Only guy I was worried about getting claimed was Hardy. What we (all fanbases) tend to overlook is just how hard some of these cuts are for teams to go from 90 to 53. We all get attached, but if any of these guys are claimed on waivers, they must be on the 53. Just like we have preferences, so does every team in the league. And when teams are putting together their practice squads, they tend to lean on familiarity. Here’s hoping we can get Hardy back on the PS and continue developing him as a CB.

Jonathan is completely underwhelming. A “meh” of a player. I’m not part of the Jonathan fan club whatsoever. In fact, I’m sick of hearing about all his potential that seems to disappear when he hits a field. But he gives you more pass rush potential than Toohill. Toohill is diet Ryan Denney on his best day.

I’m surprised they didn’t keep Jonathan over Toohill.

These guys and their love of Burrow. 🤦‍♂️ So many people still trying to talk their way out of Allen. Allen was also 3 in the ESPN top 100 players list released today (5th overall; third QB behind Mahomes and Lamar). Only guy who I’d comfortably put above Allen is Mahomes, and that’s because he’s earned it with skins on the wall. That’s to say nothing of Josh’s physical gifts which are second to none in the league. But Burrow or Jackson above Josh on any ranking is pretty ridiculous to me.

If they don’t cut him outright, I’d put him on IR for mental health. It’s clearly what’s plaguing him and how is that any different from a physical ailment? Both prevent you from doing your job. Put him on IR. Pay him the $ this year (better than having the full $7MM cap hit). See if he can shake it at any point during the season. If not, he sits on IR all year and can compete next year in camp with a rookie. Then, go throw a couple million at a guy who is cut in the next few days and hope for the best. Only other option might be to keep Bass and get a PS kicker. Call up the PS kicker for three weeks and deactivate Bass. Rinse and repeat throughout the year until you’re comfortable Bass has gotten over the mental.
