  1. Well, your personal observation is wrong. Not that I liked the last two outings ha ha. But the Bills have rarely been blown out under McD, while it happens to even top teams usually one time per year.

The TD pass to Deonte Harty was all Dorsey... for the otherwise really piss poor game plan. He stuck to the running game too.

Yes, Bas having two wide rights against the Giants IS bad ha ha. But over 50 yard is no gimme. I did find very weird the way he put himself in position on that second missed kick. Is he injured?

  2. I still recall when the first half of the season, Klein looked like a wounded duck is space and a liability. Then the Bills used him as a run stopper and blitzer and looked great! He had mad closing skills to tackle. It was night and day. He likely has lost some speed since, but he can used well. Not same role as Milano.

How is it possible for a player to get to the NFL and then not want to do everything in their power to be the best they can be?

To me, it's even more, how does a TEAM, coaches, teammates too, etc. even allow that? I can understand one being lazy about it compared to other payers, doing it half-ass, but not at all? Hard to believe.

I do believe that with how AJE is playing, we have the best DE rotation in the league with Rousseau, Floyd and AJE.  If we can get Von ramped up by the end of the season, this pass rush can carry the defense, no matter what injuries we have behind them (within reason).

Add Oliver and.... Jones. The interior of the DLine was doing its job too. They wreak havoc. Yesterday they didn't do that much, but they were so banged up grrrr.

  5. BTW when will be there be official news on Milano's injury? I don't get it. We have just "broken leg", which could mean many different parts of the leg. Hopefully, it's just a bone break, no knee damage. He could be back in 8-10 weeks. Which still sucks but much better than season ending (or worse...)

I only saw him wincing in pain during the TV broadcast. But have no clue how it happened.

I was unsure where to post this, my thoughts are that if the NFL wanted Jacksonville to play 2 games in London, one designated as home and then the other one as away then they needed to play the away game at Buffalo first then have the home Atlanta game as the 2nd game.

Practically I believe it wouldn't be possible because Tottenham played Liverpool on 30 September and that the Jaguars home game is always at Wembley.

This year Jacksonville has "gained" an additional home fixture. I hope this "experiment" ends this year or is significantly modified as one team gained a significant advantage.

As a European I am kind of down that a decent amount of Bills fans have negative opinions of European fixtures after this negative 2023 experience. I didn't personally attend but it was a beautiful day and the stadium was at least 85% Bills fans, it should have been an unforgettable day that lingered in the memory.

I'm not European but I felt the same too. It was more that the Jags are the experienced team in UK games, plus had 2 weeks in row there. I felt unfair. But that's on the NFL. Oh, it does piss me off when Bills lose home games though. But I get your point.

The problem with our offense is consistency, and it's a fatal flaw IMO.

By the end of the year it will be ranked very high but the ride there will be a rollercoaster with several duds mixed in.  That type of variance is not the way to get through a single elimination tournament.  One dud and we're going home.

Sure, i agree, yet you realize the Dolphins don't win every game with 70 points, or that the Chiefs and all don't score every drive?

The misuse of TE, the overuse of shotgun, the late adjusting to what the Jags were doing... it's all fair points, on the mark. But lack of consistency? Again the stats show it was quite the decent showing, and no team scores on every drive except the Bills against The Cheats (yesssss!). I recall the board on here a few years back constantly moaning when Josh hadn't had a 300 yard game yet. Now it's so routine people complain about other things...

Dorsey should have recognized after the FIRST series that the JAGS were not going to let us run the ball or hit those short rhythm passes.  Before the end of the 1st quarter he should have unleashed Allen and the downfield passing attack.

Yep. He has devised some seriously great game plans and plays, but adjusting during the game isn't his strength. Hopefully he learns. Bills have adjusted well many times after half time. This time it was just meh.

Hard to win when it’s 196 to 29 on the ground.

Besides the "running out of shotgun" I don't get why it didn't work this week. Usually, when you stick with it, some will work at least. This and barely productive TEs are the head scratchers to me on offense. On the D, it was the run that got them, but so many injuries! They mostly played well and kept the Bills into the game.

I would argue that Daquon Jones was better than White so far, but I won’t be surprised if he has a torn pec and is out for the season too.

He has been low key making everyone look great. But I recall Spielman playing with a torn pec for most of the season (while with Detroit) - he had the blood drained out after each game!

Milano... it look bad. So many injuries on the D. Whyyyyyyyyyy. Bernard chose to have his worse game yet when he was the one left...

And this is where I always get upset (throw in Lamar Jackson too).  These three have offenses in place that do a much better job of playing top their strengths, which I still am not sure the Bills do.  Rushing for Hurts & Jackson and Passing the ball with Herbert.

As others have pointed out only Mahomes is close to Allen, however has the better offensive game plan.

Maybe you should use a past sentence for that? Dorsey, this year, has AT LAST been the OC we wanted for so long.  Last 3 games, Josh's stats are off the charts... yet he didn't have to play hero ball. He certainly did amazing stuff when needed, but otherwise the gameplan allowed to let many other players do their parts and shine,  and that includes the OL. Dorsey did as good as Reid, McDaniels or anyone so far in 2023.

Plus, McD has been doing an awesome job as DC.  It's the first time in decades I'm so thrilled with the coaches as it comes to gameplans and designs - they had other parts down but not this one. They do now. So far anyway.

Josh barely got hit too. He's finding ways to have fun and be creative even if the load is off his shoulders compared to these past years. They have the right balance for sure as of now. And as Romo hinted, they also have a style that will still work come the bad windy and cold weather months.
