I’m just joshin’ ya and agree with most everything you wrote. Hopefully they get it together the rest of the way. Still waiting to have this mythical complete game for all 60 minutes everyone keeps talking about. Shoot, even most of the bad Bills teams over the past 20 years had one of those games where they looked great for a day. Still waiting on this team.

But other than that though, we’re doing ok, right? ?

Thankfully, our red zone success has made up for some of our other knuckleheadedness, but boy we don’t make it easy. Glad they make it count when they get there. I know part of it was due to it being the first game of the year and there isn’t a lot of tape on what you plan to do at that point, but WTH happened to all those shifts, motions, and multiple looks on offense from the jets game? I was impressed with the creativity there. Allen had some unfortunate turnovers and they went away from it ever since. Ravens had all sorts of motions and shifts last night (and assuming their other games are similar), and it seemed to work fine for them. ?‍♂️

Nor should they. This post isn’t directed at you, and is just made in general: I’m thrilled with the 6-2 start just like most folks, but we’ve struck out in our only two prove it games and failed to blow the doors off any of the tomato cans. Those are the facts and people are understandably skeptical. That’s not to knock what they’ve accomplished. You play your schedule. That’s it. But until we do what the Ravens did last night (or something comparable) where we beat a contending/talented team (preferably several in our last 8 games) people will doubt the Bills. Can’t blame them based on the history of this franchise.

Can never tell these days, but man that was an awesome hit.

I hope someone decks Landry. We owe him two good hits. We don’t really have any junk yard dogs on defense though to rough him up a bit so it won’t happen. Just like it never happens with Edelman. Only difference is I think Edelman genuinely is a tough player. Landry is a fake tough guy.

You beat teams like Cleveland. No excuses. All that talent, no plan. They are a beautiful disaster.

Need the next 3, because there is only 1 gimme (Jets) in the 5 after that. I’m not saying we can’t win any of those games, but I don’t trust Daboll.

I remember after the first year with Roman, people wondering if he should be the head coach. Say what you want about his pass concepts (which I think were fine), but he’s a mad scientist in the run game.

Completely agree. Although Josh gets out of his fair share of impossible situations, including today’s Houdini move, he’s not as fluid and shifty as Lamar as a runner. People get their undies in a twist if someone says Josh isn’t the best 2018 QB with everything. I love the guy, but come on. Gotta give Lamar his props.

Man...some competent offensive playcalling looks nice. And to think...we had the mad scientist Roman. Rex scapegoat.
