  1. Yes I thought the Bills were Superbowl bound the last 3 years. But in the end, so much goes into that, mostly injuries. So, I'll just enjoy this one. So many new players that it could be awesome or not so much. Just no way to know right now. It's a weird schedule though, with so many away games early, and the Cheats 2 times in the last 3 weeks. But, hey, just win baby!

Tom BRady chose his own selfish interests over his wife and families wellbeing.

What a bunch of crap. So Gisele has an affair WHILE married, and sends an ultimatum to her superstar NFL husband to stop his career cause she wants him to, and HE is the one who was selfish? As if him giving in to her whims would have saved that marriage. Lots of things to dislike Brady about, that sure is not one of them.

By the looks of this thread I’d say the other way around.

Brady made fun of half of the NFL.

In a a roast, EVRYONE gets it. Brady got some nasty comments (as expected), and lots of compliments too. All the talkers got some nasty crap. As fans, we should expect some and take it too. And in a roast, the "roasted" gets to say crap too.

I'm an hour in - this is incredible,  amazing comedy so far..

Must watch and there's still a bunch of comedy coming.

Everyone is getting roasted!! Old school, no woke bs!! Just amazing jokes, nothing off limits, wow

I'm currently 90 minutes in. It started great and kind of slowed down till Belichick and Gronk reappeared. The 2nd tier comedians take too much attention and it's annoying but indeed, what is crazy good, and makes it worth the watch, is that there are no filters. Racism, sexism. anything goes. As for the Hernandez jokes, I'm only surprised some came from Cheats* players.

You don't construct teams headed by the likes of J Goff or B Purdy the same way if you have a Josh "Freakin" Allen!

Josh is arguably one of the best ever at firing 25-30 yard downfield lasers.  And the boundary WRs that are penciled in for 2024 for this extreme talent are 1 rookie?  Are you kidding me?

I don't believe it actually, but a lot of you do and are seemingly fine with it.  I can only hope that the lack of uproar over the pathetic WR group doesn't affect the FO and they decide they can get away with rolling this mess out.

Many of the top NFL teams have not that great a receiver group. And the KC Chiefs sure proved you can win it all without one! Besides Kelce, they have good but not great ones.

Still, I agree with your take. Josh is a very special talent and that is why it matters. BTW Diggs was a legit #1 WR when traded for by the Bills. Anyway, sure, get him top talent... if you can. But the salary cap exists and so do the other 31 teams competing for the same talent.

But no excuses. Moss caught 39 TDs from Brady in just a few years. Yet do we need to remind ourselves that Brady won anyway no matter who surrounded him?

And in all these takes, the OL is always forgotten. Beane improved the group greatly last year and it makes a huge difference. Mahomes had a much better OL too and KC won the SB.

The board will be pleased with his combine 40 time 🙄

Look at the man impressive physical stats.... yet look at his results so far in the league. Fans put waaaaay too much stock in draft picks and physical attributes.

Oh I still like this signing. IF he came in cheap, there's basically only upsides or you fire him. A QB like JA17 can surely restart some of these WRs. Yet we saw what happened with Harty and Sherfield last year... Hopefully, he performs big.

  7. With this, the major kickoff changes, going to 17 and probably 18 games... it's like a new game. Most of the previous records will be meaningless. No one comes close to popularity of the NFL in the US. Why trying to fix something that isn't broken?

Though I liked the padded helmets for practices, the limitation of practices overall and of padded contact practices, making players come off for a concussion tests, and many other changes. This seems overkill.

I called my dad and his attitude was that he's our guy now so lets see where it leads us.

I don't follow college football. All I knew was that JA17 was among the 4 top QB prospects, and that the Bills traded to get him. I was thrilled.

Then I was like your dad. He's a Bills now, I root for him 100%. And for some reason, I liked his demeanor and liked him right then on draft day. Love at first sight you might say ha ha.

I clearly recall that I was shocked to see the hateful posts on here. Be mad at Beane and the team for  the selection, not at the player drafted! Some "fans" clearly wanted Allen to fail so they could be "proven right", and that Josh Rosen was the right Josh all along. I'll never get this one either. It's not like I pretend I knew better, just that JA17 was our QB so I wished him nothing but success.

My "fear" was not that he would be a bust (those you move on from), but good  without being elite. He has been awesome and the best thing to happen to the team in decades.

My hope is they’ll stretch Kincaid more downfield.

They did in the last games. And yes, it was about time! I mean, Kincaid is good for this, and the Bills had used Knox deep many times for a long while, so I didn't understand why it took so long, but they did. With Cook and Kincaid and WRs, they can really stretch the fields in so many different ways. The pass blocking was way better too last year, which opens more play possibilities. The Bills O were #3 if I'm not mistaken, yet it seems they could have done more.

