  1. WGR intentionally has a diverse group of hosts on their station. Every bills fan is different, so they try and accommodate a show for each type. I cannot stand the John Murphy show, but clearly a lot of people still like his show. I personally prefer Schopp and the Bull Dog as the best show on that station. I know a lot of other people hate them. I was hoping there would be a poll set up on this thread.

  2. This would make next week even more interesting, if Drew Brees some how hits the open market and signs with someone else. I wonder if we could afford him. I would love the move, then we can use all our draft picks to build a better team around him. Probably would only be a 2 or 3 year deal, instead of the 6 or 7 that Cousins would want.

  3. If we didn't make the playoffs, I would still be sitting around, wondering if the drought would EVER end. Everything from that final Bengals drive. leading up to the Jacksonville game, was the best week as a sports fan I have had in a long time. I feel like I would have been infinitely more upset at how bad the Sabres are right now, if I didn't get to experience a Buffalo Bills playoff game this year.

  4. I can remember Steve Tasker talking about him on the John Murphy show, saying sometimes when a player has such great success so quickly, he fails to appreciate the amount of work involved to be great. So he slacked off going into his sophomore year. I don't think I ever saw a player eat his way out of the league in just his second year. I'm sure trainers talk to players about that stuff and use him as an example.

What do cord cutters do for internet?

I assume if I ditched cable, Comcast would just double the bill for internet, and I assume the small providers don’t have nearly as fast connection.

When I was considering dropping tv, I asked Spectrum to give me a price for internet alone. So far what they have quoted to me has been accurate. They also gave me a faster internet connection, because they refuse to go below 100Mbps these days. I think I was at 20 before. I was paying $135 for tv and internet bundle, and my internet by it self is $65 now.

  6. Does anybody know how to have their TV broadcast their phone's display screen? I have Verizon, so I would automatically get bills games on the NFL app, streamed "Live" - more so about a 3 or 4 minute delay. Doesn't even use any data. That will be my best option, since I live near train tracks, and they mess up my digital antenna signal.

If you look back from 2025 and said “wow we have a franchise QB and we are currently contending every season and all it took was giving up draft picks and LeSean McCoy”..you probably wouldn’t find too many people dissing the move when looking backx

Problem is we are in the here and now and

you just might find it impossible to get people onboard to it in the present.

Exactly, if it works you're happy. If it doesn't work, and one of the QBs that was available at 21 ends up being that franchise QB anyways, we're pissed. It's like going for it on 4th and 11 on your own 30. If you get it, and eventually score a Touchdown on the drive, and win the game by 1 point, you're happy. If you don't get it and lose by the number of points the other team score on the ensuing drive, you're pissed. I would rather only trade picks to move up, I don't want to move our best offensive player. If Kyle and Eric are both gone, shady could be the new leader of that locker room.

  8. I really wish the fantasy football sites, would do a mock draft game. You would just need to have your final entry submitted at least a day in advance, as sometimes the first pick is decided before it even starts. I've also heard of a point system, where it doesn't worry about trades or teams, just predicting the number the player goes. 5 points if your spot on, 4 points if your 1 spot off, 3 points if your 2 spots off, 2 if your 3 spots off, and 1 if your 4 picks off. I feel once these games become more popular, we can find the point system we would all like. Make it happen Yahoo!, ESPN, CBS! Just do it!

    Me too.

I love them even when they make mistakes.

But we see last year differently. I have no interest in the playoffs. Didn't last year either. I want this team to be competitive for a Super Bowl title. Nothing less means squat to me. Last year's team was not good enough to be competitive for a title and frankly I wish they had lost more games instead and improved their draft position.

I'm glad for people who feel this was a monkey off their back. My monkey is still there and will be till we're truly an excellent team.

So was your New years Eve a miserable one? You really wish we were still talking about the drought right now? I'm sorry, I just don't believe you, that you didn't enjoy that week. The week that started when those 4:25 games kicked off on new years eve, and ended on January 7th. That week was the reason I stuck with this team for the entire drought. Was to hopefully be here for the party when it ended. Don't get me wrong, I didn't believe for a second that we would win the super bowl, but not every team that makes the playoffs is thought of as a super bowl contender. Finally something went our way. I would rather make the playoffs, then relive the Sabres tank year. I am so glad that who ever we draft this year, in this Quarterback rich draft, will never have to answer a question about the drought. I do believe that is very important.

