  1. Didn’t Tre also have huge plays in his rookie year that resulted in us winning? I recall a scoop and score (maybe Falcons) and a forced fumble and recovery in the clutch (maybe Buccaneers). Of course there are other examples that were mentioned. Guy in that article doesn’t know what he’s talking about.
  2. Lol. Good question. But that’s the way these NFL teams operate. Any slight advantage they’ll try to take it. Real or perceived. I will say, having lived in south Florida and currently living in the South, the humidity is a real thing. Nothing like those summers and falls I remember living in NYS. I think when the Dolphins did their stadium renovation, they designed it so the opposing team is in the sun during the game while their side is shaded. That combined with the humidity and dark jerseys probably has some effect on certain players. Not sure how much though.
  3. You just knew they’d stick us in blue with the heat in an early season game in South Florida.
  4. Like most players, he’s wasting away in Cleveland. Love him or hate him, the dude is a stud. Imagine him with a decent QB like Aaron Rodgers.
  5. Josh has work to do to silence his haters. No real mystery. Do I think some of it is a little harsh when you compare the treatment to what other QBs get? Yes, I think it’s a little unfair they hang on one misfire on what was otherwise a pretty solid day passing. But winning cures all. With respect to Dominique Foxworth’s take, most of it was fine. You could make a ton of memes and gifs with those facial contortions he makes when reacting to other takes. Bomani is just an opinionated dude. He’s got a little of the “I’m smarter than everyone else / my way or the highway” sort of vibe to him. Personally, I think that plays better on Around the Horn vs. other shows, but to each their own. Only thing that matters to me is winning and seeing Josh keep improving.
  6. I’m sorry, but Tannehill does absolutely nothing for me. I’ll give him his props for last year, but that dude is the epitome of mediocre.
  7. Damn last second kneel by Big Ben caused me to tie my fantasy game. Was up by 1 prior to that kneel down.
  8. I think so. Steve Levy and Louis Riddick are the new permanent crew. Since this is the opening double header, they are calling the Broncos Titans tonight. But this is a huge step up from Rex Ryan and Beth Mowins. Low bar I know, but enjoy it!
  9. Ben looking rusty and 40. These play calls have been doing him no favors. Screens and dump offs.
  10. Agreed. Love watching the Saturday night college football game with them on the call during typical years. It’s like a great appetizer for what’s to come on Sunday.
  11. Digging Fowler and Herbstreit on the call.
  12. This is great news! Wouldn’t be surprised if either sit a week, but probably expecting Milano to sit at least one with the soft tissue injury and playing the early season game in Miami where hydration can be an issue. Of course, I’m no Dr. David Chao.
  13. So true on this. I rewatched the highlights last night, and it would be close on whether Beasley scores with the defense looking like they had a slight angle (or at least more speed) to potentially run him down, but a better throw there and you’re looking at a huge gainer. These are some of the hidden yards Josh has to get better with, but are often overlooked because he technically completed the pass.
  14. Good Q. Looks gray to me, but maybe my eyes are F’d up. Lol.
  15. I actually like the logo and helmet. The gray PJs can go though.
  16. Brady and Brees looking old. Either that or those defenses are both legit. Really surprised with all those offensive weapons for both sides.
  17. Who is this Melanie sideline reporter doing the Chargers vs Bengals? Only thing making that game worthwhile.
