More wins in 2018, Browns or Bills?
The Now Moment replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It'll be interesting, both teams are on the rise and I hope both make the playoffs and turn the tables on the teams that have dominated them for so long. -
McDermott is focused on winning...say what you want about what you liked about Ryan but he won nothing here. You know what I find as the best prime time entertainment, actually winning and being competitive. I'm glad the leaks are over and everything we are doing isn't out for everyone to see.

Still no cheerleaders for the Bills?
The Now Moment replied to MC Hamburg's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why does the NFL hire them though? If they are truly there for the entertainment of all of the fans, it wouldn't be just half-naked females. It would be a multigender group of dancers that are there for there dance routines not to show off their bodies. It just never made sense to me why they needed to be half-naked and only female. If the league is truly trying to be a family sport, then it needs to be change IMO. The NFL is a business on national television that pays them as entertainment. A beach doesn't compare to this haha. Thanks for your opinion though. I don't see the need for cheerleaders to wear what they wear. It's not like all dance groups wear bikinis. I just don't think it is necessary to have them be half-naked. I've yet to hear a real explanation to why they need to be half-naked. Also, I don't understand why they need to be all female. -
Which Bills Decision Infuriated You?
The Now Moment replied to BuffaloRush's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Besides the 3 game stretch, they gave up 17.7 points per game as a defense. The defense was the reason that they won so many games. How pointless is it to say they were the 26 that ranked defense...that was for yards. Points are what matter. They were a classic bend but don't break defense in most games. We won close games last year. I don't care about talent. Talent didn't get us anywhere back then did it. They won last year because they had the will to do so. They scratched and crawled their way to victory. It was incredibly entertaining to watch a team that didn't have a lot of talent go out and beat teams that were supposedly better than them. I don't just watch because of talent and teams don't win just because of talent. -

I disagree that they are family friendly. -

That's a really far reach man. There are dancers that wear clothes too. -

Why is it not directed more towards a family atmosphere? Why is it just female dancers, there are male dancers too. Why do they have to be half-naked? It really just doesn't make sense why they need to be half-naked and only female. The sport is not just for men anymore, it is a family sport. -

Still haven't heard one defense why they have to be half-naked or just women. -

That's the point...why do they need to be half-naked and only women. It is directed towards men. Not all men are creepy but nobody can deny that some are. Having them is like waiting for something to go wrong and sure enough, problems have come up. Have a dance team that is more directed to a family or don't have one at all. -

Really? How many points did they allow a game besides those three games? They were one of the best bend but don't break defenses at times last year and kept us in almost every game with little offense. How were they not good? Points are the only thing that truly matter. -

You use people as if it is a mix of men and women. It's not, it's just half-naked women. I stated that if they were fully clothed and it was multi-gender I wouldn't have a problem but we really need to have just half-naked women? -

You still didn't answer why half-naked women are needed for a family sport. -
Still no cheerleaders for the Bills?
The Now Moment replied to MC Hamburg's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Didn't say that, I don't think they should be a part of this sport. It's a family sport. Women and kids watch. Women can voluntarily dance half-naked somewhere else. Why are they needed for a family sport? Doesn't make any sense. Fully clothed multi-gender dance teams should be welcome but do we really need half-naked women? Why? That makes zero sense in today's world. -

This would make more sense. I'd be fine with a dance team that is not just women and everyone is fully clothed. Kids watch too. -

Question: What does half-naked women dancing have anything to do with what is now a family sport? There are many other ways to promote a sport that is watched by women and children as well... -

Least watchable? Some fans don't just watch the games to see their team score. I loved watching our defense last season. I thought last year was easily the most exciting year over the last ten. You must like watching only offense if you thought last year wasn't watchable. Do you only like watching teams that throw for 300 yards a game? Serious question. -

Well then we disagree. Sports are watched by many women and children, there is no need for half-naked women in sports. It makes zero sense from a business standpoint. It's honestly disgusting. Absolutely no need for them in any sport. -

Why do we need them? I think cheerleaders are a thing of the past and should be done away with. Do we really need half-naked women dancing? This isn't just a sport for men anymore. Women and children watch it. Let's grow with the times not get stuck in old ones. -
There is a high chance that he comes here and becomes more of a distraction than a playmaker. He won't get the targets he's looking for here. I don't see the relationship working out well at all. They have tons of cap next year and all of their draft picks, I'd expect them to go all in on weapons for Allen next year.

2019 Mock Drafts and top prospects
The Now Moment replied to thunderingsquid's topic in College Football
Around $90 million cap space will surely help. There's plenty of talent at the wide receiver position in free agency next offseason. I see them going in on one in free agency and one potentially in the 1st, second or third round next year. An injection of speed will be a hole Beane knows he needs to fill as soon as he can. There seems to be a better draft class at the position as well next year. I'm not too worried about the position, they front office knows it is a need. We just have to be patient. The talent on the defensive lineman in next year's class is quite impressive. I think they could look at continuing to boost that area as Hughes is a question mark. I really like Devin White though. He's a special player. I just got excited at the thought of them together in the middle of this defense for the next ten years I know they need offense. I know some people are a little upset about losing some of the draft picks we had but next offseason we have 9 draft picks and $90 million dollars to spend in free agency. We will be able to fill in most of the needs then. -

We still have a need at linebacker and we have a ton of cap next year. We have needs on offense obviously but we have plenty of ways to acquire more talent on that side next season. I don't think we will be forced to use all of our draft picks on the offense next year. -

McDermott would get excited in his pants for Devin White from LSU. Him and Edmunds in the middle of that defense would be scary. -
Taron Johnson can be a steal

Cleveland had a giant hole at CB but I get your point. They must feel that he can become the best corner in the NFL.They also have some reasonable players that are young that could break out at the end spot and I really liked the Chad Thomas pick in the 3rd for them. -

Well, when you play against Tom Brady twice a year...you get yourself some DBs and a nice pass rush.
