  1. How great is it to have a kicker who just buries the ball on FG and KOs. Hauschka has made, what, nine in a row over 50? Yes he shanked one in week one but he murders the ball. The 55 yarder looked like it was good from 65. I was watching the game live, he lined up for 55, 52, and 49 yard FGs and I just assumed he was going to make them all, and he did, easily.
  2. Then you are reading nonsense. ESPN has been having issues for a decade.
  3. Another in an endless series of reasons the half tank is stupid.
  4. Tyrod just said that every game during the national anthem he doesn't pay attention to it he prays. So I guess he is disrespecting the flag too by not thinking about what it means and our fallen soldiers who fought for our rights. He should be fired, the son of a bbitch.
  5. Not good. But that is apples to oranges. You can only compare it to other Thursday games. I will say that the top five broadcasts in all of television last week were all NFL games. They are not hurting.
  6. Gotcha. There has been so much crazy crap posted in last couple days it's tough to tell.
  7. Most of the lower ratings were due to the hurricanes according to several sources. Thursday's game was the best rated Thursday game in years i think. Because it was a good game.
  8. You mean outside of the fact that it went from about 14 players to a few hundred in one day?
  9. That was before the Orange Clown's statement forcing the issue.
  10. Osweiler had a winning record on that team, too, and he's terrible.
  11. Good point. When you think about it, Jeff Tuel for Art Donovan would be a steal.
  12. I do think that a guy who has been around the NFL his whole life, who has a dad who was a player and teaches him what being in the NFL take and what the league is all about is an advantage. It's not really genetics. The same way that the son of a high school coach is usually a distinct advantage.
  13. Lol. Awesome Yolo.
  14. The first INT was almost as bad. Leaning backwards, throwing sidearm, 20 yards downfield into the middle of about four defenders. That was awful. There were two reasons I thought the Bills had a chance today. The heat and humidity with Denver having to play on the road across the country where they aren't as good as at home, and that Seimien just isn't that good. And he wasn't. He made a few nice throws but every NFL QB can do that.
  15. Maybe he was ahead of his time. Today, Mario straight up for Skelton would be a pretty even trade.
  16. Bye.
  17. Leonard Johnson has played very well. Gaines barely beat out Shareece Wright. I have been thrilled with Gaines but it's not true to say a large part is because of the trade.
  18. I agree with that. On the Incognito play I thought exactly what you did. Shady was past them before the hold happened, which only happened on the third time Richie engaged the defender. My bud thought it happened before Shady passed. But I get most pissed when calls are made that have no affect on the play (although a lot of them are made before that can be determined). There was one holding call on the Bills I saw the ref make really late. Well after it happened. And my first reaction was that I was pissed that he made it so late. But after thinking about it, Tyrod escaped the tackle and then started to throw it downfield so maybe the ref called it late just because he escaped. It wasn't a bad call per se. But there are so many highly questionable calls I wish the refs would decide whether it impedes the play more.
  19. I would rather have Tyrod Taylor than Trevor Seimien.
  20. So they get no credit for beating teams they are supposed to beat like the Jets. They get highly criticized whenever they lose like against Carolina. And they get no credit for upsetting an undefeated team that crushed the Cowboys last week and are expected to be a playoff team because they may be slightly overrated. Got it. Carry on.
  21. Yep. The throw rolling to the left to OLeary was tremendous (as was the catch). The run for 14 yards and first down when he was all but sacked pretty much no one makes. The TD to Clay running and stopping and seeing the play materialize not a lot of guys make either. He has a lot of faults but he makes plays few make and he doesn't get credit for them.
  22. I thought there were about eight questionable calls during the game, including the taunting call and the hold you referenced. But I think neither team really benefitted more than the other. We got away with one or two holds that weren't called.
  23. Yup. Efficient is kind of all we can hope for.
  24. What did you think of Tyrod?
  25. All those guys hit and tackle. That one hit by Tre on the completion to the sidelines was amazing. Two tackles by Leonard Johnson were stellar.