Say they trade up for Rosen by giving the Giants (or Colts) both 2018 1sts and a 2019 1st and 2nd.  As the season progresses, it becomes clear that Dawkins is not a franchise LT, as Rosen just keeps taking hit after hit after hit.  Beane and McDermott know they have to get a franchise LT to protect their franchise QB.  But, guess what?  YOU DON'T HAVE A 1ST ROUND PICK IN 2019 TO USE ON A FRANCHISE LT, NOR DO YOU HAVE A 2019 2ND ROUND PICK!

But, you'll probably come back to this with "dude, they still have two 2nd round picks that they can use on an offensive tackle that could take over for Dawkins at LT."  The problem with that though, is the top LT prospect in this class is Mike McGlinchey, who's projected to go in the 1st.  Every other prospect is considered to be a better fit for guard or RT.

Moreover, this team STILL has a crying need at WR and, if Preston Brown walks and Kyle's future is uncertain, and they can't sign a top LB or DT (ex. Star Lotulelei) in free agency, now you have two more major holes that need to be filled and could be filled with those two 2nd round picks.

Not to worry though.  I'm sure this fanbase will be more than content to give away the store for Rosen and use those two 2nd round picks on the 3rd best WR available and a guard/RT prospect and go into training camp with a 3rd round LBer and Jerel Worthy and Adolphus Washington as your starting DTs.

There will be other ways we can fill those positions. There is a gamble every year in the draft. Its almost like a game of poker. And people will decide if we won or lost the draft on April 29th. Of course it will take several years to really decide that. You are assuming that if we traded all that, we would automatically be set up for failure, and essentially waste Josh Rosen's career, like the Sabres are wasting Eichel's. Dan Marino was picked at 27 in 1983. Maybe the Generational talent we want will be there at 21 or 22. We don't know, but all we can do is go with our gut. I'm sorry, but even when we drafted EJ Manual in the first round, we were all very excited to see how he would do. If we draft any Quarterback in the first round this year, its going to be exciting. I'm not going to allow myself to sit there on April 26th pissed because of what you said. This Quarterback we get, will be with us for 4 years at a minimum, and we aren't trading every single 1st and 2nd round pick from those 4 years. The Eagles traded a lot to get Carson Wentz, and they were able to win the super bowl even after he got injured. I thought according to your logic, the Eagles would have tons of holes throughout the rest of the team, after losing other draft picks. The rams still made the playoffs, after trading a lot to get Jared Goff. They were both in the playoffs in those Quarterbacks 2nd year. There are also tons of examples where it doesn't work. Lets watch and find out what happens.

New England - doesn't matter what the atmosphere is like.  as long as Brady is the QB, it's a loss.
Minnesota - if it's Cousins, combined with that defense, it's a loss.
Green Bay - Rodgers was shut down because we had a dominant defensive line that included a motivated Mario Williams and Marcel Dareus.  That game was also won, because Rodgers missed a wide open Jordy Nelson on what would have been a guaranteed 70+ yard TD pass.
Lions - it's a home game and whoever starts at left tackle will have to deal with Ziggy Ansah on the edge.  Stafford will also be throwing all over the field to Golden Tate and Marvin Jones - both of them might have career games.
Bears - Trubisky will be more experienced and they still an improving defense

I can remember exactly how I felt about last years schedule too.

    Carolina will be a loss,

No way we can put up points on Denvers Defense, That'll be a loss,

Atlanta will probably be towards the top of the NFC again, we will lose there

Tampa Bay - Winston will be more experienced, and Mike evans will light us up.

Oakland - Healthy Derek Carr, Oakland is the only hope to beat the patriots in the AFC.

New Orleans Drew Brees will light us up, probably put up 500+ passing yards

Kansas City, they always have our number, probably some fluky weird thing will happen at the end, and we will lose,

New England will be 2 losses as always.

Indianapolis, No way Andrew Luck loses in buffalo again.

Bills will probably be 4-12 in 2017, only beating Miami and the Jets.

Analyzing the schedule in February is silly......
