  1. Why bother showing up to this one? Just ask the NFLTA crew James Jones and Brian Baldinger. “Beat down by the Cheats”.
  2. Yep, I’d be game for that too. Could even get McKenzie going on jet sweeps in that scenario.
  3. I could definitely see all 3 backs up. Especially if Gilliam is out. Makes a lot of sense if the weather is ***** where running will be essential. He’s our hardest runner even if he’s slow. Even in that scenario, Moss would be #3 for me with limited touches.
  4. Not a shot at you Doc, but this whole Belichick praise thing is so stupid to me. Every year we go through this. Do the players sit around thinking “he likes me!” to lull them into a false sense of accomplishment? Yeah, he is a great coach. Highly accomplished. Great. Who gives a f*** what he thinks about Josh? Josh, the Bills, or the fan base doesn’t need his validation or approval. He can piss off with that.
  5. I could be completely wrong here, but I don’t worry about Josh just taking what the defense gives him against a Belly defense. If you recall, this is the team where Josh had that really bad interception game earlier in his career and had an epiphany about trying to do too much. I don’t know whether it results in a win or not, but I think Josh knows (and McD, Daboll, and Dorsey will drill him on it) to take what’s there against this team.
  6. All that red looks promising.
  7. It’ll be interesting to see what game plan Daboll comes up with for this one. Im sure he’ll have a wrinkle in the tank like when they played the Chiefs (not that exact game plan, but the wrinkles). I just hope he doesn’t overthink it.
  8. He probably sees it as an opportunity to actually see the field. Daniel Jones is close to bust status, if not already there. Yeah, he could’ve stayed on with a chance to develop into the long term backup here, but there was no guarantee. After riding the unathletic Matt Barkley train for a few years, I think think the Bills prefer an athletic profile more similar to Josh’s traits holding the clipboard so they don’t have to change everything if they need to use him. Which Jake Fromm is clearly not.
  9. This. The stench of that jags loss and the manner with which we got handled at home by the Colts is what turned the public perception and narrative on the Bills. They were darlings all off season and much of the beginning of the year. Bills can flip that back with a win on Monday. Personally, I want to see the offense firing like we saw in that Tennessee game. We’ve had good offensive games since then, but I don’t think any of us have had the pleasure of seeing how capable this offense really is when hitting on all cylinders very often this year.
  10. Does Pete Carroll survive this mess?
  11. Amazing talent, but dude just can’t stay healthy.
  12. Can’t imagine McD will be thrilled about him making this public. With that said, appreciative of what he’s given us this year. Particularly with Star out.
  13. Good grief. Chiefs are on SNF every other week.
  14. I used to be a Collinsworth defender, but that Chiefs game earlier this year completely turned me off on the guy.
  15. I hear ya. Personally, I think Groot will be fine the more experience he gets. I don’t know that it means routine 10 sack guy production, but I think he’ll get his share. Time will tell, and like you, I’m hoping he pans out and excels with continued development and opportunity.
  16. Yeah, the rotation certainly limits opportunities. For comparison, up to tonight, Oweh has played 66% of his team’s snaps (418; 7th on the team), while Groot has only played 51% of the Bills (362; 10th on the team). Oweh has 4 sacks and 5 TFLs (excluding tonight, but 5 sacks if you include tonight), while Groot has 3 sacks and 5 TFLs. To your point, I’d like to see Groot get more opportunities to rush. He’s already pretty solid against the run.
  17. Collinsworth fawning over the Ravens offense as if they’ve won the last two super bowls. Sure, it has been a great regular season offense, but flops in the playoffs. Dude needs to get a grip.
  18. I’d really like to have Greg Newsome about now with Tre being out. Was really hoping he’d fall to us in the draft. Browns had a nice draft. With respect to Baltimore, I haven’t watched all their games, but Oweh has been a pass rush presence in every game I’ve watched of Baltimore’s this year. It’s obviously very early, and I still really like Groot, but we need Groot to make a bit more noise as a pass rusher down the stretch.
  19. It was always going to have to be us. Just go handle your biz and beat these guys
  20. Do I think Meh Jones is going to eventually have to do more for his team to win consistently, particularly in the playoffs? Yes, of course. But tip of the cap to him to this point. He’s played well and it’s ok to say that. Some folks on here are mocking the short passing game they’ve deployed, but it’s not new for that team. Brady dinked and dunked us for years to great success (and no, I’m not saying Jones is Brady). They’ve typically tried to get it out quickly into their playmakers hands and force the defense to make a tackle. That along with solid running game and defense. And Belly has a case full of trophies and rings to prove it works. Bills need to step up and stake claim to the division with a win.
