This was a failed thread the second you didn’t include Allen. We wouldn’t have won this without him.

Josh was THE player of the game, both the great and some bad. Harty made THE play of the game.

Secondary were dogs for keeping going strong. Again, the injuries pile up there arrgghhhh

so we will lose when Waddle and Mostert are out, but beat them when they are back.

That could happen... the margins between W and L are so slim. But why not get the job done tonight. #2 seed and division champ sound much nicer.  And lot less pressure now.

I still can't believe people not from WNY or a personal connection to Buffalo would randomly choose to cheer for the Bills.

I think there are actually quite a few of this type of fan here.  It's nuts!

Here's one here. And yes, I have sometimes wondered about both my sanity and wisdom ha ha. That drought was something else too. Now my sons have been infected so they get to share in the mood swings ha ha.

And well, I 'm greedy and in a hurry, I want them to win THIS year. Only 5 more Ws, baby!

I prefer not modeling my offense around a 5’7” slot WR whose only route was identifying and sitting in the soft part of a zone, catching the ball and diving to the ground.

Bills O was not modeled after him. But he was damn good at this, and it'd pay off. Beasley helped convert tons of 3rd downs. As if that was a bad thing to have special role players. Kelce is as good at finding spots as Beasley was, and then has the size to do more. So? He is elite. Does every Bills player have to be elite?

As for Kincaid, I was telling people he'd be used as a deep threat in the last game. Amd he was. Results: One INT, one incompletion, one long catch. Not the greatest start but he is a threat, continue to use him that way! With him and Cook, the Bills O can be a nightmare to defend, for all the complaining about Diggs and Davis. The Bills currently have all the tools to crush it.

If that were the case then he is effectively hurting the team. Have some one fully healthy step up, I'd like to see what Shakir or Kincaid could've done

He is still the #1 WR regardless. Just a diminished one.  Not like he becomes a non-factor or Von Miller like...

Diggs is either aging before our eyes or carrying an injury

Most likely an injury. You don't have a great first half of the season to suddenly losing to "age"!

People are so fickle. Lots of guys play hurt. I'm guessing JA is too (before this game even happened).

I'm an optimistic fan - but I have to admit that for the past month or so I feel like I have to brace myself at kickoff for whatever will happen in the ensuing 3-4 hours.  The Cowboys game almost felt like cheating, lol

Usually a blowout game gets boring. This one was just FUN throughout, and quite the relief for the heart attack inducing ones ha ha. It felt good for the players, for us, for the fans there, that it was at home. The sheer nastiness of it was great too.

  8. He can play half his usual reps just to get back to form for Miami. Or play the 1st quarter...

When facing an inferior foe, coaches should make it a must for the team to crush these foes early. After that, it's sack getting time for DLs, INTs for the secondary, fun run blocking for the OL, "vacation" for some, etc.

It won't happen if you keep the game close... or even lose. Nobody is focused 100% all the time. But make sure the team is focused 100% to start the game.

  9. The dude blossomed just at the right time... for himself. He is a crapshoot for any GM that signs him. He could be all the way from bargain-compared-to-production, to complete waste of doe. This year, for purely pass rushes and deflections, Floyd was better but he has a legit claim to #2. Oliver, Floyd, Rousseau were way more complete though.

  10. No doubt that they are battle tested, and IMO better than last year with the two new guards, Kincaid and Floyd. Slight drop off for our two super safeties, a big one for Miller but overall DL has stepped up, and Bernard is better than Edmunds. But for all that, they have no leeway for errors anymore. Crazy. Yet if they get in the playoffs, WACTH OUT. With 3 games out, they can realistically not make the playoffs to winning the Superbowl!

The pile drive at the end…

I saw that end of the play very clearly, both as it happened, and on the replay of course - I love pancake blocks. But I didn't realize he had his hands on him since the LOS ha ha.  Brutal.

I think Dodsons play has been huge. He's no Milano but the drop off is way less than it initially was.

Followed by Douglas being fully comfortable and playing like an elite CB1. What a trade by Beane, a 3rd for him and a 5th is tremendous and what a tandem him and Benford make. If we can stay healthy on D , expect this speed and violence every week going forward.

Rapp is a bit reckless but boy does he hit hard

Fully agree. Dodson, Douglas and Benford have played really well. Rapp is nasty.  Incredible that the defense is still so strong with all the injuries and well, Miller not exactly was he used to be.

Bernard is THE pleasant surprise of the year. For all the smack against Edmunds, MLB was thought to be the weak link in the defense. Bernard proved otherwise.

  13. The "300 yarders" deserve all the sarcasm ha ha. Well played. They were so annoying. But I can admit I was puzzled he didn't break that 'mythical mark' (yeah, right) for a long while, since back then, it was all about deep throws, and thus, big plays

  14. The run might not work on all teams, but wow did it work today! At LAST when the offense has success they stick with it instead of outsmarting themselves.

When other teams eventually play to stop the run and "dare Josh Allen to throw"... the Bills will oblige ha ha.

Cook played and was used exactly as some scouts were saying when he was drafted: unfair advantage. One can only dream but with Joe Brady plus Jones, Milano and Tre... just wow. I thought the Bills  were better then last year, and still think it.

  15. We have been blessed to have this incredible safety duo. They - and the "bend but don't break" defensive approach so many fans seem to hate -  is why the Bills almost never got burned for long plays, or have a guy that was somehow not covered. But yeah, Hyde, Poyer and Tre are likely done. Hopefully  the Bills can win the Superbowl this year so they go out as champs!

Sometimes I think the treatment of away fans gets exaggerated.

Probably. Yet I recall a few Bills fans throwing empty beer cans at a Dolphins fan with his young son. Not dangerous, but not exactly welcoming ha ha.

On a Bills-Jets game, SNF opener, I saw the most fights I've seen outside of a ring/cage ha ha. Yet it was mostly Bills fans against... Bills fans.

But the Bills have also shown they looked very good against other tough fronts like the Eagles, so I would look at this as more of an aberration...Allen has only been sacked 18 times in 13 games.

Yesterday he wasn't sacked much because of... himself. He eluded so many rushers. But KC was going blitz heavy. It was not just their front four doing this. Bills can learn from this and make Dallas pay.

  18. Since Joe Brady is OC, the offense looks great, is creative... and the WRs are not involved much. This game both teams did it. So I wouldn't worry. It's the first time Diggs seemed mentally out though. The other games he was all in.
