does now.....

was that one girl a Jets fan wearing a Pats** jersey?...I swear I could hear her singing the J.E.T.S song then saying she was gonna go home and celebrate..lol...I would never be caught wearing a Pats** jersey as a fan of an AFCE team

Yeah I'm not sure what she was doing. Unless she re-did it to P.A.T.S pats, pats pats?.... I don't understand why you would go home and celebrate, even sarcastically in that spot.

  12. Aurora Audiology is the only commercial I turn the radio off for. I just listen to the hum of my engine, and make sure that sounds ok for the entire time that commercial runs. The rest, I'm sick of hearing the same thing over and over again. I'm sick of how a company like Geico can equally advertise to get people to buy their insurance, and also to get a job there. Hey their programming is free, so I guess were stuck with their commercials. The worst commercials are the ads that run on MSG during sabres games. I think there are only 5 ads that run on repeat every single commercial break. For that reason I welcome when the games are on NBC sports network.

  13. I kind of felt in the moment that Zach Ertz td looked really close to the Jesse James play. And the Clement TD looked like the definition of why I hate the NFL definition of a catch. I knew both should be catches, but the rule as I understood it, I expected the NFL to call it incomplete. I rewatched the Jesse James play, and I'm now thinking, its less steps but more control of the Ball. Zach Ertz loses the football completely, but he had more steps. I simply have come to expect the NFL to screw up the call in the favor of the Defense. Its what I've come to see in recent years of my watching football. And I hate New England as much as anybody.