NFL doesn't give a damn about spousal abuse.  But take a PEDor bet on a game...

Take PED? The NFL testing is a joke. Very few get caught. And they rarely call it for steroids, but for "violating the league's PED or drug policy', which could be pot, cocaine, etc. And isn't the first time 4 games suspension? Road cycling is more seen as drug ridden sport because they went after stars. Hypocrisy works.

Anyhow, Hill runs very very fast, and is a great WR. So he gets a lot of leeway. But even he won't be able to keep piling on these accusations.

Edit: and seeing it's a complaint for "verbal abuse" makes it quite weak...

Allen has had weapons. Let’s not act like he hasn’t. The offense has been one of the best.

People act like they are one of the worst.

They have a hole at WR. They will fill it with a talented WR.

I'm a HUGE JA17 fan. He is THE main reason the Bills can remain hyper competitive, even with the current salary cap woes. But  I agree with you. This last season, he had a very good OL, a running game, little injuries on the O side, etc. Diggs was, for sure, a #1 WR. Just look at the stats! He did falter in the 2nd half of the season, and Davis was on and off. But Kincaid came up.

Perfect? Of course not! Far from it. But let's look at the damn Chiefs. They had a great OL, a much improved defense... but don't tell me their WR core was spectacular! Yet they won again.

Any improvement is welcomed, but no team has a perfect roster. Fans focus on all the woes.

  12. Even if Reid and crew are better, what do you want the Bills to do? I'd say McD is Top 10 at the very least, close to the Top 5. So yeah, a few coaches are better than him, I don't doubt that. But if you fire him, then what?

49ers fans are saying the same for Shanahan what Bills fans are saying for McD. Yet they lost in the Superbowl in overtime! Only 1 team out of 32 is happy come the end of the season. Bills lost by a tiny margin to the SB champs this time, and well, while that 13 sec fiasco is on the D coaches, they had lost in OT. As if that was a sign they suck or something. Chiefs find a way to win, Bills have to do the same. But they sure can do it.

  13. Babich has done a tremendous job for position coaching, for the players on his watch. Back ups were always ready and performed, not confused and whatnot. Will he make a a good DC? That's a different story. McD wanted some help, promote a guy he likes and that doesn't threaten him. That's fine you know.

Joe Brady earned his job with real world tests.

It's true it doesn't equate for much coaching shakeups does it. But McD has "only" eleven playoff games with the Bills. People judge quick, and in a way they should, but that's not much. That 13 second is on him though. But the rest, it was close games except the Bengals. Reid was always seen as the good season coach but bad playoff one. Now that tag is gone for good. Can McD do the same? Let's hope so!

Do I think there are better coaches than McD. Yes. But who would replace him? With all the wins in a row come crunch time, he earned his stay. We'll see if it's for good or for bad. But so far Josh Allen Bills have only lost in the playoffs to the very top teams. Is it frustrating and all? Of course. But it's not something you scratch it all and start from zero again! It's like so many fans expect 17-0 seasons and a Superbowl everytime. Yes, we all want ONE. Just ONE please! (We'll get greedy after ha ha). But asking for major upheaval is almost weird.

Beane has to manage the cap well. He has a tough one ahead, and he will decide a lot of things. More than anyone else probably for next season.

Harbaugh doesn't have Josh Allen, genius.

I was POed last few years at all the praises constantly thrown at Spagnuolo (Chiefs DC) as, well, their D was the weak point and often bottom of the pack. Look at what he can do this year with good players!

I know people love to say it's the weakest Mahomes team but I disagree. Their WRs core sure is the weakest on his tenure, but the OLine and defense are top now.

To all the "Beane hasn't surrounded Josh with enough weapons", meaning WRs, who KC has got that is so good? Who is better than Diggs over there?

McD is here to stay, but yeah, better coaches would get more results than he did IMO. BUT, that being said, there is no shame in being bested by the very best coaches. And before getting rid of any coach or player, you have to be sure the replacement is better. Mc D is a Top 8 IMO.

It's simple the Bills did not try to surround Allen with the best available offensive players to fully exploit his skills.

So using a 1st round pick on Kincaid, drafting Torrence, getting McGovern, that was minor stuff? Some of you act like if superstar WRs are just on some shelves, waiting to be signed. And as if the salary cap was just a nuisance. ALL teams have weak links. Diggs was a top receiver, one of the very best. He's had a subpar end of the year, and we don't know why, but let's not pretend Beane could have predicted this.

why are so many WR nuts?

Is it something about the position?

It seems most speed fast twitched guys are also more impulsive, adventurous and all. And no, not a race things. In pro cycling (Tour de France...) the sprinters are usually the crazier ones.

WRs are also divas who want the ball, so even if most QBs are at the top of the totem pole, many top WRs will hassle them all the time to get the ball.
